Great location

We enjoyed our stay and appreciated being able to have our dog. The location was perfect. Just around the corner from the Wanna Wanna. It was nice to have a private patio with the pool right in front of us. The host was nice and very communicative.

Great Location w/Nice Patio

Then location was a short walk from the beach. The actual condo door location was perfect for loading and unloading you car because it was right off of the parking lot. There weren't alot of other guests during our stay, so we had the pool area all to ourselves. The pool itself was located right off of the patio, and it could be seen from inside the condo.

The host, Molly was amazing. She accommodated us as they were repairing the original unit we were supposed to stay in. Very clean, our doggies loved it and we would stay again!!!

Time spent for a birthday

Wow we loved the place clean but Victor said we could only have up to 8 people at a time. He told us that2 people would have to go? They came to visit and not stay the night. The hot Tub was not heating the pool was cold

The best view ever. Would recommend everyone to stay. Waking up to having coffee on patio near pool. Comfy beds fiot sure. Pretty amazing time spent there. Quick and accessible to beach and downtown main strip of food and shops. Highly recommend on taking the visit.

Definitely enjoyed our time there. Only issue was the washer has been broken for over a year.

Everything went smooth. Except washer should not be in the advertising if it doesn't work. It was really inconvenient to go to the other end of the building to do laundry. And there is only 1 washer and 1 dryer on the main floor . I would love to come back.

Great location!

This is a nice location. It's quiet, a block away from the beach and has 2 great pools. The condo is great because the pool is right next to it. Lots of dishes if you're cooking, good fridge and plenty of space for everyone. The only concern I had was the dust on the vents and ceiling fan. I wasn't thrilled looking at it during our stay. Whomever is cleaning needs to look up at times. All in all the location , space and pool makeup for this ! Would definitely use it again . Thank you!

Great place to stay!

It was just as the pictures showed! The pool was right outside the porch so we could keep an eye on the older kids without having to be there. The place was clean, the manager nice, a short walk to the beach… just a very nice place. We plan to go again and hope to stay there again. Thank you for a great stay!

My only complaint was that there was no toilet tissue, no extra sheets for the pull out sofa and only 4 towels when I had said there were 5 guests. There should always be plenty of these things available

Our Five Weeks in SPI

My husband and I spent five fantastic weeks at Villa del Sol. The location was perfect; close to a wonderful beach access and a very quiet area. Molly, the condo owner, was so easy to communicate with and Victor, the condo manager, made check in quick and painless. In addition, my husband had a medical emergency, while on our vacation,, and Molly was so helpful. This was our dream vacation and we couldn’t have been happier with our entire experience..

Terrible

Took 45 mins to get keys. Apparently you need to print your own forms out before you get there. Terrible experience checking in. TVs didn’t work, WiFi didn’t work, dirty dishes in dishwasher, grill was nasty. Overall experience the worst I have ever experienced. Never again will I go back to this place!

Villa del Sol for a Month

Condo was in great location; ground floor by really nice pool/spa and a short walk to beach. Kitchen was well equipped, bedrooms were comfortable. Washer/drying in unit but washer doesn't work. Gas grill on patio doesn't work well. The condo complex was really nice and well maintained. Parking was near the door and convenient.

Both Good and Bad

READ ALL RULES VERY VERY CAREFULLY! The good: the price, size, pet friendly and location. Great price for the location 3 minute walk to appropriate beach access, very spacious. Owner did communicate promptly when I reached out. Unit has a pool view. The bad: very strict rules, very rude down right harassing property manager. Please be sure and read all the rules VERY VERY thoroughly. Very limited number of people to have over to visit, not stay, just visit. Property manager made us feel very very unwelcomed and approached us downright aggressively the first day. After that we never saw him again. Dirty dishes, no dish soap and dirty coffee pot with old coffee grounds still in it for I don't know how long and very few and thin cheap bath towels, refrigerator door did not close properly but kept everything very cold. No shampoo, no soap.

I own two condos in this complex. My family loves to come here so we often need two units. This is the one I rent out when not in use by family and friends.

Why they chose this property

We loved this location and this complex. I have been going to South Padre Island for many years. It never gots old! So plan to fall in love with the Island and come again.

What makes this property unique

Very nice unit in a quite complex close to the beach with two pools. The patio opens right up to the pool area and the grounds are very tropical. This complex has the most palm trees of any complex on the island - so if you like to hear the wind blow - this is the unit for you!
