In the back get to know the locals at the "boat shaped" bar. You can hear them talk about the catch of the day and their experiences on the boat.
. The roads are flat and scenic, enjoyable to ride or walk your dog. Take a swim on our small public beach which is 2 minute drive , as you look for arrowheads, or drive 70 minutes to the famous Ocean City Boardwalk and beach. Spend the day swimming in the ocean and enjoy the shops, restaurants, mini golf amusement parks and fine foods they have to offer.
In my rental I have about 100 flyers/brochures of activities for every vacation experience! Drive 15 minutes to the Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge, drive around the refuge, stop and do the nature walks and bike trails. Bird watching is very popular here, where bald eagles thrive.
Stop in the visitor centers gift shop and information center see the stuffed wild animals on display. And look at the live Web Cam of eagles nesting their young.

When it's time to retire in the evening curl up with a good book on our fully lit window seats.

We mostly love catching the fish and crabs then cooking them up for a fresh seafood dinner!!
Why they chose this property
This was the home my husband was raised in. It was left to us , so we completely renovated it all new inside, and now rent it so others can enjoy our nice cozy home. As you see the way of life here as the watermen work on the bay and come in daily with their catches. What a great experience!!
What makes this property unique
Enjoy steaming your own blue claw crabs we get fresh daily off the boats at wholesale prices. Cooking them right in the backyard! Or we can get the crabs ALREADY COOKED!! Also In the fall thru winter, you can buy oysters right off the boats. Then in the evening sit on the porch and watch the sun set over the Bay!
