This fantastic year-round vacation home rental features three levels, many windows offering picturesque views, and excellent access to the waterfront. This Adirondack vacation home rental features two living rooms and a dock that accommodates two boats. This home offers a peaceful environment on the East side of Hadlock Lake, letting you enjoy the sunsets. We provide luxurious linens (including beach towels) for your comfort.

On the main level, there is a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, living room, queen bedroom, and bathroom. Located on the top level, there are two master king bedrooms and a shared bathroom. This Adirondack vacation home rental offers a laundry area with a washer and dryer, and another full bathroom on the bottom level. Also, on the bottom level, there is a large living room with lake views and a sleeper sofa. The fourth bedroom features two twin-over-twin bunk beds. Cozy up next to one of the three gas fireplaces, one in the main living room and two on the lake-level floor. On the deck, you will find a BBQ for all your outdoor cooking needs, while taking in the beautiful lake views. This home also features an oversized covered porch with patio seating and a hot tub!

Relax and unwind in the bar/game room. This detached building features a bar, dartboard, shuffleboard, arcade games, a large screen television, a lounge area, and a pool table. This is the perfect spot to spend time with family and friends and make the best memories!

You can rent kayaks and paddleboards to experience all the lake has to offer; ask us how. This vacation home is pet-friendly; bring along your four-legged friend, for a small fee, dogs only. Must submit an up-to-date rabies vaccination card. Paradox Park is a private park for Northern Living guests, with a swing set, playhouse, basketball court, horseshoes, geodome, and much more!

There are good hiking trails within two miles. This Adirondack vacation home rental is located in Fort Ann, minutes from Lake George Village, which offers outlet shopping, amusement parks, and cultural events. Saratoga is forty minutes away, and Albany Airport is one hour away. This house is close to all activities yet away from it all.

Once your booking is confirmed, you will be required to sign a rental agreement. This must be completed to receive your check-in instructions. On the day of arrival, the check-in instructions will be sent via email at 4 pm. ***

The Ultimate Lakehouse Escape with Breathtaking Views!We recently stayed at this lakehouse and can honestly say it was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable getaways we've had. The lake views were beautiful —you can see the water from almost every room, and the sunsets from the deck were fantastic.The home itself was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully equipped. The hot tub and game room were a huge hit with everyone! —perfect for keeping everyone entertained with pool table foosball, darts, and board games during a rainy afternoon.We made s'mores, on the fire pit, and enjoyed the peaceful sounds of nature.The kitchen had everything we needed, and the layout of the house gave everyone enough space to spread out and relax. Whether we were lounging by the water, cooking together, or just soaking in the quiet atmosphere, it was exactly the kind of escape we were hoping for.Highly recommend this property to couples, families, or small groups looking for a scenic and well-appointed retreat. Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at the Lakeside Retreat. We'd never been to the Adirondacks or Hadlock Lake previously, but we had such a great time, we'll definitely be back. The house is lovely and well equipped, and the setting on the lake is beautiful. Katelyn is a great host who was very responsive both before and during our stay. We spent all day swimming and paddleboarding in the lake and just went out a few times to take some great hikes in the area. Highly recommend this spot!

Only criticism is that one needs to survey all furniture,etc.for damage or you could be paying for damage you did not cause. We were ok with all the stairs but people with mobility issues would have a hard time with this.

50th Birthday Celebration

Perfect getaway with 3 families..adults and our teens. Something to do for everyone. Steps from the water with dock system and float for kids to jump off, game room with pool, darts, shuffleboard and bar and well appointed kitchen. Comfy beds, a/c, and covered deck area in case it rains. Short ride to Saratoga and helped make connection for a boat rental. Katelyn and team were responsive if we needed to ask any questions. Tranquil lake house with great amenities

Wonderful stay between Christmas and New Year's for our 2 families and dog. Lots to do both indoors and outdoors. Hiked, played board games, watched movies, cooked and baked, walked on the frozen pond, enjoyed the hot tub and slept in comfy beds! Communication with property manager was easy and timely esp leading up to arrival. Property is clean and pictures accurately reflect the set up. For a party of 9 property size was just right, dining room plus kitchen seat that size party. Any additional visitors sleep on pull out couches and that makes home fairly crammed, esp in winter. Would love to come back!

Relaxing Lakeside Getaway with All the Perks

Lakeside Retreat was an excellent rental for a weekend getaway. We had 13 adult guests stay for a long weekend, and it never felt cramped. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were clean, and the kitchen was very well stocked. The real perk of this place is the lakefront access. The views are amazing and the deck and floating dock allowed for lots of lounging and games. We brought our own paddleboards, and it was an excellent, calm lake for paddleboarding around. In addition, the game room was a big hit! It was nice that it was in a detached garage, so some people could go to sleep and not be awoken by those choosing to stay up late in the game room. All around a fun weekend and I would recommend this property to others.

