Why they chose this property

Villa Mendula is set in the peaceful town of Okrug Gornji (Ciovo island). It is a perfect base from which to explore the beautiful Croatian towns (Zadar, Sibenik, Trogir, Split, Omis), Croatian islands, national parks, and ancient attractions.

Island Ciovo is connected by two bridges with the mainland, therefore there are no extra charges if you are traveling by car. From the Town of Okrug Gornji, you can go to the Town of Trogir by bus or by boat which runs every 15-30 min.

The Town of Okrug Gornji is only 10 km away from Split Airport and highway, so it may well be said that the entire globe is within one's reach from the Town of Okrug. You are only 5 km away from the Town of Trogir rich with cultural heritage and 30 km away from walking along the famous Diocletian's Palace, having a cup of coffee at the popular Riva promenade and the Town of Split.

The Marina Trogir, which is located on the northern end of the island of Čiovo, across from the old historical heart of Trogir and near the airport and motorway is an ideal starting point for exploring the Adriatic coast.
