Beachside Villa Palms is located in Podstrana, 8 km away from the 1700 year old town of Split. House is situated right on the beach and consists of 6 beautiful apartments with amazing sea views of city of Split along with Adriatic archipelago which include various islands.

This listing consist of 5 beautiful apartments for total of 16 people. 4 of them are overlooking the beach, sea and city of Split.

Three apartments have 2 bedrooms (queen size beds), a bathroom, kitchen with dinning room and private terrace with sea view.
One is a studio apartment with big bedroom connected to the little kitchen with bathroom and private balcony (with sea view).
Last one is one bedroom apartment with separate kitchen and dining area. It has bathroom and private balcony (without sea view). Three of them are on the first floor, one is on the second and one on the third floor.

The accommodation is ideal for friends and families to relax since it is in a quiet neighborhood.

Guests can use all of the amenities and facilities around the house like free parking, grill and fireplace, spacious garden, sunbeds on the beach and outside shower and bathroom.

Group Family holiday

We were staying at Villa Palms with three families consisting 5 adults 7 children ages 2 to 12 years. Apartments were everything what we expected and what we had readed from previous rewiews. We had three apartments from 2nd floor, which all have seawiew balcony. Aparments were spotless and in very good condition. Owner was very helpful and patient for answering questions about surroundings and services provided. Owner organised our airport transfers which helped us a lot. Owner was also very patient towards our company which is really important when travelling with a group of children. We used amenities of Hotel Le Meridien (Tennis, spa and swimming pools) situated nearby. Best part still was the sea, which was on the spot. I would recommend these aparments by a heartbeat.

Fantastic home at the beach

I have stayed at Palme for a week and it has been really fantastic. First of all, our hosts have been very friendly, giving us tips and home made wine! The house is big, having different apartments . We stayed in two different units and they were both super clean, looking good and well equipped (TV, towels, bedding sets, kitchen utensil). The location is absolutely best, you walk down the stairs, walk through a green garden and find yourself at the beach with a turquoise see waiting for you! We had our meals on private balcony looking out to the palm trees and the sea... Really, this is paradise. If you can, just go! The sea is marvelous, the apartments are great and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. Enjoy your holidays!

The best place for relax

I think that is the best place to relax. Very kind and hospitable owners. Very clean and comfortable guest rooms, amazing garden. The house is located on the beach, sun loungers are available for guest. Is very close to Split and Omis. I will recommend 100 % Villa Palms for everyone.

it was really nice, the owners are very friendly and helpful. Although the weather was not so good we enjoyed our stay very much. The apartments are as nice as the pictures show. It was clean and well-maintained. It is really the nicest house around! There are good retaurants nearby - you just have to walk along the beautiful beach.

Book this villa and you will have no regrets!

I wholeheartedly recommend booking Villa Palms for large or small groups – it’s blooming marvellous and the hosts are awesome! From my initial enquiry and subsequent stream of emailed questions to the welcome they gave, the recommendations and the history lessons, Mr & Mrs Ruzic could not have been a better and more caring pair of hosts. Given how large and loud my group was this was even more impressive! The villa is split into small self-contained apartments and each one has been recently refurbished to a high standard with all the appliances and equipment you’d require for a self-catering holiday. The pictures seriously do not do the rooms or the facilities justice – get a photo up of your massive out door BBQ in action guys! Location wise the villa was perfect for us. The sun was shining so being bang on the beach was immense which, at times, we had all to ourselves. Podstrana is approximately 30 minutes in a taxi from Split airport, 40 minutes to Omis for rafting or for partying then it’s a quick 20 minute drive to split or a 55 minute speedboat to Hvar meaning you can have the joy of a quiet beach holiday yet mix it up with ease should you wish ;) Ultimately, I couldn’t fault the Villa Palms, the lovely Ruzic family or the location. Book this villa and you will have no regrets!

