Excellent apartment in a wonderful location

We are regular visitors to this area but this was our first stay at Eucalyptus Apartments. We chose Condo Elia mainly because of its sea view and we were not disappointed. The apartment is at the front of this small complex, with just a very quiet service road between it and the sea. It overlooks the pool with the main room at first floor level and bedrooms on the ground floor. . We were greeted by Costas who took our cases and showed us around. He also gave us information about shopping and eating in the area. The cleanliness of the whole apartment was impeccable on our arrival. Cleaning ladies did two full cleans with fresh bedding and towels during our weeks stay. All fixtures and fittings were of very good quality. There was a small welcome pack ready for us and essential cleaning materials were provided. The layout of the apartment is excellent, with downstairs accommodation providing very private facilities for two couples. There is a screened corridor leading to one bedroom and shower room, while the other bedroom and full bathroom is totally separate. Both beds are queen size - one can be split into two singles. The main living area was large and very comfortable. All kitchen appliances were top quality and there was plenty of Crockett etc. The balcony furniture was substantial and comfortable and we enjoyed the view so much. The pool is unseated, but we found it to be an excellent temperature for cooling off after soaking up the sun. We had good weather with temps in the high 20s, which was great for late season. The area around the complex is quiet. There is a lovely shore side taverna just a few minutes stroll away, a children’s play area nearby and an excellent bakery and coffee shop. The pool area at the main hotel in the villager is open to visitors for drinks and snacks, and I’m sure that the pool too could be used by customers, although we did not do this. There is a mini-market in the village, but we used the larger (and cheaper) supermarket in Sami. Sami town is within walking distance - about 1.5 miles - along the shore path, or a short and easy drive on a quiet road. Bars, tavernas, shops and a harbour make this an ideal place for evenings. We thoroughly enjoyed our break and would recommend it to couples and families who enjoy peaceful, quality and uncomplicated surroundings in a beautiful setting where you are well cared for by very pleasant but unobtrusive managers.

Excellent!

We had a brilliant stay at this apartment - it’s really lovely and spacious. The balcony views of the sea (and Ithaca) are fantastic. We really enjoyed the swimming pool - it was never too busy, even in August. The staff who manage the apartments are so helpful and always available, which was great. The location is ideal for exploring the area. There’s also a little park very nearby, which the children really enjoyed.

Fantastic!

We had a very pleasant stay in Kefalonia. The apartment was great, huge, clean and everything needed was available. The washingmachine was broken but we could do the wash at the reception, so no problem. Very nice people there, and also the host was very kind and informed us about the enviroment and things to do. Swimming pool was great and there were enough sunbeds. Indeed, the bedrooms seems sometimes a little bit damp. But with the airco this became less. We would certainly recommend this apartment in Kefalonia

Beautiful Modern Apartment

We stayed at Condo Elia for 4 nights at the end of August 2018. We were met on arrival by Harry, our friendly informative host, he made us feel very welcome spending time to give us information about the apartment and local area. The apartment was very comfortable, spotlessly clean with everything provided to the last detail in the kitchen and bathrooms, the beds and sofas were also very comfortable. Our welcome pack included wine, handmade biscuits and jam, all excellent quality. The apartment is in a lovely position so close to the water's edge, we swam in the sea there as well as the pool. The well furnished shady verandah is comfortable for eating and reading, it does not get direct sun but other apartments in the complex do. We drove into Sami in the evenings, 5 - 10 minutes drive with easy parking. There is a good selection of tavernas with inexpensive meals and wine. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Condo Elia, Karavomylos and would like to stay there again when we return to the area.

Wonderful

From the start, communications were perfect and all queries answered promptly, including information about the resort. We were met by the apartments manager upon arrival and given a 'tour' of the apartment. He was exceptionally pleasant and very helpful. The accommodation was lovely, well decorated and furnished and kept very clean. Really liked that bikes were provided for our use. Best though was the sea view- just incredible. The manager was on hand throughout our stay and did a fantastic job in looking after us. Would thoroughly recommend.

Lovely Apartment

Good sized apartment lovely and clean. We walked into Sami a few times down the beach only took 20 minutes and a bar on the way. Also a 5 star hotel a couple of hundred metres away with lovely big pool which we used a few days as bought drinks at the bar.

Very Nice!

Our family of 5 stayed at this unit and had plenty of room. Our manager Harry greeting us upon arrival. There were some refreshments available upon our arrival; a welcome sight at 11:30 PM after 24 hours of travel! The well equipped kitchen and living area are on he upper level. Bedrooms were on the lower part (partial basement) of this unit and tended to be very damp feeling; we did finally remedy this by turning the heat on a bit to dry out the rooms. Was great to have a very small washer although clothes came out quite wet. Dry racks available.

Sehr schönes Appartement und sehr freundliche Vermieter

Ein sehr tolles Apartment direkt an einen kleinen Kieselstrand. Wir waren vier Nächte vor Ort und waren mit allem sehr zufrieden. Wir wurden persönlich von den Vermietern empfangen und haben viele Tipps für die kommenden Tage bekommen. Vor allem die Tipps für Strände und Restaurants waren sehr hilfreich. Die Wohnung ist gut eingerichtet mit allem was man benötigt. Der Balkon ist zwar nicht auf Süden ausgerichtet, für uns war das aber ideal. Da wir noch in der Vorsaison da waren hatten wir den Pool für uns ganz alleine. Die gesamte Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Die Straße zwischen den Appartements und dem Kieselstrand ist sehr ruhig, es waren kaum Autos, so dass man vom Balkon das Meerrauschen genießen kann.
