Perfection
Perfectly equipped and clean as a whistle. Only complaint is that the beds had too much foam rubber which made Them too hot for our taste. We had to adjust the air conditioning to cool the house down so that we could sleep. We enjoyed the surroundings and loved exploring. Dining out facilities were great and we had crab almost every dinner. Reading early in the morning on the front porch was wonderful. For peace and quiet, beauty and perfection, good food and and great supplies for at-home cooking, this place is ideal. We hated to leave but we did take crab home with us from the processing facility on the southernmost island below Hoopers. Exploring the marshy areas around us was a wakeup call about life in the area. We love to visit new places and this area was a real surprise. VRBO seems to attract the unusual. We have never been disappointed in their locales. It will be difficult to match this one.

Awesome House
Very quiet quaint neighborhood. Very friendly people and very laid back relaxing feeling. Only very small water views from the house. The dock was very nice and the house has everything. Love the area and the fishing in Blackwater was challenging but successful.

We first came to Hooper"s Island in 2004, loved it so much that we had a house built across the road from the bay on a little quiet lane. We are into nature, and this is a perfect and safe place to enjoy nature at its finest. Great adult getaway.

Why they chose this property

For the peaceful surroundings and lovely vistas. Starry nights and gorgeous sunsets! Quiet walks, beautiful bike rides, crabbing, fishing, boating, reading, bird watching or just sitting on the dock and enjoying an evening wine or morning coffee or a late afternoon glass of wine on your screened in porch or private dock.
Simply close your eyes and listen to the sounds of silence.

What makes this property unique

We fell in love with the island and designed our home to fit into the peaceful surroundings. There is so much history in the area.
