We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! We brought our dog and she had her first ride in one of the kayaks provided. We had fun going out on the paddleboat. The beds were comfortable, we had everything we needed in the kitchen including a crockpot and an electric griddle, and plenty of hot water. Communication with our host was excellent! We went to 5 state parks and other local hikes including finding the Dambo trolls in Detroit Lakes and Frazee and enjoyed the sunrise and sunset over Lake Ethel. We met a couple neighbors and they were very nice as well!We would definitely stay here again.

It was a very clean cute cabin close to the lake. The neighborhood was quiet. We had a restful time. We enjoyed canoing and sitting on the deck! The cabin heater made it feel cozy during the Fall evenings and mornings. Although we checked out some local eateries, we had everything we needed for our long weekend away. The host was responsive and made the check-in and out very easy. We also visited and biked at two state parks. If we stay in the area again, we will stay here!

Cutest little cabin ever. You step out the door onto a patio and then into the lake. Amenities that are provided our excellent. Communication with host was also excellent. Will definitely go back!

Lakefront in Ottertail County MN! This listing is fabulous because it's directly on the water with no elevation! Terrific deck--we spent most of our days and evenings enjoying the lake views and sunshine! The home is clean and well-stocked. The air conditioner, fast Wifi and easy host-communication were the highlights for us (besides that terrific view!). We'll be back next year!

We had a wonderful time. The cabin was very clean and homey. Kitchen had what we needed for cooking meals. Do recommend bringing your own spices and cooking oil or spray for cooking. As they only have the basics like salt and pepper. The outdoor patio chairs could use help as the mesh on them definitely show sun damage, the picnic table on the other hand was very sturdy and appeared to be fairly new. All and all we had a wonderful time and enjoyed the different water toys available to tour around the lake. Will definitely be considering staying again.

Perfect Summer Getaway!

Our family of five had a wonderful week at this cabin! The cabin was very clean and the lake was beautiful! The beach was sandy and the water was clear! We enjoyed the kayaks, canoe and paddle boat daily and of course spent many hours just floating on the lake. Bruce was very welcoming and friendly during our stay. We will definitely rent this cabin again.

Ethel Get-Away 2023

We had a very good time. Very nice, clean cabin & the lay out was convenient for the 2 of us. Close to the Lake with beautiful scenery. The Hosts are very nice people. Would recommend this cabin.
