Renovated Provencal farmhouse with panoramic view of Lake Esparron de Verdon

Very beautiful single family villa renovated in 2016 magnificent view of the lake of Esparron (low gorges of the Verdon). To be added to the rent and paid locally for cleaning (90 eur) tourist taxes (0.70 eur / adults / night) and electricity according to your personal consumption. The rental of household linen, if desired, costs 20 eur / pers.
In season, the rental is from Saturday to Saturday.
Different leisure activities are available: nautical club, fishing, tennis, volleyball, hiking and horse riding, mountain biking 1km from the medieval village where you will find shops and restaurants.
The villa consists of a beautiful living room with air conditioning and panoramic view of the turquoise blue lake, a large terrace with barbecue, and garden furniture, an open fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 1 completely new bathroom and shower, Parking and Large plot wooded +/- 50 ares. Close to nautical club, sailing, windsurfing, pedal boats, electric boat, canoe, kayak, diving and swimming. Horse riding, mountain biking, hiking. Golf at 13km (Gréoux). Excursions Gorges du verdon, Luberon, Provence green and the thermal baths and spa treatments of Gréoux les Bains at 13 km.

This is a nice property. The terrace is a beautiful space with a great view. However, the property is in need of some TLC - the view is partially obscured by overgrown vegetation, the dining room table wobbles badly, cabinet handles fall off, plant pots with dead plants in them… However we had great week enjoying the terrace, the lake and the surrounding countryside.

Schönes Haus mit Seeblick

Das Haus ist wunderschön gelegen. Die Einfahrt zum Haus ist steil, nicht für Sportwagen oder ängstliche Fahrer. Das dritte Zimmer ist extern gelegen, Zugang nur von ausserhalb des Hauses. Die Küche ist gut eingerichtet, schade das es keinen Backofen gibt. Die Kommunikation mit dem Eigentümer und der Verwalterin war sehr gut. Es ist herrlich ruhig und der Blick in die Schlucht auf den See ist atemraubend schön.

Très belle villa sur le lac d Esparron

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans cette très belle et confortable villa. L accueil et les indications ont été très parfaits. État impeccable de la maison. Nous avons adoré la vue sur le lac depuis la maison. La descente à pied au lac ne prend pas plus de 15 minutes mais il faut être en bonne condition physique. C est un endroit idéal pour visiter la région. Nous reviendrons sûrement. Merci beaucoup à Mme Bouchez pour ces belles vacances!

Belle maison, bel endroit

Nous avons passé 3 semaines dans la maison « les terrasses » de Brigitte. On a eu l’impression d’occuper la résidence secondaire qu’une Tata gâteaux aurait délaissée, momentanément, pour en faire profiter ses neveux et nièces. Maison très confortable, bien équipée, bonnes literies. Grand séjour/cuisine/salon dont une grande baie vitrée donne sur la terrasse principale. Vaisselle à profusion. Le carrelage de l’ensemble de la maison en rend l’entretien facile. Les chambres sont petites, mais la salle de douche est confortable. Côté soleil : tout le matériel nécessaire pour que 4 personnes puissent se prélasser est à poste. Vue exceptionnelle sur le lac d’Esparron ; mais la maison n’est pas isolée comme semble le montrer les photos. Rassurez-vous, la végétation assure la l’intimité de la terrasse principale. Un reproche : la manipulation des ventaux de la baie vitrée, d’un autre âge. Une belle maison pour un séjour délassant.

Très bonne semaine

La maison est d'une propreté exceptionnelle. Très jolie vue. La literie est toute neuve et très confortable. Par contre je rejoins Marc G qui vient de donner son avis, nous ne trouvons pas normal qu'on puisse nous facturer l'électricité alors que personne n'a relevé le compteur devant nous.

Peut mieux faire

Pas d'accueil physique mais facilité d'accès. ( basé sur la confiance ?) Photo sur internet de la vue sur le lac ne correspondant pas à la réalité. ( végétation masquant en partie la vision) Noté d'électricité établie sans aucun contrôle. ( pas de relevé de compteur E D F ni à l'arrivée ni au départ)

Calme et vue

Location, claire et spacieuse, idéale pour se reposer. Equipement complet. Terrasse avec une vue idyllique sur le lac invitant à la lecture, ou à l'apéritif (avec modération pour le second)... Koppel met drie jongvolwassen kinderen uit Vlaanderen

Een heel mooie vakantie gehad. Het huis is rustig gelegen en proper . Alle keukengerief, wasmachine ook tuinmeubelen en paraplu zijn aanwezig. Ook de wifi werkt er goed. Mooi uitzicht vanuit onze woning op het meer. Leuk om een tocht te doen met de Kayak op het meer en de kleine gorges.

Bon séjour proche du lac d’Esparron

Très bon dans l’ensemble. Par contre un peu loin du lac de Sainte Croix surtout quand on voulait faire des balades dans les gorges. Villa propre, au calme et bien équipée.

Séjour agréable

Gîte très agréable et très bien placé. Petit bémol quant à l'accès à la maison qui nécessite des manœuvres ( pente raide avec un peu de difficulté pour faire demi tour). Mais c'est gérable et vite oublié grâce à la vue.

