About this property

Lovely place at Vondelpark in Amsterdam! (max 4 people!)

Lovely space situated right next to the Vondelpark and near Museumplein (Museum Square). The neighborhood is filled with restaurants, bars, cafés and shops. A fantastic place for families or couple.

This historical building was built around 1881 during the development of the Schinkel neighborhood.

The space is situated on the third floor and has been designed for our guests with love and care, the way we would want to be treated if we were the guests. The typical steep Amsterdam stairs are less suitable for guests with limited mobility.

The place is a charming creative space, it's open with two living and sleeping areas. The space can be separated by en-suite sliding doors for privacy. There is a double box spring on one side and two separate box springs on the other side.

The bathroom has a bathtub and the toilet is in a separate room. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, dishwasher, fridge, electric kettle and a Nespresso coffee maker.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
+ It is not allowed in Amsterdam to stay with more then four people.
We cannot make exceptions at arrival.
+ We do not accommodate stag parties and such.

We live on the second floor. If the house rules are not followed, you will have to leave our apartment. The reservation amount will not be refunded.

The apartment was in a fantastic spot, right next to Vondelpark and lovely shops and cafes, plus walking distance to major sights. Jean-Paul was a great host - communicated well and was really helpful and friendly when we arrived, even letting us check in after an early flight arrival from Australia. The beds were comfy, hot water plentiful (even with two pre-teen girls showering!) and everything was clean and neat. Beautiful views too, I loved watching sunrise and sunset. Highly recommend.

Lovely place to stay in Amsterdam in a great neighborhood

We stayed here for 4 days while we visiting Amsterdam. It was perfect for our family of 3. The space is very comfortable and it was good to come back and relax after a day exploring the city. The neighborhood has lots of stores, restaurants, and is close to public transportation and parks. Would stay here again when we come back to visit.

Great location in Amsterdam

Easy to get to from remote parking at the Olympic Stadium. Large loft accommodation and very gracious host who helped us up and down the steep stairs with our luggage. The center of the city was a quick Uber ride away.

Great place to experience Amsterdam! The location is perfect - away from all of the touristy areas (but close enough to take public transit, bike, or even walk to easily). It's directly across from one of the main parks (and a playground if you have kids!), lots of bike rentals around, and great food / grocery stores. The space itself worked well for me and my family. I will say the steep stairs were a bit of a shock at first, but they weren't an issue after getting our things up initially. I will say the floor is a bit at an angle so that might bother some, but I don't think it detracted much. Very clean, lots of space.

Absolute perfection by Vondelpark

Living here gives you a feeling of being a local in Amsterdam, starting every day walking through the beautiful Vondelpark. It was one of our favorite places we've ever stayed! Stairway to heaven!

Beautiful space, lots of steep stairs you get used to in the area and fantastic Hosts! This flat was a perfect spot to explore Amsterdam and sleep well at night to recharge from the day. We will be back to explore more of this beautiful country and city.

Great location steps away from Vondelpark. Nice area with mostly local less touristy stores & restaurants. Check in & out could not have been easier. Host was friendly & helpful. It is really a good and clean place, location is very convenient close to tram stop, Vondel Park and grocery store. JeanPaul is is a very good host, he helped us to bring the luggage upstairs. The stairs are a little daunting to say the least and definitely not for the faint of heart. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful apartment across from Vondelpark

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment. Perfect for our family with two teens. Had all the amenities we needed for a 4 day stay. Very comfortable and charming spot. Jean-Paul was very communicative and helped with our luggage up the stairs, which are very steep. We would definitely stay here again. The Vondelpark is lovely and Amsterdam is a wonderful city to visit.

Our street is full of great restaurants; one of our favorites is Dragon I, just a 3-minute walk from the house.
