Ideally located in the real countryside of Haute-Provence (near to Manosque, 45 min. from Aix-en-Provence, one hour from Marseille and one hour and half from saint-Tropez). The charming historical village of Esparron du Verdon (castle of 10th century; old houses) with all the commodities is very close by ; access to the beautiful lake of Esparron-du-verdon (less than 1 km from the house).
Very peaceful, all mod cons, two large terraces of 40 m2 in front and in the back of the house. Recent construction in the heart of Provence. Discount for long stay.

Comfortable, homely, French home with character.

This was exactly what we needed a break away from the hustle and bustle of the busy life's we lead, I'm pleased we had found a comfortable, homely, French home with character. This property will easily sleep 10 with plenty of space we had 4 adults and 6 children no problems fitting in, the house is in super quiet location and a few minuet's drive to the local town and that in it's self is gorgeous location Esparron-de-Verdon i would highly recommend this place if you wish to to actually get away and enjoy peace and quiet, freedom to roam and see the stars and let your children enjoy more then just technology....real life family time! Thanks again to Janine Gilly for the accommodation we will see you again in the near future.... Regards Simon & family

Stays nice and cool even when temperatures rise outside

We misunderstood the check-in procedure and made someone wait for us which we apologize for. The house number wasn’t present in the emails so the house was a bit difficult to find, but we managed. By closing the shutters and windows during the day, the house stays nice and cool even though the temperature is high outside- we appreciated that very much. The two patios give the possibility to eat out in the morning and the evening and we used them every day. The lake is not within walking distance with kids die to distance and heat, but it’s doable by car. We enjoyed our stay in Esparron very much.

Schöne einsame Lage

Etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Ferienhaus in schöner Alleinlage. Wer sich daran nicht stört, ist dort bestens aufgehoben. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit.

Tolles Haus im Grünen

Das Haus liegt ca 1,5 km ausserhalb auf einem großen naturbelassenen Gelände. 2 Terassen, so dass man zu jeder Tageszeit wunderbar draussen sitzen kann. Dicke Mauern, so dass das Haus auch bei höheren Temperaturen kühl bleibt. Im nahen Ort Zugang zum See, Möglichkeit zu baden und zu wandern. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Hebergement chez Gilly

Un super séjour en famille. Maison propre et bien pratique surtout pour les enfants. Nous y avons séjourné une semaine avec 5 enfants et nous etions très à l'aise tant à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur. À refaire.

Très bonne communication par contre nous avons pas le même sens du ménage ni des consignes. lave vaisselle plein et fermé donc à l'ouverture il sens le moisi et la vaisselle aussi. Frigos fermés et éteins : ils ont donc moisi aussi. Draps et serviettes pris dans les affaires personnels de la famille ce qui n’était pas convenu ainsi laissés sale devant la machine a laver. Ménage pas fait juste un coup de balai et de chiffon dans la salle de bain. Ils ont fait de l'escale sur les murs, pris des cailloux du muret pour faire des dessins... et j'en passe... la liste est trop longues. bref je suis extrement déçue je ne recommande pas

Séjour à Esparron

Nous avons passée 2 semaines très agréable au sein de cette maison et les gérants sont très agréables (mention spéciale pour le vin pétillant offert). Excentrée du reste du village, nous y sommes au calme. Le lac d’esparron est accessible à 20min à pied ce qui n’est pas négligeable. Merci pour ce séjour! :)

Esparron-2020

Excellent séjour. En pleine nature, belle et grande maison offrant tout confort et fraicheur aux heures chaudes de l'été. Excellent point de départ pour des randonnées pédestres ou cyclistes à conclure par une baignade dans les eaux vertes et azur du lac d'Esparron. Ne pas manquer de visiter le vieux village, le château, les ruines, puis prendre une pose pour se rafraichir au lavoir, avant inévitablement de revenir en bord de lac pour y suivre les couleurs variées avec les heures ou la lune et les étoiles montées avec la nuit.

Repos assuré en pleine nature

Agréable maison, nichée en pleine nature, qui garde bien la fraîcheur par les journées torrides. La terrasse, où on peut dîner en admirant le soleil couchant, est un délice. L'équipement est un peu sommaire (pas de Wi-Fi, pas de draps fournis...). A noter, des lits d'excellente qualité. Le lac d'Esparron est d'une beauté à couper le souffle, l'eau y est transparente et à température parfaite pour la baignade. On peut y accéder à pied, mais avec des enfants mieux vaut y aller en voiture, surtout par temps chaud et si on veut éviter les plages du village (essentiellement des falaises) pour chercher de petits accès à l'eau plus plats et plus intimes. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Merci aux propriétaires et à leur fille Alexandra pour leur gentillesse et leur disponibilité.
