About this property

Beautiful Condo on the Beach


Just renovated! New cabinets, SS appliances, kitchen island.
This is a beautiful, quiet, relaxing condo in a desirable, safe ocean front community. This 2 bedroom/1 bathroom condo has recently been renovated and is located in The Diplomat Condominium Complex. We are only 1 mile South of the World-Famous Ron Jon Surf Shop, in one of the best locations in Cocoa Beach. We are within walking distance of so many great restaurants, parks, shopping, and bars. The condo is a second-floor end unit, which makes it a very quiet location.

The Oceanfront condo complex has a private gated boardwalk (see photo above - the condo is only a few steps away from the boardwalk), a community recreation center, shuffleboard and tennis courts, laundry facilities, a heated pool with club house (see photo above). The community has just completed construction on a covered picnic area with an outdoor charcoal BBQ. We also have great views of any rocket launches from the beach. The night launches are FANTASTIC!

The Diplomat Condominium Complex is located Ocean side just off of A1A, directly across the street and within easy walking distance to a grocery store (Publix, across the street). There is no need to drive once you arrive. We are minutes from local attractions such as Kennedy Space Center. Only 60 minutes away from Disney World, Sea World and Universal Studios.

Our complex has a strict pet policy. Only 1 pet per condo, 25lbs and under. Cocoa Beach does not allow pets on the beach. There is a great dog park very close to our condo at Lori Wilson Park.

What a wonderful location of thiz cozy condo! Has all essentials and even a little slow cooker which I enjoyed using. 2 min walk to the beach, lots of stores and restaurants walking distance away. We loved staying here, the condo is perfect for 2 adults and 2 kids, clean and exactly like the pictures. The communication with the host was easy and very pleasant, and she was available before and during our stay. The beach was very calm, not too many people which was exactly what we were looking for. Great Family Cabin

We loved our stay at Darcy’s cabin. It was very family friendly, with 30+ board games, a media center, lots of space, and a kitchen well-stocked with any appliance you could ever want or hope for to. Ok family meals. Darcy was easily accessible to communicate with during our stay, which included a giant snowstorm.

Great location to play variety of golf courses. Easy beach access and condo met our needs with both my boys being in their 20’s. Only thing I would change is upgrade to grills on property. Would change to gas grills. Difficult to continue to buy brick eyes often when wanting to grill every day. Gas grill much more easy to navigate and prepare cooked meat quicker. All in all a reasonable price to hang your hat at night and be out and about during the day

This condo had everything you need for a great time. Comfortable furniture, well stocked kitchen and washer/dryer combo. Just a short walk to the beach through the complex. It has all the beach equipment you may want plus kiddie equipment. The condo even has three TVs. It’s decorated in a cute beach theme with plenty of linens and towels for your convenience. The owner is so helpful throughout your stay. Grocery stories and every convenience just a short walk away. We loved it

Condo Stay

The property was just as described in the listing. The condo was clean and well finished. Its location to the beach was less than a football field and the pool and other outside amenities we awesome as well. Liz, who owns the condo, was excellent to deal with throughout the whole process! She answered any questions I had and even went out of her way to make sure our stay was a great experience for my family and me. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the Coco Beach area! My family and I look forward to staying here again in the future!

Better than expected!

What a lovely surprise....this 2 bedroom/1 bath was so quiet and clean with really comfortable beds which was perfect for my husband and I who are a retired couple. Located on 2nd floor (no elevator)at the end of the building which is a 2 story building. The gate to the private beach was a very short walk and seemed so private.

House was perfect for our Christmas getaway. Pool is listed as heated, but was a little chilly (nothing to do with actual condo). Also pool closes at dusk which with being winter made for short swimming time frames. My only complaint was all the outlets seemed loose and the chargers kept falling out.

Good location close to the beach

While this property doesn't have any beach views, it is located on the second floor and is an end unit, so it tends to be quiet. We were there for two weeks and rarely heard our neighbors. Even though it's an older building, the owners had it nicely decorated. The queen bed in the master was very comfortable. The HVAC system is old but still functional. There are only a few ducts in the unit, but you can turn on the fans for additional air movement. The directions on how to access the unit were easy to follow and were sent out ahead of time. The beach is just a short walk away and is a great walking beach!

the Owner does not care

We rented the appartment for 1 month during the hurricaine Irma. We where not allowed to stay in the area for four days, and when we came back from our hotel stay in Orlando, we had big problems to find a place to stay. We had no help from the owner! There was no water and no electricity. No hotells where open in Cocoa, even though our owner of the appartment told us so. We stayed in the appartment for two days with no electricity before one hotel opened in Cocoa. We had to pay for another two nights! On day nine the electricity came back, but even though we told the owner that the television did not work she did not do anything about it. Refound for the days we where not able to stay in the appartment we nerver received! No compensation for not working television! What we have here is a owner who just care for the money and not for the persons who rents the appartment. We where a long way from home in a foreign country, scared with no help! We are from Sweden.

I am a true Floridian, born and raised. I purchased this condo in 2002 as an escape from Orlando. We decided to rent it and share our relaxing get-away with our VRBO friends. It is such a treat to feel the ocean breeze, smell the ocean air and be away from it all on vacation. No worries...We hope you feel the same way after staying at the Diplomat.

Why they chose this property

The location is perfect. The semi-private beach access is just a few steps away from your front door. The gated beach entry is for Diplomat guests only. After soaking up the sun, its always nice to take a refreshing dip in the pool! The condo is located within walking distance of a grocery store, restaurants, cold drinks, live music, tiki bar, and parks.
Our unit is in the middle of the beachfront complex. We are located just a few steps away from the beach to the east and the community pool to the west. Google Earth the property for an overview of The Diplomat Complex and Cocoa Beach landmarks. 3150 N. Atlantic Avenue, Cocoa Beach FL 32931.

What makes this property unique

The property is safe, secure and well maintained. The Diplomat is one of the nicest condominium complexes in Cocoa Beach.
Our beach is a great spot to check out the SpaceX rocket launches!
