Great vacation!!!

We’ve been vacationing at Pinnacle Port for nearly 40 years and always enjoyed our stay. This year was especially memorable. It was just my wife and I and the condo was perfect for us. Very clean with a fantastic view. We plan to return soon.Owner was simply the best we’ve dealt with during our time at Pinnacle Port.

Most peaceful vacation ever

Me and my husband really enjoyed ourselves. Everything was nice and clean included all the amenities with a nice view. Very relaxing. Host was really attentive. He was always there if we had any questions or concern. Great location near peir park. Near by pharmacy and grocery store. Also enjoyed a new pirate 4 course dinner show. We are already looking forward to coming back and have already recommended this place to our family and friends.

We travel to Panama City Beach every year for vacation. This year we stayed at Pinnacle Port this year and it was great. The condo was just as pictured and the view of the beach was fabulous . The owner Phil was absolutely a delight speaking with. He made sure to communicate with us on everything. The cleanliness was very good and also had everything you would need away from home. Can’t wait to go back next year.

Great Family Facility

Stayed a Pinnacle Port for years. Gated security away from some of the crowded beaches. Great family environment with activities for all the family such as fishing, tennis, shuffleboard, basketball half court, and the beach is only 50 yards from the elevator. Also love the grills. Stay in the B and C buildings if you can.Phillip is an outstanding host if you need a one bedroom condo. Have stayed in two and three bedrooms in previous years with family.

Great Condo, Resort, and Location

Our family enjoyed our stay at this condo. Great views from both sides: ocean view from the balcony and view of Lake Powell from the front door. The resort is gated and we felt safe walking and biking at night around the resort and the Carillon community. We walked from the condo to the Carillon General Store to rent bikes; their prices are reasonable. The condo is beachfront and so convenient, steps to the beach. The location is perfect: tucked away from the hustling and bustling but close proximity to fine dining and shopping from Inlet Beach to Seaside, as well as the East side of PCB. We will be back for sure. BTW, Phillip the owner was very nice and responsive our needs. Thank you, Phillip!!

This property has the best view we have had. Condo is clean and well supplied. The balcony has a bar height table and chairs? Which is perfect for coffee and dolphin watching. Thanks Phil, for n awesome vacation.

We enjoyed our week here and hope to be back soon! Phillip was very helpful ahead of time, answered texts quickly, and followed up after the trip to make sure we had a good experience and made it back home. It was great to find a place that was not in the middle of the PCB crowds but that was still near enough to get there pretty quickly.

Hi David, we appreciate your feedback and the owner has been notified and they would like to respond: I am sorry to hear that your stay was not a five-star experience. We strive to provide the best possible service for our guests, so we were surprised to hear that you still had problems after we helped resolve your issues for each occasion that you texted us. When you left, we were sure that you were satisfied and regret that this happened. - The lock is a combination lock and we helped you on multiple occasions when you had trouble operating it. Sometimes these kinds of locks can be difficult to operate for guests and we gave you a key instead, which worked fine. - We informed you that the home had been extensively updated, including new appliances such as the stove, refrigerator, and backsplash, which you then complimented our decor choices. No further updating is needed. - The oven was moved during cleaning because it had never been in the way of the silverware drawer before. When we checked with you, you said there was something in the refrigerator that was preventing the door from closing, which you corrected on your own. Otherwise, it cools properly. We are confident that future guests will appreciate our newly updated kitchen that we are very proud of. In addition, I’m scheduled to go down next month to do a deep cleaning with my housekeeper and meet with a contractor to begin planning to rehab the bathroom and the kitchen cabinets during the offseason and as always, we will respond to each and every text or phone call during our guest’s stay so that we can provide the world-class service that we are known for.

Property has a lot of potential. The view is stunning from the balcony. A little dated but overall nice condo. The balcony looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time. The rusty table on the back and flaked everywhere and it kept it from being a relaxing place to hang out. My biggest complaint by far is the elevator issue. The property owner failed to disclose this when we made the reservation. The week of our trip, he called and casually mentioned the elevator was down and stated he hoped it would be resolved before our check in. He called to let us know on our way down that it was still down and that he had made arrangements for security to carry our bags. We were understanding of that as this isn’t something a property owner can control. When I saw no one was working on it and I decided to do a quick Google search and discovered it was a planned upgrade that was scheduled to last 5 to 6 weeks. Additionally, I spoke with security to find out they had communicated the outage to the property owners months in advance.I reached out to the property owner and asked and he said he’d been dealing with illness and hasn’t kept on top of communications. I can empathize with that, but when we were on our way he knew we were going to be climbing 6 flights of steps every time we left the condo and chose not to disclose this. I find this extremely dishonest. This was not a relaxing vacation and it could have been avoided. Very disaapointing experience!

