Welcome to our charming 2-bedroom farm stay in the heart of Fishing Creek! Nestled in a picturesque setting, this cozy accommodation offers the perfect escape for your next vacation.

As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a fully stocked kitchen, complete with a stove, oven, refrigerator, and all the essential appliances you need to whip up delicious meals. Enjoy your culinary creations at the dining table, or step outside and fire up the grill for an alfresco dining experience.

When it's time to unwind, you can curl up on the comfortable living room furniture and enjoy the smart TV, or explore the selection of books, games, and DVDs. The free WiFi and in-unit washer and dryer make it easy to stay connected and refreshed during your stay.

Just a short 10-minute drive away, you'll find the stunning Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge, where you can immerse yourself in nature and spot an abundance of wildlife. Our stay was exactly what we needed and Toby and Kim were very kind and highly responsive. The house was immaculate and well stocked. We loved the property and the island. Our youngest caught about 25 crabs and we feasted.

Couldn't be happier with our stay

Not only was the property itself beautiful and clean, it had everything we could've asked for in regards to a fire pit, grill, dock access, household accessories. Besides that Toby and Kim were incredible and responsive hosts who made sure we were fully happy with our stay. Our whole group agreed this is absolutely worth coming back to and we have a great time!

Family Getaway!

Our stay in this charming cottage exceeded our expectations! Equipped with every necessity and a private pier, we reveled in fishing and crabbing. Although rain dominated our visit, we witnessed a breathtaking sunrise on our final day. Our host, Toby, was exceptional and attentive to our needs. We relished every moment of our getaway!

Great Family Getaway

Both the property and house were very impressive. They had everything we needed, and we did a bit of everything while we were there: swimming, stargazing, camp fires, crab feast, fishing, etc. The owners were quick with communication and didn't mind us bringing our dog at the last minute. Overall, we loved it and didn't want to leave. If the opportunity arrises, we'll definitely go back.

Amazing stay!

This property was amazing! It’s on a huge lot! And has the river back up right to it. It’s beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The property was perfect. It was very clean and Kim and Toby are amazing hosts, they were always available and quick to respond or give us recommendations. Would definitely come and stay in their property again!

Escape the rat race to here

So pretty, quiet and the views and accommodations were worth it. Beautiful ride there and while there also, seeing wildlife, birds & crabbers. No noise, no traffic. The dock was great with a lot of access to water including a binoculars view of the Hooper's Island Lighthouse. Just a lovely place to stay. The breezes off the water were very pleasant & refreshing.

These homes were lovingly added to VRBO by Toby and Kim after they fell in love with the National Wildlife Refuge and the stunning sunsets of the Chesapeake Bay. In 2025 they transferred ownership to an Amish family from Lancaster, PA who is excited to use this property as their vacation spot and that's where we (Kayla and REMM Stays) come in. I have been taking care of beautiful vacation properties for the past 7 years and am so honored to add this beautiful spot to our portfolio. We are excited to share the island with others so they can experience the sereneness and beauty of the area.
