About this property
A beautifilly refurbished pre-war attic house in the village 15 km from Wroclaw
You are invited to rest and relax in a renovated post-war attic studio flat in a detached house in Polakowice - a village 15 mins’ drive from Wroclaw. Great road access from the A4 motorway, just 3 km from the Strzelin exit.
The 100- m2 studio is on the first floor, with a separate entrance via stairs directly from the yard. The renovated original brick lends the interior a unique character, a combination of modernity and an exceptional sense of the past.
Once you’re with us we can provide you with eggs from ‘happy hens’, you can order ‘real milk, fresh from the cow’ and for those who can’t resist the taste and smell of home-made bread, you’ll be in for a treat. If you’re planning to relax on a special occasion, like a birthday or an anniversary, you can order home-made layer cakes, or other specialities of the house, including home-made wine. Everything is made on-site with no additives or preservatives, using only the best ingredients. If you would like this option, please ask for details before your arrival.
The house is surrounded by a large garden with apple and cherry trees, as well as lots of green grass where you can take a blanket and rest for a while reading a book, enjoying a drink or even having a barbecue. The area is quiet, though just 2 km from the main road. There is plenty of place for a tent for kids, to park your car or run around. The residence is animal -friendly and suitable for a family with kids, but would also be ideal for a couple or a group of friends to organize a small party.
For those who, apart from relaxation in the village, fancy a drink or two in Wroclaw, famous for its local beer, we offer a drop-off and pickup service to and from the city centre. Stay until late and enjoy a drink without worrying about finding a parking space in the busy centre. Details and costs for this option are available on request.

During the heating season (September - end of April), or any time you may wish for this, extra fee for electric heating applies. It's approx. Eur 20 a day, paid in cash, based on the meter. Please note it's not included in the price, because it may vary, depending on your prferences and outside temperatures - we can charge it based on the meter [some Eur 0,20 per 1 kWh, or Eur 20 a day, whichever option you prefer).

Please note we might not always be able to welcome you before 3.30 p.m., since we have a regular job. You can get to the apartment any time, just inform us if you wish to check in earlier and we'll leave the key for you.
I'm an amateur baker and confectioner. I haven't bought a single loaf of bread for more than three years. My favourite ones are leaven-based, from barley to rye and all other flour mixtures one can imagine, exceptionally aromatic, and with various ingredients that make each loaf unique. I also love baking – from simple yet elegant cheesecakes to huge multi-layer cakes.
By profession I'm a project assistant, translator and interpreter in an industrial design company. I’m absolutely addicted to cats, of which I have four and haven't said the last word yet. : )
I love interior design and decoration, and my biggest project is the refurbished post-war attic apartment that I designed and decorated from scratch. It's now being furnished and completed to serve as a summer holiday home for agritourism enthusiasts from all over the world. Be it a cake or an interior, colour is what matters and makes decoration inspiring so I’m not afraid of combining unusual, sometimes even controversial colours and these contrasts are a theme in my confectionery and interior design projects.
