Upon a Hill which commands one of the most stunning views of Tuscany stands the typical and beautiful ( rebuilt ) old stone country house " Fonte Migliari " ( 1820 / 2015 ), carefully rebuilt in 3 apartments, Antico - Bosco and Cervo, all with **airconditioning **, set in the fascinating hills with a splendid view of the whole valley of Volterra.
The large garden surrounds the great swimming pool ( 14 m x 7 mtr. ) with its stone terraces, with deckchairs and sunshades. All this is set in an extremely panoramic location, offering guests the opportunity to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing holiday. The location of the property offers tranquillity and privacy together with a unique panorama, but it is also a perfect base for making pleasant excursions to places in the surrounding area, such as the historic cities of FlORENCE, LUCA, PISA and SIENNA ( hardly more than an hour’s drive away ).

While sailing on the Mediterranean, we had a storm and sheltered in the port of Cecina. During our stay of four windy days, we make a round trip and arrived in the village of Montecatini val di Cecina and fell in love with this part of Tuscany. Summer 2000 we bought the ruin, looking for good craftsmen, authentic materials and after that, building has lasted six years. After construction was finished, we have given our company in the Netherlands to our staff and we are left to our paradise, for now we receive our guests.