A Piece of Paradise!!!! (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐)

Listen, I don't normally leave reviews, good or bad. However this stay well deserves the exception. The owner, Mr. Phillip was awesome and easy to deal with. He made every effort to insure that we had a great stay and zero issues. We ran into a total of zero problems. The space was perfect! The kitchen had all the dishes we needed, Coffee pots, blender, I mean you name it. The condo was clean and made us feel at home and comfy. The pictures are what they say they are. There are 2 sliding doors on the balcony and 2 windows in the bedroom over looking a white, clean and private beach. Off the other side where you walk into the condo there is mesmerizing few of Lake Powell and Camp Helen State Park. 2 pools, yes you heard me right 2 pools, one smaller one where you can soak up the sun with clean restrooms, and another that is an indoor/outdoor pool. The bed was extremely comfortable with clean sheets and fluffy pillows. Nice cold AC for when you get back in from getting too much sun. :) Look, I could seriously go on and on about how this made for a perfect vacation for my wife and I, along with our 2 girls. However I must cut it short. If you are looking for somewhere secluded with amazing views, that is affordable, has great service, you feel safe, that is clean, has plenty of stuff to do ( even with double red flags on the beach) then I promise, STOP READING, SEARCHING, SECOND GUESSING!! and book your perfect get away NOW!!!!!!!!!!!! We will be back for sure!!

Many problems with things that need repaired and redone

The owner was very nice and hands on with communication before our arrival and wants to please you. The unit was not good. Furniture very out dated. Keyless entry lock was very difficult and the owner stated that he knew about that before our arrival. The unit smelled very musty. Some of the electrical outlets don’t work all the time. The kitchen pots and pans in terrible shape and not one to heat up or boil anything in ? The walls are marked up and need painted. Couple of the rugs were very dirty and look like they have never been washed . The Refrigerator ice maker and water broken. The curtains in living area stained and have holes in them. The furniture on the balcony is old and the metal parts on them are rusted. The bathroom has been remolded very nice recently but the small piece of fixed glass that serves as a shower door does not keep the water in the shower because of its size so water gets on the floor after every use? So sorry but we left a day early because we were uncomfortable in the unit. The best plus overall was the view !! I told him I was sorry to have to tell him our disappointment in the unit but had to share with him what we saw and how we felt. We would not go back to this one for sure .

We take a hands-on approach, providing detailed information, regular check-ins, and text messages for assistance throughout your stay. -Regarding amenities, we recently added a sleeper sofa. We also renovated the bathroom with new fixtures, lights, and a tiled shower. We apologize if they didn't meet your expectations. -Our listing photos are current and taken by a professional photographer approved by Evolve. We apologize if there was any discrepancy. -Due to the Florida climate, doors may contract or expand. Guests can ensure a proper fit by slightly pulling the door tighter, and the lock functions as intended. -Regarding cleanliness, we offered to send our housekeeper to refresh the property, but the offer was declined. Our housekeepers maintain cleanliness, though wear and tear can occur. We'll address any issues at the end of the season. We apologize for the electrical outlet issue as you are aware we sent someone to check out the issue and will have it addressed by an electrician at the end of the season for guest safety. All other outlets, about 20 in the home, are functioning. -Our kitchen supplies, including pots and pans, were recently purchased within the last year, wonder if you may have missed seeing them. -We'll repaint the walls at the end of the year for a fresh look as we do bi-yearly. The bathroom, hallway, and living room were painted in January. We regret the ice maker malfunctioned during your stay, but these things happen, and we plan to purchase a new refrigerator at the end of the year. -This is the first time we've heard of any stains or holes in the curtains, they were purchased just two years ago. We'll order replacements for damaged ones. -Outdoor furniture may show signs of wear and rust due to exposure to the elements, but most people would rather have them than not, and of course, there are 4 new Adirondack chairs. Good view...dirty condo

The view off the balcony was great! The condo is in desperate need of a deep clean! There was a thick coating of dust everywhere, we went out and bought a new shower liner because the liner had mold all over it. The kitchen brush, soap dispensers in the bathroom and kitchen had mold on them. I threw the throw rugs that were in the bathroom into the wash to see if they were stained or really dirty. They were a light grey when i put them in the washer. They came out white with no stains. We took the extra bed sheets and covered the sofas so we could sit on them. The sheets did not fit the mattress with the topper on it. Several times during the night, we would fix the corners to keep it on. The owner must have tried to save the matress by putting a topper on the bed. It did not work! You would still sinkntowards the middle of the bed. I dropped an ice cube on the floor and went to pick it up with a paper towel. The paper towel was black from the dirty floor. There were mops and other cleaning supplies left in the unit that were disgusting! I contacted the owner about our concerns and his response was “I am sorry it is not as clean as you would like. I will let me cleaning people know.” We have rented from VRBO at last 20 times. I have never let a bad comment.

Great location, unit is a little outdated

Pinnacle Port is located in the back of a very secure/beautiful gated community. The location is excellent and extremely safe. Phillip, the property owner, was very responsive to all inquiries and I feel genuinely wants his guests to enjoy their stay. The only negative comment I have is that the unit (B2-707) needs updating.

We had a great time! We loved the beach view from the balcony and enjoyed having a kitchen to cook some meals in. It was great access to beach and nature preserve. We loved playing tennis and taking walks around Pinnacle Port.
