Our home, which we call "Poolside Paradise" is a great place for a family vacation, a couple of foursomes for golf, or just a spontaneous get a way. The private pool in the rear of the property really stands out. Professionally landscaped and extremely private. This well furnished house has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and a cots, plus a comfy sofa bed. Two of the bedrooms have king size beds, the third bedroom has 2 twin beds. We comfortably sleep 8. The fully equipped kitchen has new stainless appliances, Keurig coffee brewer, and all the cookery you would have in your home. The heated swimming pool is equipped with underwater light for night swimming, which is a blast for the children. Accompanying the pool is a brand new Weber gas grill for the barbecuer in you. :-) This sun filled home has plenty of beach towels for your day at the beach as well as a washer and dryer to clean and dry those sandy, wet cloths. "Poolside Paridise" is located in the premier "500 block" of Naples Park, which has a southern exposure. Feel free to relax and enjoy your morning coffee while rocking on one of our white rockers, check emails and such with our furnished high speed wifi. Enjoy a morning run through Delnor-Wiggens Beach and State Park. This scenic 3 mile trek takes you through a park, along side the intercostal, down to the beach, and back home. Once you are ready for the day, you can walk to the beach or ride one of the 4 provided bikes the short .9 mile. If you want to grill lunch or dinner, there is a Whole Foods and Publix 1.5 miles from the home. If cooking is not "your thing", there is beachfront dining at Turtle Club or the Ritz, also about 1.5 miles from our home. You can also shop or dine at the ultra upscale Marcato Complex. The Marcato boasts many upscale and unique shopping stores as well as a wide variety of food options. This is one of my favorite places to spend the evening as it has plenty of outdoor restaraunts and ice cream shops. Once you are home for the evening, relax in the spacious living room while watching a movie on the television with furnished cable. The two large bedrooms also have cable television. Also, new for 2024: New linens, quilts, comforters, and hypoallergenic pillows. New Graco Pack 'n Play Booster Seat with tray.

We are very active; running, golf, tennis, and hiking are a few of the activities we enjoy. We will celebrate 25 years of marriage in 2015 and have lived in the Midwest for all of those years. We met while at college in Chicago and moved to Indiana in 1990.
We started traveling to southern Florida for vacations and golf trips in 2003.

Why they chose this property
So, this is a funny story. This past winter, 2015, was dragging on and Laurel asked me about taking a trip to get some "vitamin D" (sunshine) because the Midwest winter was cold, long, miserable. We settled on Naples because it was practically the only destination in the country that was above 70. Also, the flights are fantastic. Most destination you "lose" a day in travel, but not Naples. I am a Marriott Platium member due to my travels and was going to get a hotel room but decided to surprise my wife with a VRBO/Home Away property so she can sip her coffee in the morning on the front porch and our 5 yr old could learn to swim in a private pool. The vacation house we stayed at was so warm, inviting, and was simply an outstanding location. We felt SO safe! We took morning and evening walks...we even rented a "multi-person" bike that We "taxied" our daughter to the beach, to the Marcato, and around the neighborhood. What a blast! Well, our minds were made up, we asked the owner if we could purchase the house we were staying in. :-). While it wasn't for sale, I think our enthusiasm overwhelmed him. The negotiation had started. :-) The following month I decided to take my son and some of his friends on a spring break golf trip. Yep, you guessed it. We stayed in the same house. We had a couple of four-somes and thoroughly enjoyed the house, location, pool and grill. So, we were hooked. We enjoyed ourselves so much and had such great memories that we purchased the property. :-).
We want this house to be even more comfortable than staying at the Marriott. From the fluffy towels, new bedding, and immaculate cleaning, we have planned our home to have everything you need in a vacation home. We are just a call or text away to answer your questions. What makes this property unique
The location is simply OUTSTANDING and the Sunshine during the winter months can not be overstated! Walking distance to the beach. World class golf and restaruants with-in a few miles. Our home is truly warm with an open and inviting "feel". The private pool with 4 lounge chairs and Weber grill make for a relaxing day. Here are two additional items that I think are cool but may not resonate with everyone; 1) There is a Dunkin Donuts less than a mile from our home - yeah, I run so I can eat warm donuts in the morning. :-)
2) Walt Disney World is about 2:45 minutes away. Yes, we actually made this trek during one of our "longer trips" to south Florida. It really isn't that bad. We left at 7am and got to Disney world shortly after it opened and left Magic Kingdom around 8pm. It was a fun and special time.
