While the property is promoted as an excellent couples getaway (and for my wife and I, it was), this property is an excellent getaway period for just to get away from the "rat race". The amenities (especially the snacks) were definitely on point. Furnishings were accommodating, even for our physical limitations. The neighborhood is very peaceful. Neighbors are friendly and welcoming. You are footsteps from quiet spots to enjoy the lake. We interacted with locals who were very quick and open to share the beauty of Vermilion. Coming from a small Ohio village this community was extremely accommodating. It's obvious Patrick and MC are putting a lot of thought into how they can provide guest with the best experience. Pro tip: If you plan to go into town and enjoy the libations, be aware that the State Troopers run OVI checkpoints east of the bridge which crosses the river until 10p. You will be located east of the bridge. After 10 do not feel you have dodged a bullet because law enforcement is watching and they are very serious. Also, if you plan to rent

We stayed with friends for a weekend getaway. The property was so clean and the view was amazing. We had a wonderful time and the accommodations were exactly like in the picture. Everything went so smoothly and we loved the location. Will stay there again next year!!
