Charleston stay at Casa Zoe

Check in was seamless and property manager was able to let us check in a little early, which was a bonus. We were there for a bachelorette trip with 12 total girls, and we had everything we needed! Plenty of towels, washcloths, shampoos, etc. Kitchen was fully equipped with what we needed. Couldn’t have asked for a better house! Perfect location to everything as well.

Everything about this home was perfect for us! Our grandchildren loved sleeping on the third floor, and felt very snug and happy. We were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go - fabulous location!

This was one of the best & well managed places I have stayed at - the hosts were incredibly communicative & helpful throughout the entire process. Perfect for Golf trip of 8

This was our second time in the house, and once again it was terrific. The location is ideal, and the accommodations are perfectly suited for 8 adults. We were there on a guys' golf trip and give it very high marks. The front porch is a gem to kill time and tell stories over a beer.

This house is beautiful and so charming! It’s an easy walk to anything you’d need and the neighborhood felt very safe. The property manager was prompt and responsive. We had an issue with the oven and they were able to fix it right away. We will definitely keep this property in mind if we are back with a big group in the future!

Best Bachelorette

We were in town for a bachelorette weekend. There were 12 of us and this property was perfect! The owners were so accommodating to our needs, and excellent to communicate with. The listing was very accurate so our expectations were certainly met. This property is just a few blocks from King Street so everything we did was walkable or a $10 Uber drive. Also, the air conditioning worked GREAT which we appreciated as the weather was hot and humid!

Modern kitchen and bathrooms. Comfortable beds. Convenient location with dining within short walking distance. A bit further to walk into town but we did it several times.Historic building, I believe in National Register. As such, you want the mindset for staying in an older property. Sparrow House - Perfect in Everyway!

There were six women in the group visiting Charleston and Sparrow House was the "icing on the cake" during our time in the Holy City. The house is spacious and elegant. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms well stocked. We enjoyed sitting in the bright and open living room as we planned our day's events and at night for "happy hour" before heading out for the evening. Meg responded to my questions promptly and was very helpful. This truly is a wonderful place to stay.

50th Girls Birthday

Sparrow Hall was so lovely. We loved every square inch of the home and hated to leave. Eight women stayed comfortably. We drank coffee in the parlor each morning, we played games and drank wine around the dining table each night, and sat and rocked on the porch to decide what we see life looking like now that we’ve all turned 50! We imagined who all have slept here in the last 225 years, walked on those floors, touched the banisters and doorknobs. It was decorated beautifully. I’d love to come back and bring my entire family. Temperature was nice for the people on the third floor. Only thing to note for improvement is the hot water in the attic bathroom only gets hot if the sink hot water is running simultaneously. It took us a bit to figure that out.

Great house and historic neighborhood. We loved our stay.

We love Charleston and this was our Seattle-based family's third trip to the city. While we've rented houses on Folly Beach, this was the first time we've rented a house in Charleston proper. We're so glad we did! The Sparrow House absolutely captured the imagination of our kids. We have five kids between the ages of 12 and 22 and the sleeping arrangements were perfect. Just the right mix of shared space and rooms with privacy. We also had a great thunder and lightning storm one night and the kids had a perfect view high up under the eaves. Stevenson and Meg were awesome as property managers. We appreciated them giving us a call with a heads up on a maintenance issue before we checked in. They followed up immediately with answers to our questions and we couldn't have asked for better hosts. After staying at a brand new house on Folly Beach we appreciated the history and "lived in" bones of the Sparrow House. The neighborhood is lovely with several great restaurants and bakeries within easy walking distance. Note that there is currently a lot of construction going on in the neighborhood. We will gladly recommend the Sparrow House to our friends and family and we hope to return again soon!
