Quinta Al Bustan is a modern, spacious and comfortable home on a beautiful small farm just outside of Sintra, home with 3 suites available for rent. There are views of the Serra from the kitchen, living room and back garden, and all the magic of Sintra, an UNESCO World Heritage site, with its natural beauty, Moorish Castle, many palaces and monasteries, is only 4 KM away. We have a special love for animals and keep chickens, ducks, geese, guinea fowl and rabbits; we have 3 lovely dogs that live outside. The property is a short drive to the coast, with Praia das Maçãs, Magoito, Praia Grande, S. Julião all easily accessible for surf or a family day out, around 9 or 10 Km. The Palace of Queluz and the Convent of Mafra are also close.
We are only a short distance from Lisbon, so you have easy access to all of the culture while truly being able to relax and savor the Portuguese life.

Teresa and Jorge are welcoming, friendly hosts who have much to share. Having lived and worked both in and outside of Portugal, they delight in sharing their beautiful home and country with visitors.
Make sure to inquire about the opportunity to view the stars through Jorge's backyard observatory, and to have a custom cooking lesson with Teresa, a master chef!
