"Bubbles' Retreat"
Looking for a place to gather an extended family in a single home close to the beach with a private pool and hot tub close to the Omni resort of Amelia Island? Look no further.

This 5 bedroom / 4 bathroom house has gone through extensive renovations and is now ready for your vacation! We have removed walls to open up the area between the kitchen and the great room, as well as installed all new tile floors, quartz countertops, tile backsplash, as well as new stainless steel appliances and washer / dryer. Also there is a swimming pool and hot tub that has been newly installed. We have also fully renovated the master bathroom as well as new sinks / countertops / lighting for each of the other 3 bathrooms.

While close to the beach, our location is super private and secluded as we back onto a green wooded preserve but yet when quiet you can hear the ocean surf in the background. This quiet and peaceful location comes with expectations of our guests .... that NO LOUD NOISE OR DISTURBANCES will be permitted - of note:
- This is a RESIDENTIAL community with less than 4% single-family home rentals,
- This is not a “Party House” and renters need to be QUIET AND RESPECTFUL of their neighbors and their neighbors privacy, and
- There is a STRICT 10:00pm noise curfew.

Additionally, this home is an ideal Work from Home (WFH) destination with high speed fiber optic internet (1 Gig) and 6e wi-fi and places throughout the house so you can shelter in place and still get work done! Nearby to our house and on the island are both Harris Teeter and Publix supermarkets that now have grocery pickup as well as Walmart and Target super centers on the mainland.

Here's the sleeping arrangements by bedroom:

MASTER BEDROOM - 1 KING sized bed with attached bathroom - walk-in shower, dual vanity, and soaking tub. Also includes flat screen TV with cable. Sleeps 2.

2nd MASTER BEDROOM - 1 KING sized bed with attached bathroom - shower/tub combo and single vanity. Flat screen LED TV with cable. Sleeps 2.

3rd BEDROOM - 2 DOUBLE beds with attached bathroom - shower/tub combo and single vanity. Flat screen LED TV with cable. Sleeps 4 kids or 2 adults.

4th BEDROOM - 2 TWIN/SINGLE beds with attached bathroom - walk-in shower and single vanity. Located off of the great room/den and sliding glass door to pool and hot tub. Sleeps 2.

5th BEDROOM - 1 sleeper sofa just outside 1st Master Bedroom and shares that bathroom. Sleeps 1-2.

The layout of the house is conducive to large family gatherings - there is one large central, open plan area with a combined great room and kitchen. From that central area, all five bedrooms are located separately off of that open area - think of it like a hub and spoke.

Additionally we have six bikes (4 adult and 2 kid bikes) for your use and a four person "Bubbles" the golf cart for travel to the beach in about 3 minutes as well as throughout the resort community to restaurants and other activities.

While we are in the gated community where the Amelia Island Omni resort is located, we are not part of the Omni resort and its rental program, but there are still many opportunities for you to leverage the facilities. You have access to all of the restaurants at the hotel itself as well as anywhere on the resort premises, the tennis center, spa, miniature golf, and one of the golf facilities on the resort premises and numerous others golf courses on the island.

As part of our guest experience we provide a very detailed welcome email that provides all the things you need to know as well as things we like to do and recommend them to our guests. That includes our favorite restaurants in the area as well as activities you may be interested in doing!

We also have a universal Tesla Level 2 wall charger that can charge both Teslas (NACS plug) and non-Tesla vehicles (J1772 plug) up to 44 miles per hour of charge!

This vacation rental is fully furnished and equipped with everything you need to have a great beach and island vacation - this is the one spot you will come back to over and over again!

Staying on this property was a perfect retreat for our family between Christmas and the New Year. The peace and tranquility of the backyard/home was a great place to spend time. The beach was a short walk/bike/golf cart ride away and was simply stunning. Heading out to Historic Fernandina for dinner provided many great options and our NYE was the most memorable with the epic Shrimp drop!! Karl was a wonderful, responsive and helpful host. We came with our family and had a wonderful time! House has everything you could need. October was too cold for the pool but there is a hot tub and the kids LOVED it. Everything you need is provided and all electronics are easy to work! Renters are allowed to use golf cart which was so nice and got us everywhere we wanted to go, beach, dinner, neighborhood drives and more

The house and pool were absolutely wonderful!! The golf cart, Bubbles, was the icing on the cake. Home was very well stocked and the host always responded quickly when we had questions!! My family and I truly enjoyed staying at this property. It was the perfect setting for some much needed R&R. "Bubbles" the golf cart was by the far the biggest hit of everything! This house was perfect for our family vacation. There were four families that stayed and plenty of room for everyone - the fact that every bedroom had its own bathroom is priceless. Super Multi-generational Hideaway

I echo the existing reviews. Lots of thoughtful touches like nightlights throughout. Kitchen is extremely well equipped.The grounds are very private and feel like a nature preserve. To Karl's list of restaurants, I would add Lagnaippe and Pogo's Kitchen - original, creative cuisine at both. Our family loved "Bubbles Beach Retreat"

Wonderful stay in April

We had a great time at Karl’s home on Amelia Island. The location is perfect. The house has a great layout and was clean and well stocked. The pool, hot tub and outdoor area were amazing. And we enjoyed exploring the resort on the golf cart. We explored the historic downtown and many of the exceptional restaurants. We also loved the meal we got from the Outer Banks Shrimp Boil—we picked up our shrimp boil in a big pot and cooked it at the house. We can’t wait to return!

Great Family Vacation Home

The home was perfect for two families (4 adults, 5 kids). The pool was a great gathering point after a day of adventures. Karl is an excellent host who was extremely easy to work with and very communicative. The house was exactly as pictured and we loved using the pool and hot tub. Having a golf cart provided was extremely convenient for the quick 3-4 ride to the beach access. The house is laid out well and worked great for our two families. I would stay here again.

We have loved our vacations to Amelia Island over the years especially the Amelia Island Plantation resort with all of its amenities as well as the historic district, so we decided to purchase a home to enjoy the beach and all of the activities on the island.

Why they chose this property

When you drive up to the plantation and approach the canopy of oak trees and moss, your blood pressure drops and you feel like you are on vacation. At our home there is peaceful solitude, unquestionable natural beauty, sports activities, and great restaurants / night-time activities - all a short golf cart or bike ride away.

What makes this property unique

For us, proximity to the beach was key and once we found this house, we completely updated it - removing walls and opening up the area between the kitchen and then fully updating the kitchen and great room - new tile floors, quartz countertops, tile backsplash, stainless steel appliances, washer/dryer, and all new flat screen LED TVs throughout. We have also put in high speed wi-fi internet (400MB) so you can easily access the internet.

This house can sleep 11 and is ideally suited to two families with a mix of adults and children. The way the house is laid out it is great for gathering in the main central area or retreating to the solitude and quiet of your own bedroom. Also the pool / hot tub is visible accessible from all sliding glass doors from the main area to the back yard.

Another important point is its location inside the plantation - we are on the beach side of 1st Coast Parkway (A1A), so there are no busy streets to cross to get to the beach.
