Just blocks from great hiking. Minutes into town. Our dog felt at home! Morning coffee by the pool waterfall. We were here for a month, it was perfect!

LaQuinta Get Away

The communication was great from the start. Easy check in process. Loved that we had a big car port. The house was exactly as described. The pool and hot tub and patio was our favorite. We spent a lot of time in the big hot tub!! Its close to Fritz Burns park where we play a lot of pickleball and tennis. Easy access to everywhere from here. I would recommend this place.

Avoid at all costs! I’m shocked this listing is still active. Communication before arrival was great, but on the day of check-in I was completely ghosted. Upon arrival, I found the pool was bright green, the locks were broken, and the closets were stuffed with storage. Thankfully, the VRBO staff was incredibly helpful and allowed me to cancel after seeing the property. Overall, this was extremely disappointing, please do not stay here.

Santa Rosa Cove

Just a few notes to future visitors. The pictures offered are a bit deceiving. The sofa pictured on the website is now a twin size bed matress with pillows and super uncomfortable; the barbeque has 1 working burner and seems to be falling apart; pool furniture is all crumbling apart and ripped. Pool and spa can only be heated and used at an additional cost. Two large beds in the bedroom (1 king and 1 queen) make the room very crowded and in order to get out of either bed one has to climb over their partner. The bugs were a problem inside the house; many bug bites from who knows where...possibly spiders. On the plus side the house is close to hiking trails and good to be near old town. Disappointed for sure; people should leave reviews.

GREAT LITTLE GETAWAY

My husband and I rented this house for the month of December 2019. The area in which the house is located is quiet and clean and close to all shopping. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils so we could cook our own meals along with use of a BBQ. There was plenty of linen and having the washer and dryer In the house was useful. The outside area was a pleasant place to relax and having two sizes of patio tables, one large and one small worked well for us as the large table was our puzzle table. The yard is enclosed with a wall fence for privacy with a double wide gate. The owner Liza is a lovely lady and made every effort to ensure we had a comfortable stay. We would definitely consider going back.

Wonderful!!

What a great time we had here. Nice, quiet residential neighborhood but close enough to all the Coachella Valley has to offer! The accomodations were perfect and exactly as described. Lisa, the owner, was great to spend time with and very helpful in suggesting some of her favorite things to do and see. We will be back again!

This property was all that we were looking for. It was comfortable, clean, had a full size kitchen and grill for all our cooking. We were lucky enough to have the owner there. Lisa was a great help in getting the hot tub up and running. We will stay there on our next trip to the desert. Thanks for everything Lisa.

I share my time between La Quinta and San diego. I moved out to the desert for the great feeling the mountains give, warm weather and La Quinta being a resort community . I enjoy that La Quinta has become a event destination, with activities including world renown music festivals ,tennis competitions, polo, Hunter Jumper, golf and lots of day pool parties at the various local resort.

Why they chose this property

This property is special in the Cove. It is one of the few properties on a double lot, larger pool for the area and compound experience with lots of privacy.
