The apartment had everything we needed! Check in was easy since the lady that checked us in had a voice translator on her phone. We enjoyed our stay!

Perfect accommodation in a gorgeous place

The property was beautiful, spotlessly clean and very tastefully decorated. It was a truly relaxing place, felt very homely and was in an ideal location for all Cassis has to offer. It had everything we could have needed for our stay, including a well-equipped kitchen, and Robert was a wonderful, welcoming host. We only wish we had booked to stay longer! Thank you Roberto!

Check out process needs clarification

We were checked in by someone who was not the person we were told would do the checkin. The day before we left we had to change our check out time because our rental car had been hit while parked and we needed extra time at the airport. The property manager agreed to the earlier checkout time and showed up the night before at the apartment and again stated she would be there the next day at the earlier time. She did arrive early and was mad that we had not cleaned the apartment. Nowhere in the listing does it state this requirement. She asked for 20 euros to clean the apartment. We refused. She finally let us go and said we would have to pay this if the owner did not agree. We have rented more than 20 times from VRBO with no problem. We have never had to clean an apartment. If this is their requirement, it should be clearly stated. Having this happen certainly was unpleasant and totally avoidable..

Vous avez raison Madame, il n'y a pas d'obligation de faire le ménage pour les locataires et il n'y a rien à payer en plus La personne qui a assuré votre départ a simplement été choquée de l'état dans lequel était l'appartement lors de votre départ mais je comprends maintenant que cela est dû à votre obligation de partir précipitamment suite aux ennuis que vous avez eu avec votre véhicule, j'en suis désolé pour vous Vous avez cependant passé d'excellentes vacances à Cassis ce qui est le principale Cordialement Capomazza Robert

Nous avons séjourné 4 nuits dans cet appartement. Rien à dire tout était niquel et comme sur l’annonce. L’appartement est très bien situé, proche de toute commodité pas la peine d’utiliser la voiture étant donné que tout est accessible à pied. Ce fut un plaisir de découvrir la jolie ville de Cassis. Très bel appartement

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine à Cassis. L'appartement est charmant et bien équipé. L'accueil est très agréable. Et comme l'appartement se trouve à une minute d'une station de bus qui fait la navette depuis la gare ainsi que du centre piéton de la jolie ville de Cassis, le fait de ne pas avoir de voiture ne nous a pas handicapé du tout. Les plages, les calanques et tous les commerces et restaurants sont facilement accessibles à pied. Le seul petit bémol est le parking juste devant les fenêtres (il ne se voit sur aucune des photos), mais nous avons tout de même pu bien dormir la fenêtre ouverte et dès que le regard monte un peu, la vue est belle de tous les côtés.

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour d une semaine dans ce superbe appartement idéalement situé.A quelques metres du port et des plages de cassis nullement besoin de véhicule pour se déplacer. Que dire de l accueil du propriétaire absolument génial,d une tres grande courtoisie et très avenant.Merci a vous monsieur.Nul doute que nous reviendrons avec mon épouse revoir les calanques.

The apartment is better than described as it is tastefully furnished and pleasant to just sit in. We enjoyed the restaurants, but also enjoyed take sways from the two little shops just down the stairs. Robert is a fine, thoughtful host. And, Cassis is Cassis!!

Die Wohnung liegt nur 2 Minuten vom Hafen entfernt, ist sehr gemütlich und persönlich eingerichtet. Die Aussicht auf das Parkhaus fanden wir eher unterhaltend als störend, die beiden Feinkostgeschäfte in direkter Nachbarschaft sind vorzüglich und haben auch Brot fürs Frühstück. Schöne Wohnung in zentraler Lage

Die geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnung lässt erkennen, dass auch der Vermieter hier gelegentlich wohnt und sich wohlfühlen möchte. Viele Kleinigkeiten, die für einen Ferien-Nutzer nicht erforderlich wären - schaffen einen behaglichen und wohnlichen Gesamteindruck. Das Appartement ist auf relativ kleinem Raum sehr gut geschnitten, so dass kein Eindruck der Enge entsteht. Von der Wohnung aus ist in ca. zwei bis drei Minuten zu Fuß die Hafenpromenade und das Zentrum zu erreichen. Einziger Wermutstropfen war, dass die Aussicht auf ein Parkhaus gerichtet ist, was auch interessante Beobachtungen erlaubt, aber nicht ganz der durch das Foto geweckten Erwartung gerecht wird, auf das Wasser zu blicken.

