We are currently booking for 2026!

HOUSE DESCRIPTION: Spacious and modern 2,400 sq. ft. house, located just 2/10th of a mile from Scarborough Beach (4 MINUTE WALK). CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING. SEVEN (7) BEDROOMS (3 upstairs and 4 down, each with QUEEN OR KING SIZE BEDS). One large 22-foot bedroom downstairs has a couch, coffee table, desk and a TV to serve as a 2nd family room for the kids. There are 5 total TV's in the house, each with smart capability (i.e. Netflix/Hulu/Disney/Amazon Prime, Etc.). All bathrooms were recently updated with new floors and vanities. New flooring throughout.

UPPER LEVEL: OPEN FLOORPLAN - KITCHEN, DINING, LIVING ROOM surrounded by windows and sunlight. New furniture includes new kitchen table set and all new living room furniture. The kitchen is fully stocked with all you need to entertain, and the counters were recently updated with white quartz. Everyday appliances, cookware, tableware included, and there are TWO REFRIGERATORS, for extra storage.
A full glass slider door in the main living area leads you to a 26x10 foot deck with 3 patio sets with umbrellas for plenty of outdoor seating. The WEBER GAS GRILL is hooked up directly to the house so you never run out of cooking gas. Down the hall from the main living area you’ll find 3 bedrooms and a full bath with tub/shower.

LOWER LEVEL: includes 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (1 full, 1 half). In addition, one of the downstairs bedrooms has a vanity with sink in the room for extra convenience. One of the oversized bedrooms downstairs also has an exterior door for easy entry/exit and is set up as an additional family/TV room. The lower level also includes a laundry room with full size washer/dryer and an iron and ironing board.

The house has 2 DRIVEWAYS for parking, which can accommodate 7+ cars. Outside you’ll find an ENCLOSED OUTDOOR SHOWER WITH HOT WATER. BEACH CHAIRS and BEACH TOYS are also provided free of charge.

Only a 4-MINUTE WALK TO THE BEACH through this quiet neighborhood and you’ll be at the south end facility of Scarborough Beach, which offers concession stands, bathrooms, showers, shaded areas, Del’s Lemonade, etc. There is no charge to walk on the beach!

Just a short walk from the house you can reach ice cream, pizza, church, convenience store, breakfast/lunch restaurant and the beach. Very short drive to Block Island Ferry, Pt Judith Lighthouse, Iggy's and Aunt Carrie's chowder house and ice cream, Black Point, Galilee, shops, Narragansett Towers and Beach, and Newport. This house is always well kept with a professional cleaning done between all tenants.
Sheets and towels are available for an extra charge of $250. Please specify in your reservation.

This house rents out quickly so book now; several prime weeks have already been booked. Many renters at this house become repeat tenants every summer.

We require a 7-night minimum stay between the end of June and end of August with check in/out on Saturdays at 3pm/10am. Please check the calendar for availability. Thank you and enjoy!

Fantastic Beach Stay!

Beautiful, well-appointed house! Fantastic location, lots of room for the 4 adults and 5 kids on our trip. We used the deck every day and loved having an outdoor shower that was sunny and useable. We stayed there before the renovations - it's a huge improvement!

Perfect location, great property

This property was perfect for our needs. The open layout is amazing for large groups to hang out, and plenty of bedrooms for everyone to crash comfortably at night. The kitchen is well-appointed and had everything we needed. And having two fridges for such a large group was a game-changer. Loved being able to walk to the beach everyday!

Great rental!

This was a great home for our family trip to Narragansett. There was tons of room to spread out for our family. The walk to the beach was an easy trek, but I imagine once the South entrance is opened up (we went in early June) it's even quicker and easier! The beach is great and you even get a glimpse of the ocean from the house!!

This house was perfect for our large group. I appreciated how communicative the host was and how the house was sparkling clean! The two refrigerators in the kitchen is genius! One for drinks and one for food. We also used the beach equipment and it was really helpful! Can't wait to stay again!

This property fit all our needs. Seven bedrooms allowed all of my family to have separate bedrooms .

Wonderful experience! Plenty of sleeping space, plenty of entertaining space, plenty of hot water! The easy walk to Scarborough Beach was a highlight of the trip!

Great Beach House

The pictures don't do justice to this house. We decided to have a big family vacation which included 7 adults and 4 children. There was more than enough room for everyone to spread out and have fun. The location is great. A quick walk/scooter ride to the beach. Close by the grocery store, restaurants, mini golf, coffee shops, etc. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans, 2 fridges. We cooked almost every night and also baked a couple times. Everything we needed was there. And most important we knew that if anything came up Joanne was just a phone call away.

Love it

This is the 2nd house we've rented from Joanne and both houses (greenbrier and st james) met our needs exactly. The location is perfect - a short walk to the beach, even for my 3 yr old! We had 4 families and plenty of room. The open family room/kitchen area was the perfect backdrop for game night and we watched a lightening storm from the deck off the kitchen. We saw fireworks on 2 different beaches, caught the ferry to Block Island and had dinner at Aunt Carrie's - all the traditional RI expeniences. A fantastic week weather wise was just complemented by a comfortable, clean home away from home... Joanne is great to work with, and we will definitely rent from them again.

Awesome!

My boyfriend and I just got back from an awesome week renting this house. There were 6 in our family that stayed all week, and this house had MORE than enough room. The bedrooms were very nice and spacious and the whole house had a nice homey feel to it. The location couldn't have gotten any better. It's so close to the beach, about a 5-7 minute walk, and to the grocery store, shops, great restaurants, block island ferry. We had an awesome week and have already talked about renting from Joanne again next vacation!

Beachhouse

My family and I have had the pleasure of renting this beautiful home for the last 7 years. It is spacious enough for a family of 12, as well as for friends that look forward to yearly visits. The house is always well maintained from extra pillows to a stock pot to cook the fresh lobsters bought right off the local docks. There are so many different things to do, we have taken trips to Block Island and Newport, taken bike rides along the ocean, played tennis, gone fishing and enjoyed many local restaurants. I would highly recommend this home.

Wonderful vacation house

This property was perfect for our family, which had 13 members. It was very clean and spacious and all the appliances were new. The layout of the kitchen and family room gave us plenty of room to spread out and not be crowded. And the 6 bedrooms with queen size beds were great. We loved staying here.
