Copper Mountain is a local favorite. With 3 separate areas in 2538 acres of naturally divided terrain, all skier abilities love this mountain. Simplify the logistics of your ski vacation. This Gold rated condo is the CLOSEST RESIDENCE to the two lifts in the Center Village. We will match the rate for any comparable listing in the Center Village.
Don't carry your equipment any further than necessary in those clumsy ski boots? Being so close to the lifts makes it easy to take a quick break from the cold and get right back to the fun, fast! Others say they're just steps away from the lifts, Copper One Lodge really is. There is no better location at Copper Mountain Resort.

This One Bedroom is comfortable for a couple and a couple of kids, or another couple on the sofa bed.
We replaced the sofa bed with a sofa/chaise lounge that folds down to make a king sized bed. The sofa cushions are the mattress.

We have most kitchen amenities, including a slow cooker!

In this gold rated condo you won't find a crowd of college kids playing music into the wee hours of the night. Yes, it does happen, but not in Copper One Lodge. Young partiers rent the older, cheaper, Silver rated condos that have extra floor space for lots of sleeping bags.

All the activities happen just outside Copper One Lodge in the Burning Stone Plaza. Fireworks, Bonfires, Street Performers, Award Ceremonies, Stores, Shops, Equipment Rentals, lift tickets, Restaurants, bars. It's all right here!

Summit county has graciously given us permission to rent this condo on a short term basis. The permit number is BCA-72221. This condo has a 4 person limit and comes with the use of one parking space. We are compliant.

If you want to be close to the action and the lifts, this is the place to stay. It's peaceful and quiet in the condo, even during concerts! The sunsets in Colorado are always amazing and you'll have a front row seat on our west-facing balcony.

Great Location to Ski

Walk from this condo unit, down the elevator, and to ski lift was about 3 minutes (one minute walk from the Copper One exit to the American Eagle lift - amazing). Enjoyed having the shops steps away from condo and parking very close to the building in the parking garage.We cooked in our condo, plenty of dishes and cookware. Comfortable and quiet, enjoyed the small balcony too. Ron was a great host (thank you Ron). We would stay here again.

A great way to do Copper Mountain

If you're going to Copper Mountain, this is the condo to get. It's located at the base of the mountain, so getting your ski equipment from the secured locker (included as part of the condo rental) and getting to the lifts is so easy and convenient. In addition, the owner was very responsive every step of the way and even provided valuable "local" tips that were very helpful. Lastly, the condo itself was spotlessly clean and outfitted with everything we needed ... coffee pot, frig, microwave, plates/bowls/silverware and comfy beds/pillows. Without a doubt, we'll rent this condo again on our next trip to Copper Mountain.

Best Ski Trip Ever!

We will definitely stay here again. Even my husband has been telling everyone how perfect the condo was. The location made the trip, but the condo manager, Ron, was fantastic. He answered all questions so quickly and made sure our stay was perfect. The condo is excellently stocked, so was clean, great location and view. We absolutely loved the town of Copper and will definitely go back here soon!

Great property, attentive and proactive host

The property is just as described, and was an awesome home-base for Courage Classic. Super close to the elevator, and right next to all the action. The condo faces the climbing wall courtyard (away from Eagles Landing), so it’s quite quiet and peaceful. Ron was proactive and mailed a keycard prior to the trip, which made for easy access, and reached out the day of check-in (unprompted) to let me know the property was ready early. Ron is a great host, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again!

Classy, Convenient

Well-equipped condo-ultimate convenience! Close to elevator (but no elevator noise because housekeeping closet buffers elevator), ski locker @1st floor elevator door, huge hot tub is steps away from elevator door (2nd floor). Just Ride the elevator down, Grab your skis from locker & you’re at Amer Eagle lift in 45 seconds-including the ski boot walk/lugging skis. Copper One truly is the closest to lift & all the fun food/bars/music of Center Village! It was the Perfect condo for us- a couple. It might be a little tight for >2 adults, considering skiing requires so much “gear”. We appreciated the many sturdy hooks at front door/hall-for hanging coats, ski pants, mittens, helmets, gear, etc. Parking was easy, too-underground and right by the elevator! Only criticism-the hydraulic elevators are a little slow at peak times (8:45-10am & 3:30-4:30), but not bad. Ron is a conscientious host, great communication. Condo was as-advertised. We had a relaxing, romantic ski week & will definitely stay here again!

Great location, but......