Spring trip Villa Palms

This accomodation and our hosts turned out to be the perfect choice. At times our big group was hard to handle, the owners remained relaxed and very friendly at any time, their service was excellent. The location of the house is fantastic, the interior is modern and super clean. The place allows a holiday in a small village with the option to go to the city of Split easily. Without any doubt I can highly recommend it.

A great two-week stay at the seaside

Villa Palms turned out to be exactly as described. Our group of 4 adults and 3 children (10-11 yrs) enjoyed being at the seaside - the kids swam for countless hours, and during our stay of two weeks we never got tired of the sound of the sea or the views from the balconies. It is easy to make day trips from Podstrana: the owner Niksa helped us book trips, and we used public transportation too. We visited Split, Trogir, Omis, and Makarska (wonderful views from the coach), and went shopping to CityOne shopping centre, which turned out to be excellent especially as for swimming gear. The highlight was our visit to the old church of Podstrana up on the mountain where the locals had a special day to celebrate the village saint. There were really good restaurants on the beach a few minutes' walk away from the property, and you could go for a walk or a jog on the beach. Just a 10-15-minute walk away there was also Le Meridien Hotel where you could use the spa with indoor and outdoor swimming pools (the kids loved them), go to the restaurants, or have a massage. The owner Niksa and his wife are extremely friendly and helpful, and we do hope that we can visit them a third time, too!

Villa Palme in Podstrana - excellent

I've holidayed in close to 100 countries, and I must say our stay in Villa Palme was one of the best vacations I've ever taken. Croatia proved to be tidy, modern, efficient and beautiful, the apartments spotlessly clean and the hosts very friendly and patient, considering we had 4 noisy pre-adolescents with us four grown-ups living under the same roof. October is low season, which made our stay particularly wonderful: the sea water was warm enough for us to enjoy swimming and snorkeling but there were no huge crowds anywhere. The food in the restaurants was reasonably priced and delicious, and the host family's tomatoes, fruit, oil and wine organically grown and very tasty. The figs were the best I've ever had (and I'm 64, after all). In Split, do visit the restaurant Fife near Marjan if you like good food! Krka waterfalls and the surroundings plus the scenic route by the sea were just right for the kids (aged 9-10-10-11) - enticing but not exhausting. Even if the waters weren't full of colourful fish like those in Key Largo (Florida), Eilat (Israel) or Kota Kinabalu (Malaysia), the fact that we had a nice skipper and a boat for our party only made the day out at sea memorable and enjoyable, especially as we spotted a dolphin swimming alongside our boat - a wild creature worth more than 100 in captivity! I'm already planning to return to Croatia.

Perfect holiday

This was our 3rd and surely not the last stay at the Villa Palms. For a family with 3 children it has everything you could wish for. Beautiful spacious modern appartment very comfortably equipped with all the appliances needed and a terrific view over the sea... Villa is situated straight on the beach perfectly suitable for small children as well as people who want to get a good swim, with an unbelievable garden full of palm trees where you can relax. You won´t find anything like that anywhere. There are many interesting places worth seeing near Podstrana - Split, Omiš, Old Podstrana, island Bra?... And what´s more - the owners are such a nice people, willing and caring, helpful in any way. We haven´t seen an accomodation you could compare to this one. We will surely come back next year again.

Just perfect place for family vacation

The location is very easy for find. Autobahn is almost to this City. Just 15 min you need to drive by local road. I was there 3 times and i will come again. Home is on the beach so is perfect for family with childs and grandparents. Shadow in garden is very nice during hot summer. Owners are very friendly. Thay are a one big and nice family. Great place to stay in Split area!

Villa Palms is a beautiful villa located right on the beach and by the sea. It is a very nice and comfortable place to stay. Our family stayed with two small kids and we had everything that was needed for a perfect family vacation by the sea. The location was perfect - right by the clean and warm sea, with not a lot of people, great views, and comfortable accommodations. We went to grocery and to the restaurants by foot (just 5 minutes away), and traveled to Split by car, which was approximately a 15 minute ride. Overall, everything was great about Villa Palms!
