A stunning villa right on Freights bay with direct beach access from the terraced garden. A surfers paradise you will not want to leave with incredible views over the bay. Sleeping up to a max of 10 guests in beautiful air conditioned double bedrooms, 3 of which overlook the turquoise ocean. Wake up to spot turtles with breakfast on the balcony, watch the surfers who begin appearing at dawn or join them. Sit in the plunge pool and enjoy the sunset over the water. The open living area with the gentle tradewinds blowing through the dark wood and coral bricks allow you to enjoy the glorious tropical temperatures.
The additional separate covered dining area /pool table room overlooks the plunge pool and terraced lily ponds with the ocean beyond is a beautiful space to relax in.
The house is a few minutes drive to the nearest shopping precinct of Oistins where there is a daily fish market, supermarket, road side fruit and veg stalls, fast food outlets and rum bars and of course the famous Friday night Oistins fish fry is not to be missed.
Miami beach is a 10 minute walk and is a popular local spot for swimming.

Property manager John will meet you on arrival and will be available should you need advice during your stay. A concierge service can be provided as can attentive staff if required. (At additional cost).
Rates are based on 4 guests using the upper level of the house which include 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms, open plan living area and terraces. More than 4 guests are chargeable at US75pppn. Access will be available to more than 4 guest to the lower ground floor where there are two further bedrooms and a bathroom.
Housekeeping is an extra charge. Please ask upon booking.

Great home and a perfect location!We had an awesome vacation in Barbados at Capri! We had an extended family and the layout was great! Adults upstairs and teens downstairs. The view was spectacular and the surfing was perfect for the kids. We rented surfboards and the kids surfed at least once a day. The kitchen had everything we needed, although we ate out most of the time. Too many great restaurants! John, the manager, was very helpful and always quick to respond to any questions. Thank you for helping to make for a perfect vacation.

Great vacation spot! Walk out onto the porch each morning and watch the turtles swimming around! The surf place across the street was great. The house had everything you need. We cooked a few times and went out to close restaurants as well. Plenty of space. John, the house manager is a great help. I could stare at this view forever. (Bring a white noise machine if you are a light sleeper like me. The barbados whistling frogs can get loud)

Amazing family holiday in Freights Bay

We had an amazing family holiday at Capri House. The house had plenty of space and a great view over the turtles, surfers and sunset in the bay. The kids loved the splash pool. It was in a great location — we all surfed/bodyboarded in front of the house at freights bay, we frequently walked to Miami/Enterprise Beach (which is beautiful) and to lovely Cafe Luna. It was a short drive to Oistins Fish Market and to Carlisle Bay for some amazing snorkelling/diving.

Amazing Views of Freight’s Bay

This was our family’s second time staying at Capri House and it was even more magical this time!! The house is immaculate and perfect for multiple families. The views of Freights Bay were spectacular. The surf was breaking right out front. A perfect trip! We had the pleasure of meeting Victoria and her wonderful family! John the property manager was very accommodating and responded immediately to all emails. A perfect trip!!😊

This is a beautiful home, one that fit six adults with no problem. Nice great room blended with kitchen; nice upper and lower decks; soothing dipping pool; right on ocean. We enjoyed every bit of it. The owner was responsive to my many questions, since we had never been to Barbados before she was patient and kind. John, the house manager, was exceptionally available and helpful - a cheerful man who was helpful with things related to the villa as well as other things (we needed a doctor while there - we found an excellent clinic--on a Sunday! The place is quiet and solid, behind a locked gate. Beach is narrow, full of surfers. Our only wish is to have had a car. This home is about a 15 min walk from Oistins, where there is a Friday night fish fry, which we really enjoyed. You need a flashlight to walk at night - the road is narrow and there's little to no shoulder. We ate at Cafe Luna - lovely! We went to Massey's to buy food for cooking. We found a trivia night near Bridgetown. We also found pickleball at Savvy by the Bay, with many chances to play. While the buses are plentiful, they didn't come that close to this home, so we used uber and taxis, both of which were reliable. I highly recommend this villa for its amenities and beauty - a great place to relax.

Capri is Magical

My family of four truly enjoyed our stay at Capri. This house is beautifully built and thoughtfully decorated. The layout was perfect for us with 3 bedrooms, living area and kitchen all on the main level. We made good use of the pool house, plunge pool, private steps to Freight’s Bay, outdoor shower and both verandas facing the ocean. The location excellent for our needs, my husband and my two sons (age 11 and 16) went surfing with an instructor every day at nearby surf spots. We walked to Enterprise Beach for easy swimming and spotted monkeys often. Oistins is walkable if you’d like to experience a small fishing village with open air fish market and authentic food stalls serving fresh fish. John the property caretaker put us in touch with a great boat captain who took us fishing and snorkeling. We rented a car and were able to park right in front of the house. We felt very safe and comfortable in the house. We will miss falling asleep to the sound of waves, waking up to hummingbirds outside the kitchen window and watching turtle heads pop up in Freight’s Bay as we sat on the veranda. Capri is a magical place!

Beautiful home

Really enjoyed staying at The Capri house. Communication with the owner was excellent. Warm welcome and warm hospitality of John, the Property Mgr. Location is right on Freights Bay, we surfed most days. Home is beautifully decorated, provided a nice and comfortable place to relax after a day of exploring the island. Excellent home with enough room for multiple families. Less than 5 minute drive to South Point surf break. Property manager John was very attentive and housekeeping was very nice mid week. Oistens fish fry is always fun and the surf cafe was a favorite place to eat. Barry’s surf school had great long boards to rent-a must for freights.

Beautiful home on Freights Bay with amazing views!

Loved the house and location! Direct beach access from house to swim and surf. Enjoyed listening to the sound of ocean waves crashing on the beach from every room in the house and the view from the balcony was beautiful! Watching the sea turtles and sunset from the balcony was very relaxing. The house was clean and very spacious. Plenty of room for four adults and three teenaged children. Victoria was very responsive to my inquiries before our arrival and Sharon and Natasha were very friendly and accommodating upon our arrival. The food was great at all the restaurants and all had water views. Cafe Luna, Cafe Sol and Primo Bar and Bistro were our favorites. My son surfed South Point and Soup Bowl and we all surfed Freights Bay and Brandens/Drill Hall. Miami/Enterprise beach, Mullins Beach and Crane Beach were great beaches to visit too. We also spent a day on a Catamaran boat in which we fed the turtles, snorkeled and swam. A great vacation and we look forward to returning to Capri on our next visit to Barbados!

Comfortable and spacious villa on Freight's Bay

We enjoyed our stay at the villa very much. The living space is large and comfortable and the main level deck provides spectacular views. John the property manager was extremely attentive and helpful. The villa has direct beach access and is a short walk from Miami Beach as well. Lovely spot to stay on the south coast.

We love Freights and the villa is a watermans dream with access to the beautiful Freights bay surf perfect for long boarding/ paddle surfing and beginners learning to surf. The kite surfing beach is only a 5 min drive away. With the warm turquoise Caribbean Sea with turtles popping up around you there is no better place to be.

Why they chose this property

The villa blew us away the first time we walked inside and I am sure it will do the same for you. The coral walls, dark wood and comfort of the high spec interior and the sheer ease of surfing from the house with no loading surfboards in cars or trekking around to find the surf make it a surfers dream-it is here right on the doorstep.
