'Lazy Dayz' is a one bedroom apartment which is part of our home with it's own separate entrance and patio. It is a bright, modern and spacious accommodation with a full kitchen, lounge and dining area. We are located on the very pretty Glenora Road which is away from the hustle and bustle of Picton Main Street, but only a 2 minute drive away. There you can enjoy various bars and restaurants such as the new Royal Hotel, The Acoustic Grill, Hank's Lonesome, Beau Bistro, 555 Brewing Company and Hartley's Tavern. You can explore various Gift shops, Ice-Cream shops, Bakeries ....... the list goes on! Lake on the Mountain and other wineries and breweries are only a short drive away, or you can head to Sandbanks Provincial Park which is only 15 minutes drive. Base 31 (a former WWII air training base) which now holds daytime and nighttime events is only a 5 minute drive.

Although we live on site we respect your privacy 100%, but are always available if you need us.

This a self catering apartment - no food, or cleaning services are included during your stay. The BBQ and outdoor furniture are available from June until September only.

A 4% Municipal Accommodation fee is payable to Prince Edward County. This is shown as the host fee in the price details. STA Licence ST-2019-0054 R2

No smoking or vaping. Sorry we cannot accommodate children or pets.
A small dog lives on the premises. She is a Havanese named Daphne who is very friendly.

Due to licensing regulations by Prince Edward County, we are not allowed to accommodate more than 2 guests at any time (including day visitors) . Non-compliance of these regulations could result in our STA license being revoked.
Additional guests will be asked to leave the premises. Evidence of any additional guests after your stay, will result in an additional charge of $50 per extra person, per night.

Please note there is active video surveillance of the driveway.

Comfortable and quiet, but close to everything we wanted

We were able to enjoy conservation areas, shopping and dining that were all only a few minutes away. Free Netflix was a nice touch.

Relaxing Weekend Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at Lazy Dayz. The listing is perfectly accurate, check-in was smooth and we had no issues at all. Joanne and Michael were fantastic hosts and the delicious ginger cake was a thoughtful bonus! We would happily recommend this listing to any couple going to Picton.

A Needed Getaway

A 45-minute drive to anywhere in The County and just minutes from downtown Picton. It's also cozy enough inside if you have to stay in with a well-appointed kitchen and luxurious finishes. The hosts were prompt, delightful, and very helpful.

Enjoyable Weekend

We enjoyed our stay. Joanne welcomed us on our arrival and gave a concise overview of the unit. She even baked a ginger cake. The unit was clean and comfortable for my wife and I. We had a lovely time visiting local markets and exploring Prince Edward county.

A perfect little apartment for a stay in Prince Edward County, furnished with all I needed for a comfortable stay. I enjoyed the outdoor space with water views which was a great spot for a book and glass of wine. Nice location, close to Picton, wineries and beaches. We have lots of returning guests who book directly, stay for multiple weeks at a time, and certainly do not consider Lazy Dayz to be a 'budget accommodation' , rather a clean, comfortable place to stay offering good value for money. We are sorry that your stay with us only warranted a 3* review, but appreciate that every guest has different expectations. Take care and we hope that when you next visit PEC the sun is shining.

Why they chose this property

We are located on the very pretty Glenora Road which boasts stunning views of Lake Ontario. Although we are very close to town, we like where we are because it's away from the hustle and bustle and a short drive to anywhere. 2 minutes drive from the main town of Picton, 10 minutes drive from the gift shops in Bloomfield, 20 minutes drive from the quaint village of Wellington and only 15 minutes drive from the beaches.
