Located directly on a private beach, Ariel is a custom-built, family-owned home in Terramar Beach in the lovely West End of Galveston. This house will give you and your family all that you need to get away from it all or to at least have a beautiful resting place after a day out on the sea wall and historic downtown Galveston. kitchen remodeled December 2024 with new cabinets and appliances. Directly decorated by the owners, your family and guests will enjoy tranquil themes and ocean views from both inside and outside the house. Covered deck on the 1st., with an unblocked view of the Beach and the Gulf of Mexico.
Sleeping up to 15, this house was made for family vacations and entertaining. It has two master bedrooms with king size beds in each of them, making it perfect for group vacations; 2 full bathrooms, a half bathroom completely detached for convenient use by guests in the living room kitchen area, and two private decks boasting of beach views. This is all on top of having views of the ocean from top to bottom of the house.
Since you'll be able to step directly onto the beach and set up your things, the house also has an outdoor shower to easily wash away the sand as you enter in and out of the house. The kitchen and main shared area has stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops and a total maritime atmosphere that will welcome you at the kitchen while watching the beach.
In the living room make wonderful memories both day and night. After a wonderful day in the sun, take a seat at the couch and enjoy your favorite movie with a 55" Flat Screen TV or enjoy a board game at our large, wooden kitchen table perfect for conversing and dining around.
Parking available for up to seven vehicles on a private driveway but of course you can park more in front on the private feeder road into the house.
If you ever want to leave the private beach for some sight seeing and tourist activities, you're around 20 minutes driving distance from Galveston's famous Pleasure Pier, Seawall, and Historic Strand. Our family personally loves The Spot for food and the Strand for beautiful sight seeing of antique shops, ice cream vendors, and candy shops! Post Office street also boasts a number of coffee shops and art galleries with works of art on sale. There is also a beautiful, boutique tea and coffee shop called Sugar Bean located only 20 minutes away driving.

The house is in a stellar location with direct access to the beach. The house came stocked with everything you need for the beach and the to cook inside. We enjoyed our time and will be back!
Amazing location! The kiddos loved digging on the beach, hunting for crabs and building sandcastles. Everyone loved sitting out on the balcony to watch the sunset. We would definitely return and stay there again; the direct beach location can't be beat!
Absolutely perfect. Location is perfect for a quiet beach getaway. It is almost as if we had a private beach. The house is clean well maintained. Very fresh. The kitchen is great updated and has more than adequate utensils pots and pans. Large dining table. An extra bathroom downstairs makes it very convenient. Two living spaces one downstairs and the other upstairs gives everyone space. Air conditioning works great a keeps the home comfortable. Outdoor spaces are clean and comfortable. Great breeze and views. Definitely will return.

This is the 2nd year we have stayed at the Ariel Beach House. It is perfect for our family. Beach is steps away. The manager, Pablo, is very accommodating and responded quickly to our questions.
Overall stay was good and the accessibility to the beach is awesome. The house was clean and instructions were good, other than trying to lock the doors, thats a little tricky, but a quick text and response helped out. Would recommend
Great location and area with a semi private beach that you can walk directly onto from the house. Only visited with my family of 3 so was huge for us but we enjoyed it. The patio has great views and very relaxing. Owner/Prop Mgr is very good at communication. Highly recommend!
We spent our holiday here with family and everything was great! The house is everything we hoped for, with a perfect view, easy beach access, fully stocked kitchen, comfy beds, and plenty of room. Loved the open layout and large kitchen table, family could all eat together. I had a couple questions before the trip and response was very quick. We will definitely be returning.
The house is very nice and nicely furnished. Plenty of room for 8 adults, 1 young adult, 3 teens, and 1 preteen.

The home exceeded our expectations—it was beautifully updated, spacious, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. With six adults, two teens, and two small kids, we had more than enough room to relax and enjoy ourselves.The location is unbeatable—right on the beach with no street to cross, just steps from the sand. The covered porch and direct beach access were absolute must-haves for us, and this property delivered on both. The beach was clean, the views were stunning, and the entire stay felt peaceful and private.The property manager was also fantastic—responsive, helpful, and truly committed to making our stay great.We’re already looking forward to booking our next trip. Highly recommend!
Large and cozy house, perfectly located. Great dinner table to have everybody eat together in front of stunning view.
The only thing that could be improved is the kitchen équipement. For such a large number of people this house can welcome, you have limited options. Also not entirely clean kitchenware and bbq.
We had a family gathering here and had a wonderful time. House is setup for ease of use for multiple families and adults and kids. 2 den areas and great view from the 2 decks. It was literally less than 100 ft to the beach. Pablo was always available at a moments notice for any question. Best recommendation is that "we will be back"!

Annual Labor Day Vacay
The location was great. The property was right on the beach. The mosquitoes were absolutely put of control. We spent literally $100 of mosquitoes sprays in order to be able to walk to the beach and use the grill. The house is in desperate need of a makeover!! There was rust everywhere.

Very sorry to hear about the mosquitos but that is one of Galveston Island problems experienced by thousands of travellers every year. The House is kept in an annual rigorous maintenance program that includes painting, air conditioning, electrical issues and plumbing issues. That is why we have so many five stars reviews. We use stainess steel fasteners on all the decks and staircases outside. Yes you will find a few nuts and bolts outside that are rusted but never exposed to the guest touch. After all this beach house and hundreds of other beach houses have that same similarity; being surrounded by a salty enviroment. Have a wonderful Fall and thank you for your review.