Stayed 2 nights Fri 3/20 to Sun 4/1 in 2018. Katelyn our property host was amazing to work with. Her communication was prompt, thoughtful and warm. The property itself is a stunning split level home and as you gaze across the lake and see neighboring properties, it is definitely the nicest house on the block. Home is fully stocked in the kitchen. Laundry even has washing detergent, fabric softener. Abundance of towels. House was immaculate when we arrived. Its furnishings are modern but welcoming and its amenities are everything a family of 4 could wish for: outdoor grill, lake frontage views, pier, fire pit, hot tub. Kids wanted to move in! Hadlock Pond does not deserve this price point

The property and home are very nice. The game room is separate from the main house and it is a unique space. I initially requested a house on Lake George for the weekend with the property manager but did not meet the minimum night stay requirement. I was subsequently up-sold on this location through a link that was provided by the property manager. Hadlock Pond is a very small body of water. I was able to kayak the entirety in 45 minutes. Throughout our stay the couple on the main floor complained of an odor, which was also present on the dock. It led us to believe there might be septic issues, which didn't inspire confidence in swimming. Lake George is in reasonable driving distance so we ultimately spent our afternoon there. If you are planning a trip because you want to spend time by a body of water, there are much better options at this price point.

So many stairs and septic odor.

The house itself is beautiful and very comfortable with ample room for a large family. The game room was fun for the kids to burn off some energy post dinner and pre breakfast- it is a nice additional feature that comes with the rental. During the stay there was an issue with the septic tank and a horrid odor that intensified after each shower, use of the plumbing. We were able to call the property manager who sent maintenance to add charcoal to the filter. The smell did subside but never truly went away and lingered. (An earlier review mentioned the same issue- the property managers were certainly aware of the problem.) The exterior of the property is all stairs- literally stairs to get from the driveway to the house and more stairs all of the way to the water. Most of the stairs in the back of the house facing the lake are not standard stairs. Some are deeper than others and waking down or up can be hazardous. If you have older family members I would not advise renting here. Additionally the deck is old and the nails are coming out of the wood- it was not great for kids running around bare footed. The exterior carpet on the deck is ripped as and the cushions for deck chairs were faded and dirty. The canopy above the top portion of the deck was loaded with cob webs which I know is common at the lake but at check in the patio should be clean- including the removal of cobwebs. The BBQ Grill was unusable and had not been cleaned prior to check-in. This was especially disappointing because we enjoy cooking out of doors at the lake. We were able to use the spa one time only because the septic smell was present when the water circulated- it seemed the odor was everywhere at times. Both fire pits were in poor shape- as were the chairs that surrounded both pits. No effort was made to clean the area- set the chairs, etc. The description for the property should include the extreme amount of stairs. The property manager should also make certain that the stairs are standard and safe- currently they are not. While the lakefront is very nice there is no sand beach entrance and the neighbors are very close. This was not of issue but when busy the waterfront to the right and left afforded very little privacy. Normally I would not have left such a detailed review but this property markets itself as a “luxury” rental. While there are a few nice touches the house is most definitely not a luxury rental. 3 of 5 stars!

Peaceful retreat

The property was located in a beautiful remote location on Hadlock pond. It was probably the most peaceful place we have ever spent time. Everyone in our group loved having coffee out on the deck overlooking the pond. The house was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Everything outside was perfect the dock, the firepit, the hot tub and the covered deck. The views from every room in the house were stunning. The only 2 negatives were that the interior living space was a little tight for our group of 9 adults and there were steps EVERYWHERE. I think you might want to add the steps to the description it made it a little difficult for someone with a bad knee to navigate the property, Overall we all enjoyed our week and if you are looking for an escape from life's chaos and stress this is the perfect retreat!

A beautiful house by the lake

Our family had a wonderful time staying at this property. The house was clean and both the house and the lake were beautiful. While communication was overall good with the property manager, some of the Northern Living association regulations were unexpected and frustrating. For instance, we could not get check in procedures prior to 1 hour before the stay and some of the extra fees (while indeed mentioned on the website) could have been more clear up front (for instance, $100 charge per pet, extra fee for canoeing which in the end was not allowed by Northern Living due to it being early in the season). Overall I would recommend the property, but would disclose this information more freely so that others are more prepared for the idiosyncrasies of the property association group up front.