The location of this property is excellent - close to restaurants, shops, etc., and very convenient to the lifts. The rest of it left a lot to be desired though. When we first arrived, we wasted a lot of time looking for the 'lobby', which we found out is simply a crowded entry way, leading to the ski lockers or elevators. Speaking of the elevators - there are only two and one was not working, which meant extremely long waiting times on a very busy weekend. No one's fault - just an added headache. The condo itself was not what we expected based on the website. While it was adequate, it is really poorly designed, with an awkward, uncomfortable living and TV viewing area. The room was way too hot the entire time, despite lowering the temperature as far as it could go. After much struggle, we were able to open the windows, but then we could not get them closed! The door leading to the little back area did not lock at all, which needless to say, left us a very uncomfortable. It was clean and provides all the necessities, but looks and feels really old. In the bathroom, there was no option to not have the heated light on, which we were very frustrated about because it was already so hot to begin with. I think we would have been happier with this property had the price been lower, but we definitely felt like we paid too much for what we were getting. Maybe our expectations were too high, but we ski at resorts all over Colorado every winter, and we this one was just not up to par compared to all others we have rented.

Exactly as described!

We loved this property, including how close it is to the lifts (one day I counted that it was 60 steps from where I took off my skis to the ski locker), and both the coziness and cleanliness of the unit. The hot tub was very nice and wasn't crowded. The unit was well-stocked for cooking in the unit. Ron was probably the best owner I've ever worked with - he was quick to respond to the questions I had and was very kind to let us do a slightly later check-out. I will definitely try to book this unit if we are back in Copper Mountain again!

Wonderful Unit!

Perfect Spring Skiing trip

Great location, close to everything. Just steps to the lift, covered garage, everything we needed was in walking distance. The condo was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Ron was a great host!

in the center of it all

The condo was just as described. We stayed there during a ski festival (Dew Fest) - it's right in the center of all of the action, yet on the quiet side of the building, so we wouldn't know what was going on outside from inside of the condo. It's equipped with everything a small family needs, and the king sofa-bed pullout was plenty large enough to share with my teenager. We utilized the ski locker on the 1st floor and the hot tub on the 2nd. We kept the car parked in the garage for our entire stay as there are plenty of dining and entertainment options in the village. We really enjoyed our stay and would go back if we have the opportunity to visit Copper Mt again.

Location, Location, Location

This place is located less than 100 feet from the lifts at Center Village! It is a wonderful little one bedroom with a kitchen that is well stocked if you choose to cook. Bed is comfy, and pull out couch is sufficient (maybe best suited for children). I came with my son, and it was perfect. It would also work well for me and my wife. I would not choose this place for my family of 4. The place is a small one bedroom, and if you are sleeping 4, you better be a tight knit group. Place is 5⭐️, but a few items we noted during our stay: Very Limited storage if you are an unpacker No Shampoo/Conditioner No Safe

The county says it's a ski in ski out condo. Copper One Lodge is situated next to and between the two lifts in the Center Village. The streets are heated so unless you want to give your skis a quick base sanding, take your skis off and walk the 50 or so steps to your ski locker in the lobby of Copper One Lodge. There are some true ski in ski out condos at Copper, they're over 40 years old. If you like to build a fire with wood, then those condos might be good. If you'd rather flip a switch for the fire, then our condo is what you desire.
We live in Golden and have skied all over Colorado and California. We love Copper for the variety of terrain and the ease of access, it's right off I-70!

Why they chose this property

When we looked into buying a condo we only searched in Copper One Lodge. It's the closest condo the lifts in the Center Village. We wanted to walk as little as possible in our ski boots. Copper Mountain is our favorite place to ski. It's easy to find and easy to navigate once you're here. There are no cars in the village.
You can drive up in a blizzard and park your car the heated underground parking garage, load your things on a luggage cart and take the elevator to your retreat.
We typically don't see our car until we are ready to leave. You have everything you need in this quaint European style village with heated streets that are oriented to get full sun during the day.
There is a grocery store, many restaurants, ice skating and equipment rentals in Copper One Lodge.
Copper Mountain is a family friendly resort that caters to both beginner and advanced skiers. Beginners can ski green runs from near the top of the mountain and enjoy incredible high mountain vistas not seen on beginner slopes at other resorts. Advanced skiers can find steep snow covered bowls above tree-line and it's all easily accessible. There are some giant jumps for the boarders and Woodward allows you to perfect your flips and tricks inside with foam landing pits year round.

What makes this property unique

This condo is the closest condo to the lifts in the Center Village at Copper Mountain. There's nothing closer.
Copper replaced both lifts in the Center Village with 6-person chair lifts. The Eagle has a gondola every fifth "chair". So, you walk out of our condo with skis in hand and tighten your boots in the gondola on the way up. Then you can choose to just ski up to the lift for your next run. The best of both worlds.
