This comfortable double brick home stays cool in Summer and warm in Winter, has beautiful wooden floors throughout and is family and pet friendly. The home has three bedrooms and comfortably sleeps 7 people. Master bedroom with BIR - one queen bed. Bedroom 2 - one double bed and one single bed. Bedroom 3 - one queen bed. The modular lounge can sleep an extra person. Rejuvenated bathroom with separate shower and large cast iron bath. Rejuvenated kitchen with lots of accessories.
Property features include large north facing merbau deck enclosed by a pergola that provides privacy and comfort no matter what the weather when entertaining or just lounging about. The indoor dining area has seating for 6, while the undercover outdoor area has seating for 8. There's also an outdoor courtyard with a table and chairs.
Additional features: Secure fences and child-safe gates, and the huge backyard provides plenty of room for dogs to roam and is visually appealing for children to explore and play. Recently rejuvenated laundry with smart washing machine and dryer, Elna press and iron/ironing board. Separate indoor and external toilets. Split system in lounge. All bedrooms have ceiling fans, portable heaters and electric blankets on each bed. Modern Webber BBQ that does all types of cooking including roasts and pizzas Plenty of parking in driveway and lock-up rear yard for boats, trailers and caravans Large Sony TV and DVD player which plays CDs. Classic and Australiana video library, magazines, novels, board games for all ages and children's toys Children’s swing set, large trampoline, hammock, table tennis table, totem tennis etc. Doggie basket, bowls and a dog kennel. First aid kit, fire extinquisher, smoke alarms. Please note: Small to medium dogs are most welcome inside, but please refrain from allowing pets on the furniture or in laundry, toilets or bedrooms. Also please limit smoking to outside.

Our accommodation was perfect for us. Our host was very informative and helpful. The house had exceptional amenities and we felt very comfortable. It was also a fabulous location.
The place was more than we expected, very good amenities, clean, quiet place, close to beach & shops, everything you needed was provided, spacious comfortable house, lots of thoughts went into keeping anyone entertained with lots of DVD'S, magazines, toys for kids, and outside the backyard is a great spot for kids to play safely. We loved the verandah to sit and relax, all in all 10 out of 10
My daughter's family stayed here- and we had our family Christmas lunch on the deck. The gardens (and whole property) are a credit to Will. The grandchildren had so much space to find a place to be together or some quiet time for themselves. The doggies loved the garden as well!
We had a great stay and have rebooked for the same dates next year. The house had everything we could possibly need. It is a great location with a six month old and a dog. We hardly needed to drive the car anywhere. Thank you Will & Gabe. Look forward to next year.
It felt like we were intruding into a family's home - a home that was lived in by the family but had gone away during time we were there? Amenities were fair. No breakfast items. Backyard was a good size. Ideal for dogs. (We did not take our dog).
Exactly as described and a great spot for our winter get away. Willis place had everything we needed and Will made us feel welcome from the minute our booking was accepted.

I live with my wife and two daughters 12 and 14 near Ballarat. I grew up in Portarlington in the 70's and 80's, when it was still a small fishing village of about 1200 people. My parents used to let the property out each Summer to holiday makers from Ballarat.
I now work in public health and try to instill these values in how I run this property. I love staying at the house and working in the garden and making improvements.
Why they chose this property
Everything you need is provided for a nice family friendly holiday. Huge back yard. secure fences and gates. Native and ornamental garden with lush green lawn attracts birds and creates a cool relaxing setting. Quiet neighbourhood centrally located close to shops and beach.
What makes this property unique
One of the few places offering plenty of space to unwind. Peaceful friendly neighborhood. Privacy and security for pets and children play and get lost in the garden.
