Less than 5 minutes walk from the center of Cascais, the beaches, the museum area, and the train station that goes to Lisbon.
It has 1 suite with a double bed, and 2 rooms with two single beds in each room. It can accommodate 6 adults.

Ideal location - Very walkable, clean, safe area. Beautiful town. VRBO was great - clean, convenient, modern. Close to everything - ocean, parks, shops, restaurants, train.No parking included for this VRBO - Had to park elsewhere in a public pay-to-park lot and re-park every 24 hours. (Not noted in description). Otherwise 10 rating!

Great location close to amenities but quiet. Plenty of space and everything you might need is included. The property was very clean, modern and spacious. We would definitely recommend it and would visit again.

Cascais Perfection

We rented this lovely place for 6 weeks, and it was great time for all. Conveniently located in town but very quiet and safe. Near everything. Can get anywhere you need to in minutes. Joao was very helpful and available. Super clean and have everything needed for longer stay. Loved it.

Great location, very well equipped and good host

We stayed 10 days in this great holiday house with a family of 5 (3 kids 13,10,6) We all enjoyed Cascais the day trips to Lisbon and the hiking along the coastline and in the surroundings. The house is very close (3 min walk) to the restaurants, bars and beach of Cascais, and Cascais has a lot to offer. The translation to Lisbon is less than 10 min walk and brings you to Lisbon in 35 minutes. The house has a basement with washing machine and dryer. 1st floor two bedrooms and 2nd floor one bedroom. The kitchen is well equipped. If you want to sit outside there is only a possibility to sit basically on the paved quiet road in front of the house. The nights were usually calm although the seagulls kept us awake as we are not used to that sound. Parking options are limited and is paid (09.00-20.00) at 25 meters. We could not use the parking app somehow (you seem to need a Portugees fiscal number?) so we choose to park 11 minutes away outside the paid area. Last but not least thanks to the good Host Joao who welcomed us. We recommended this home.

Living in historic Cascais

This property is situated in the historic area of Cascais. A perfect location to get everywhere in minutes. The house is just lovely. Fresh, clean and modern. Lots of windows and A/C in every room. Highly recommended. Note - because the home is spread across 4 levels, stairs are part of daily living. Anyone with mobility issues or very small children should take note.

Perfect in every way!

Lovely property in a central historic area in Castaic. Walking distance to everything you can imagine from museums to restaurants to bus stations to the weekly farmers market. Jaoa, the owner, was so gracious and helpful making our stay here perfect. He even recommended and set up Luis who provided Airport transportation and restaurant recommendations. Highly recommend.

Wunderschönes kleines Haus in guter Lage

Wir haben eine Woche in dem charmanten Haus in der Altstadt sehr genossen. Die Lage ist unschlagbar gut, die Vermieterin sehr freundlich. Es ist perfekt eingerichtet und sehr sauber, wir können es nur empfehlen. Das Wohn- und Esszimmer ist im Verhältnis zu den anderen Räumen etwas klein geraten. Aber das ist wohl in Portugal so üblich. Wir können die Unterkunft in dem schönen Cascais nur empfehlen.

Everything that previous visitors had said but more. Myself, husband and son loved it!!

It was perfect for our family. My husband has walking difficulties and walks with a stick but beaches, restaurants and centre were so near. Found an amazing Italian restaurant a few streets away which we visited twice!!! I must mention that owner Joa who was at the apartment to greet us and show around, was very helpful. wonderful location; great clean home

We enjoyed our stay in Cascais at this clean comfortable little home. The location is the best, walking distance to everything downtown Cascais. It is also just minutes away form a great walking/running/ bike path by the ocean. Highly recommend this home. The owners are lovely. They helped us with transportation to and from Lisbon airport as we were getting to town really late at night and we had to leave 3:40 am for our flight. If we go back we will stay with them again. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Lovely large central house

Schönes Häuschen in der Altstadt

Das Haus liegt sehr schön und ruhig in der Altstadt von Cascais. Alles ist sehr schnell zu Fuss zu erreichen, Läden, Strand, Restaurants... Die Zimmer sind sehr hell und schön eingerichtet, das Wohnzimmer ist im EG, dies ist eher dunkel und kühl (was bei heissen Temperaturen sicher angenehm ist). Betten waren bequem und auf jeder Etage hat es ein WC. Küche gut und zweckmässig eingerichtet.

Beautiful apartment, great location and very helpful owners.

Three of us enjoyed a long weekend in Cascais in this beautiful and well equipped apartment. All new appliances including A/C - heaters in each room. Located above the beach area in a quiet street near the historic Citidele area of the city it offers easy walking access to fine restaurants, museums and shops. The apartment is on three levels so the stairs might be a challenge for older guests, but we are seniors ourselves and managed. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend these accommodations to others.

Cascais short break

Short break of 4 nights with our son, daughter in law and grandson (16mths). Cascais was perhaps larger and more cosmopolitan than expected but nevertheless less a good mix of old and new with beach, waterfront, marina and working fishing fleet, the place really grew on us. Lurdes house is brilliantly situated in the old cobbled streets literally five minutes walk from the beach front. Loads of lovely little Tapas bars and restaurants again within five minutes walk including 3 of those topping Tripadviser's current list. The house itself is as described in the information having been completely renovated recently and is very well fitted with all new fixtures and fittings working wifi ect. Not ideal for youngsters as it is open plan with open slatted stairs. Very attractive but for those still toddling/crawling we had to develop a few safety strategies of our own. At first we thought parking maybe a problem (we had two cars) as on street parking we think was reserved for locals but in fact there is a large carpark within 5 minutes walk at 5 euro per day. Lurdes and Joao handled all arrangements perfectly and whilst we did not meet (we were met on arrival by his sister in law) all went well and I would happily recommend this property.

Super townhouse in the heart of old Cascais

Myself and 4 friends stayed here for a long weekend that was a mix of golf and relaxation. None of us had ever visited Cascais before and when deciding on which property to rent I have to say the owner Joao stood out as he was extremely helpful and friendly. He is really great to deal with and even gave us great advice on golf courses in the area. The town is extremely beautiful and this property is in the heart of the old town that is a maze of cobbled streets and beautiful old buildings. When you enter the property you are greeted by a very tastefully decorated townhouse that has all the modern requirements (wifi, aircon, laundry room) and excellent living facilities. It was very clean and also easy to maintain. The bed rooms are great and are all fitted with blackout shutters and air con units. Joao even has a welcome booklet that gives you lots of advice from taxi contact to things to do. We had a car and parked it in the outdoor car park that is a 5 minute walk away. This is advisable as it is very easy to get a parking fine should you leave the car with out paying for parking. The location is "superb" as it is only a 3 minute walk to the main square and another 2 minutes to the beach. We found the area to be very peaceful and quiet. There is a very handy shop just around the corner and plenty of lovely restaurants less than a minute or so away. We had a great experience.
