Self Catering Stylish Period Town House in Stamford
Park Gate stands on the edge of Burghley Park and is well situated within easy walking distance of Stamford's wonderfully preserved town centre. This self catering accommodation over four floors sleeping 4/5 comprises a welcoming entrance hall with coat hooks and worn stone steps leading down to a study, cloakroom and sitting room all with underfloor heating. The cosy sitting room has 32" Smart TV and period fireplace, sofa and easy chairs in which to relax. Study with desk and chair and WIFI for those of you who need to keep in touch with your office.
Kitchen and dining area are situated on the ground floor and accessed off the entrance hall. The kitchen is fully fitted with Corian worktops, electric oven and hob, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and a Krushr recycling compactor. A cold filtered water and hot steaming tap ensures you can make that quick “cuppa” without waiting for the kettle to boil. The kitchen is well equipped with white fine china and cooking utensils. Ironing board and iron available for use. The dining area has table and chairs to seat 4 although two additional chairs in the hall could easily be used to accommodate dining seating for up to 6.
From the corner of the dining area a door leads outside to a small walled patio area with table and chairs to enjoy the warmth of long summer evenings.

It was a pleasure to host you again Jocelynn and thank you for returning.
We had a great stay in Stamford. The property was ideal for our needs, especially the cool basement room in the hot weather. It was situated brilliantly for the Battle Proms and Stamford High Street.

Great place to stay
Stay in Stamford for 11 days for my daughter's wedding. What a great house to stay in and close to the centre of Stamford. The house was well equipped
I would recommend the house and location to my friends.
We had a bit of a miscommunication with check in, but once that was sorted we had a great stay at park gate in Stamford. We had a lovely comfortable stay, we were there for 2 weeks and greatly enjoyed our stay.
Stamford is gorgeous and we had a lovely time exploring and visiting family near by..
The property is well situated to the railway station and is a nice walk into town to local restaurants.
it is well stocked with everything you should need and has been well looked after with some nice upgrades.
I would definitely stay again and would recommend!!
Thank you!!

Thank you so much for your feedback. We truly appreciate your stay with us and value all comments to help improve the experience for future guests. We did have a minor damp issue in the basement, caused by water entering through the stonework, but I'm happy to share that it has since been fully resolved. To ensure the space remains as comfortable as possible, we also added a dehumidifier to speed up the process. We always strive to provide a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for all our guests. We hope to welcome you back in the future!
This property was terrific. Very clean and ideally located for the town, restaurants, shop, Friday market etc. Also the gate opposite links to Burghley House which we visited on three consecutive days (ticket valid for a year!).