Nous avons séjourné à Cassis dans ce superbe appartement climatisé au mois de Juillet. Tout était parfait, l'équipement est top (lave-vaisselle et machine à laver), la déco de très bon goût, on s'y sent comme chez soi. Les commerçants tout prôches sont très accueillants et proposent un service de qualité. Nous espèrons pouvoir y retourner dès que possible. Merci à Marie-pierre pour son accueil et à Robert pour sa disponibilité.

Stylish, very comfortable apartment in the heart of idyllic Cassis

This is a superb apartment! My wife and myself spent a very happy week there, a great mix of mod-cons and interesting features, with a fabulous view. Location couldn’t be better, a couple of delis around the corner and a 5 minute walk to Cassis Harbour and the classy thrum of this gorgeous part of the Côte d’Azur. Robert and his wife were delightful and helpful hosts. So we had a good time!

Charming place, great location, very comfortable.

We stayed 5 nights in Robert's apartment. It is decorated and appointed very nicely. Absolutely sparkling clean. The location is perfect for a couple, just a few steps from the port. The kitchen is well equipped -although we did no cooking--there are two shops just at the entrance to the apartment complex; a butcher and a small tabac/grocery. Both have prepared dishes like a traiteur and the boucherie has rotisserie chickens. Having parking in the apartment complex lot is a huge plus. It was delightful to sit at the open window and enjoy breakfast or a light lunch or supper. As noted in one of the reviews in French, there are a lot of towels, soaps, toilet paper, dishwasher and laundry detergent, paper towels. Both town beaches are an easy walk, we preferred the pebbly Plage du Bestouan over the Grand Plage. The nearest calanques (Calanque d'En-Vau and de Port Pin) are walkable if you are so inclined. Robert was easy to communicate with and very quick to answer inquiries. (en francais) We would recommend his apartment as the ideal place to enjoy this delightful town.

appartement au plein centre de cassis, propre, cosi, agréable, décoré avec gout, avec parking ce qui est vraiment appréciable - lit confortable ainsi que le canapé - il y a la clim de partout ce qui n'est pas un luxe quand il fait chaud d'une part et d'autre part, quand malheureusement, nous ne pouvons pas ouvrir les baies vitrées le soir et la nuit, sachant que l'appartement se trouve devant un parking ...avec les portes qui claquent et les gens qui parlent fort… propriétaire sympa comme tout qui a pris le soin de nous envoyer un sms pour savoir si tout s'est bien passé ne l'ayant pas vu à la rendue des clés - la dame est très sympa d'ailleurs ! juste un petit bémol, les vitres n'étaient pas propres ce qui est bien dommage dans la mesure que cet appartement offre une jolie vue ...peut être mettre des verres à vins pour pouvoir apprécier les vins de cassis et un presse agrume qui m'a manqué pour mes petits jus de citrons et oranges frais le matin sinon, tout y était, cuisine très fonctionnelle avec adoucisseur d'eau qui est un plus, salle de bain également fonctionnelle avec des serviettes à gogo, papiers toilettes, savon ...ce qui n'est pas la cas dans d'autres locations - idem pour la cuisine, avec produits bio que nous apprécions - en tout cas, chouette appartement qui sent bon les huiles essentielles quand vous arrivez ... nous reviendrons hors saison avec grand plaisir ...

EXCELLENT SEJOUR

Nous avons passé le week-end de l'ascension dans ce superbe appartement idéalement situé au centre de CASSIS. Nous avons apprécié la gentillesse du propriétaire, le confort de l'appartement et sa proximité du centre et du port ce qui permet de passer un excellent séjour sans avoir à reprendre la voiture, ce qui est un luxe à CASSIS ou la circulation et le stationnement sont compliqués.