Heerlijk verblijf

Heerlijk vakantieverblijf in prachtige en rustige omgeving. Het uitzicht vanaf het terras op Lac d'Esparron was iedere dag genieten, al zou het schelen dat de bossages wat lager gehouden werden. Het huis is gezellig en de keuken compleet ingericht. De bedden slapen goed. 1e Minpuntje: het linnengoed is niet bij de prijs is inbegrepen en 40 euro p/p best veel is voor 1 set lakens en 2 sets badhanddoeken en 1 keukendoek, en je deze dus bij langer verblijf moet wassen, 2e minpuntje is dat er geen horren zijn en de muggen vrij spel hebben. Door de rustige ligging wel rekening houden met boodschappen, in de naaste omgeving/dorp Esparron-de-Verdon alleen het hoog nodige en niet te voet te doen. Wel voor een dappere fietser terug bergopwaarts... De communicatie met eigenares via sms verloopt prima.

Wunderschöne Aussicht, aber fehlerhafte Beschreibung

Der Blick vom Osthang auf den See ist ziemlich genial, auch wenn die Abendsonne früh hinter dem Hügel verschwindet. Und die Nachbarn sind ebenfalls weit genug entfernt, sodass man wunderbar entspannen kann, falls man in dieser Region voller entdeckenswerter Orte den Tag wirklich am Haus verbringen möchte. Das Haus ist sauber, das Bad zwar klein, dafür aber neu und gut ausgestattet. Die Schlafzimmer liegen eine halbe Treppe tiefer als der Wohnbereich und heizen sich dadurch nicht so sehr auf. In der Küche finden sich Markengeräte, ein großer Kühlschrank und vor allem ausreichend Geschirr, um nicht jeden Tag abwaschen zu müssen. Gerade letzten Punkt kennt man aus anderen Häusern deutlich schlechter! Die Betten waren für uns (recht schlanke) Menschen zu hart, aber das ist meines Erachtens immer ziemlich subjektiv und somit nicht anzukreiden. Wichtiger ist, dass die Matratzen nicht durchgelegen waren. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war hervorragend. Die Antworten kamen zügig und bei einer Bitte während des Urlaubes wurde umgehend reagiert. Warum dann also nur 3 Sterne? Kommen wir zu den negativen Aspekten: 1) Die Auffahrt zum Haus: Das Haus liegt unterhalb der Straße und die Auffahrt ist insbesondere im ersten Abschnitt sehr steil und macht dabei noch eine kleine Kurve. Ich würde definitiv rückwärts ans Haus fahren, da am Haus selbst keine Wendemöglichkeit besteht. 2) Der Außenbereich könnte schon liebevoller gestaltet sein. Am Nachbarhaus, das ebenfalls der Vermieterin gehört, sieht man, dass es besser geht. 3) Die Endreinigung ist für ein Haus dieser Größe recht teuer. Zusätzlich ist der Strom nicht inkludiert und scheint ziemlich teuer bzw. der Verbrauch hoch zu sein, obwohl Klimaanlage und Heizung nicht genutzt wurden. Wir haben in zwei Wochen mehr für den Strom bezahlt, als in Deutschland für einen Monat... 4) Die bei fewo angegebenen Mietbedingungen und der Mietvertrag stimmen bei den Checkin-, Checkoutzeiten und den Stornobedingungen nicht überein (im Mietvertrag jeweils zuungunsten des Mieter geregelt). 5) Die bei fewo angegebene Ausstattungsliste ist (bewusst!) fehlerhaft. Der Toaster soll lt. Vermieterin noch kommen, fehlt aber halt aktuell. Und der Backofen existiert nicht. Die Vermieterin ist der Überzeugung, dass die Mikrowelle mit Grillfunktion einen ausreichenden Ersatz darstellt. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Urlaub und wenn die genannten Kritikpunkte klar kommuniziert würden, wäre es ein 4 bis 5 Sterne-Haus.

Eine schöne Zeit

es hat uns gut gefallen in diesem Haus in den Bergen von Esparron. Das Haus ist schön, die Lage sehr gut und nachts ist es ist einfach nur still und naturell. Wenn an den Feiertagen (wir hatten zwei davon) die Franzosen das kleine Städtchen besuchen, bekommt man eine kleine Vorstellung davon, was da im Sommer los sein wird. Gut vorstellbar, dass das nicht für jedermann ist, wir waren froh, dass wir im Mai unterwegs waren. Uns hat es aber insgesamt gut gefallen, wir sind ja eh immer nur abends im Haus gewesen, weil wir tagsüber unterwegs waren. Man sollte wissen, dass die Nachbarn ihre Hunde gerne mal frei laufen lassen, es gibt am Haus keinen geschlossenen Garten. Das war für uns mit einem nicht so kompatiblem Hund nicht so doll. Da lag dann schon mal ein fremder Schäferhund oder Labrador vor der Terrassentür, der dann auch gleich noch sein Geschäft bei uns gelassen hat. Ich denke dass sollte man als Hundehalter wissen. Ansonsten hätte ich noch eine Anregung: Eine Infomappe mit deutschen oder wenigsten englischen Infos zu der Umgebung etc. hätte ich vor Ort hilfreich gefunden. Wer im Urlaub arbeiten muss, so wie wir, sollte sich eine Internetlösing mit nehmen. Wir wären vollkommen aufgeschmissen gewesen, wenn wir nicht einen Plan B gehabt hätten. Die Netzanbindung ist eine super Katastrophe. Ständig fällt das WLAN aus, ist dann stundenweise nicht erreichbar. Wer nur mal Mails abrufen oder kurt Facebooken will - keine Problem, wenn das WLAnN da ist. Schönes, Haus, mit guten Betten, tollen Bett und funktionell eingerichteter Küche, einem wunderbaren Blick nach unten und einer hauseigenen Fledermaus und Dachsen (?) im Garten, die sich aber nicht zeigen, die man nur hören kann ab und an.
