The lodge was amazing for our large group. We used every aspect of the house and it had everything we needed. We didn’t use the fire pit but did use the grill. The house was perfect, nothing missing. The location was secluded and gave use the privacy our group was looking for.
This was a wonderful place to stay. It had everything we needed and was a perfect location for our group retreat. We would gladly book here again. Thank you!
My husband and I had our wedding at this property. The house is beautiful, has great scenery, had plenty of space for everyone and everything! Also the host was very communicative and willing to work with us on things. It was a great experience!
Had a fantastic time at the property with my closest friends and family for a fun personal event. Plenty of room to spread out and had well maintained grounds. Falling asleep to the soft sounds of the nearby water was wonderful. We would love to book another stay next year!
My coworker friends and I stayed here to celebrate my birthday. The house was beautiful, snow was beautiful, very spacious, river view was wonderful too. Most peaceful vacation ever.
We had a great time! The house was clean and well stocked, and communication was easy and clear. The layout is incredible for a group of friends and family - especially the main living room.
We rented this property for our team winter retreat and it was great! We fit 19 comfortably and had no issues during our stay. The location is beautiful and not too far from Hood River. There is a general store 5 minutes down the road which we found very convenient. Our group really enjoyed our time.
We had a fabulous experience. Michael was very attentive and we enjoyed this property thoroughly. The property is even better than the pictures show. The sound of the brook at night was a wonderful way to relax after a nice day.
Abundant room for all ages, our group of 17 sisters, SIL, nieces and grandnieces truly enjoyed the ability to spread out (indoors, on dexks and the expansive grounds outdoors) when desired, but gather together at dinner, for board games, movie watching. Making s'mores at the firepit was a highlite, as were the nearby trails for walks & hikes. Highly recommend!!
What a beautiful home and setting. Its was prefect to help survivors come together at a Pink Sistas retreat and support healing survivors. The house was fabulous and so grateful for the excellent communication. Definitely will use this location again. Thank you. would recommend this home to.
Everything we could hope for. The host was a great communicator, quick to respond and easy to talk to. We will come back again. Thank you for a beautiful weekend!
This house was amazing for three families with kids. The dads were able to cold plunge in the backyard river and then warm by the fire pit. At night, we were able to have some amazing flashlight tag games. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for this size. The owner was super helpful with accommodations and answering questions quickly. I’m
This property had it all. Plenty of room for 12 people. The kitchen was easy to use. The extra refrigerator was appreciated. The market in town had everything we needed. The creek had plenty of water, and the water hole was fun, even though very cold. The wiffle ball field down the road was just wonderful, with all of the equipment. Our group played there multiple times, and one of the times it had lots of people playing and a pitch in picnic. We went to a waterfall in the national forest, and got good suggestions from the national forest people. We went on the Hood River Railroad and kayaked in the Columbia at a rental place there. Everything was great. Thank you so much!
This house and property was such a breath of fresh air. It had freshly snowed and the river was beautiful. My group of friends enjoyed the outside fire pit while snowing out, and played many games whilst the fireplace was blazing inside.
Highly recommend this house for group getaways or family sabbaths.
Thanks!
We celebrated my sisters 40th birthday with family and friends. The house was clean, beautiful and cozy. Communication and effort from the host was excellent and friendly. Would definitely stay here again!
We changed some wedding plans pretty last minute and booked this VRBO to have our sweet, intimate, and BEAUTIFUL wedding. Everything was on site so no one had to drive to and from for different parts of the day. We spent the whole weekend here with our wedding party which was a BLAST. Our wedding was just around 50 people and the owner was so accommodating to make sure we could get everything we needed. In all honesty, I was very weary about some of the deposits/fees we had to pay due to holding the event, but let me assure you: The owner was so wonderful and supportive through my questions and concerns. Our guests couldn't stop raving about this wonderful property. So much so, our friends/family that stayed in the VRBO all want to come back again. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle, have the most GORGEOUS scenery, and have some intimate moments with your friends/family, this is the place to go.
Beautiful home on 20 acres next to the river with views of Mt. Adams. Large enough for our big extended family. The owner was very helpful in accommodating our big group. The kitchen is well stocked but it did get a little crowded. Fortunately there is a grill and tons of outdoor seating. The bedrooms and beds were really comfortable, and the 5 bathrooms were enough for our needs. Our family enjoyed exploring the nearby Columbia River Gorge and Lower Lewis Falls. We loved relaxing on the porch in the evenings and spending time together.
This house is beautiful! The home itself is clean and incredibly well maintained. This is a perfect house for a big group with lots of places to sit and hang out together, both inside and out! Would highly recommend to anyone.
We had a family gathering - 12 adults from spots near and far - for 5 nights - and it was perfect! Lots of appropriate spaces for small and large conversations, group meal prep and group activities.
Conversations with the host were cheerful, helpful and with prompt replies. Highly recommended!
