Summer Activities or Winter Activities

If you know anything about Crystal Mountain, you know it is a great place to create family memories! This condo unit, located on the 1st and 9th holes of the golf course, is ideal for those who want to enjoy all the amenities of Crystal Mountain.

Open all year around, Crystal Mountain Condo comes with 2 bedrooms, a great living space, full kitchen, and sleeps 7. Although guests will have to purchase different amenities that Crystal Mountain has to offer, you won't regret being this close to all the action! Sit back and relax in one of the two jetted tubs, rent a kayak/canoe for an evening paddle, or get a day ski pass for the mountain; either way it goes, there is plenty to do in and around this condo!

ATV/Snowmobiles: Not allowed on property, however you can rent a snowmobile through Crystal Mountain resort for use on offsite trails.

Bathroom: 2 Full Bathrooms. Newly renovated Jacuzzi tub!

Beach/Swimming: There is an indoor pool, an outdoor pool, and a water playground available for guests: The rate is $8-12 per day/person & Must be purchased separately at the Crystal Mountain Resort. The closest beach is Beulah Public Beach about 12 miles away: 139 Lake St, Beulah, MI 49617

Boats: Kayaks and Canoes are available for rent at Crystal Mountain Resort.

Fireplace: Yes! A nice, easy to use, gas fireplace!

Fire pit: There is no outdoor fire pit.

Grill: There is not a grill, however, guests have access to a full kitchen.

Handicap Accessible: This condo is on the 2nd floor and accessible only via stairs.

Store: The Mountain Market grocery store is within walking distance.

Internet: Yes, Wi-Fi is available.

Linens: Yes, we provide you with basic bedding, sheets and linens. Just like a hotel, the beds will be made for you before your arrival. If you are particular about the thread count of your sheets, let us know, and we will make sure we leave a bed open for your sheets.

Parking: There are 2 parking spaces available.

Pets: 1 dog is welcomed! Freshwater Vacation Rentals currently charges $75/per pet for your entire stay. Yes, we do accept dogs, yet we do ask that you please clean up after them both inside and outside. If you allow them on the furniture, we do ask that you please bring your own linens/blankets for them to sleep on. Just let us know which bed you will be using with them, and we'll make sure it is ready for your sheets when you arrive. If the pet hair starts to build inside the home, we do ask that you please run the vacuum. Generally, dogs love the water and places to explore. Please keep in mind, pet food does tend to attract mice, so vigilance is needed.

Privacy: This condo is located in a resort. You will be surrounded by other condo buildings and foot traffic.

Smoking: No smoking of any kind is allowed on the property. Due to the close proximity of the neighbors, it is strictly prohibited.

Snowmobiles: a person (resident and nonresident) that operates a snowmobile in Michigan is required to purchase a snowmobile trail permit. The trail permit enables snowmobilers to ride state-designated trails and thousands more miles of public roads and on public lands (where authorized). It is valid for one year, which begins Oct. 1 and ends Sept. 30 of the following year. State-designated trails are open Dec. 1-March 31 and grooming occurs when there is enough snow on the ground.

Space: You are on the 2nd floor of a condo unit. There are other units below and across.

Towels: Yes, we provide bath towels. Please bring your own beach towels to take to the water.

Washer and dryer: While there is NOT a washer and dryer in the condo itself, however, there is a coin laundry mat at the main chalet.

Winter Activities:

Distance: About 5-10 miles (Crystal Lake and Benzie County snowmobile trails).
*Downhill Skiing/Snowboarding
Distance: 1-5 miles to Crystal Mountain Resort, which offers skiing, snowboarding, and other winter activities.

Distance: 10-15 miles (trails at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore or Manistee National Forest).
*Ice Fishing
Distance: About 5-10 miles (local lakes like Crystal Lake).
