Wonderful place. Quiet, far away from busy town, but close enough to shops, restaurants and beaches. And there are the horses... Casey, Charlie Spur and little My Dream. They will leave a soft spot for them in your heart for the rest of your life. Lauraine will make sure your stay is wonderful and worry free.

Family Vacation

Property was clean and had everything you would need for a short or long term stay. It was a very nice balance between nature and also a modern condo. We loved the horses and everyone was super nice and made you feel right at home. The location is a little tucked away but, it makes it very peaceful and allows for a great relaxing stay. I would recommend this location for anyone and do hope to stay again in the future.

Feburary get away.

The overall property was great. We enjoyed our daily walks. The location to all the beaches including St. Pete just an hour away. The horses was fun to watch. Lauraine was very personable.

Our stay at Treehouse B

We really enjoyed our stay at the Treehouse. The best part is that we are secluded from the noise & busyness of the city yet close to shopping, restaurants, etc. There were plenty of areas for taking long walks and we felt safe the entire time. The best part is the close proximity to the horses that are extremely friendly. The only suggestion we have is to update the kitchen utensils and/or cookware. We took it upon ourselves to buy a knife sharpener, a manual can opener, sponges and other elements used in kitchens that seemed to us outdated.

Beautiful

So many good things to say. The property is beautiful. The trees, horses, really everything was pleasing to the eye. We stayed in TROPICAL 2 BEDROOM "TREE HOUSE" UNIT "B" ON EQUINE RANCH for a week. It had everything we needed. The unit was larger/nicer than I expected. It also feels really secluded even though it is not far from stores and restaurants. We went to the dog beach which was maybe only 20 to 25 minutes away.

Sarasota hidden gem

I booked this at the last minute. I wasn’t expecting much, because it is a converted barn duplex on an active ranch. However, I and my entire family were pleasantly surprised. It is a peaceful little hideaway that sits away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Sarasota and Siesta Key, but is close enough to everything. Lauraine, the owner and manager, was vivacious and welcoming. We took advantage of many of her suggestions for dining out. There are many beautiful horses on the property. The treehouse is surrounded by many shade trees, and sitting on the porch, even in late July, was relaxing. I only wish we could have stayed longer than four nights. We will definitely be back. Thank you Lauraine.

Truly a bit of paradise

The photos of this property do not do it justice. The location is beautiful and was perfect retreat for our hectic wedding weekend. The unit was spacious, clean, comfy, and perfect for our family of five. Lauraine was wonderful to work with, very responsive, and made sure we were well taken care of. My kids loved petting horses, swimming in the pool, and exploring the grounds. We loved sitting on the porch in the morning or in afternoon during the many rainstorms that happen in Florida during the summer months. I cannot recommend this place enough! We will definitely stay there again.

Wonderful Experience

We had a wonderful experience at the ranch! My son absolutely LOVES McDreamy, the miniature horse - and we loved Spur & Swen. It was so peaceful being able to enjoy the horses, and the pool and the serenity that is Bits of Paradise. We'll be back for sure!

Peaceful Getaway

We spent 6 nights here on our Spring Break. The area is peaceful and beautiful. Unit B is located close to the stables in a bucolic setting. The unit was very clean and comfortable. We loved having coffee on the porch while watching the horses. We drove about 20 minutes to the beach each day. Since we were there when COVID-19 became a concern, we were so thankful to be staying away from the crowds. Our dog loved being with us. It is wonderful to be able to bring your pup. We've never stayed at a dog friendly place, partly for fear of smells and cleanliness. Rest assured, you'd never know that pets are allowed. No smell or hair! Lauraine is wonderful to work with and will give you lots of suggestions. We hope to return one day!

Outstanding rental property!!

Awesome stay at a great location! Location was great being a short trip to the beautiful beaches, or local malls, Myakka State park and many many more attractions. Went with family full of kids for spring break and to visit family. Very clean location with beautiful atmosphere, clean pool, cookout area and even the enjoyment of horses being boarded on premises. Very family friendly, quiet location that has endless possibilities of things to do. Owner is awesome and very friendly. Quick to respond if you have any questions or concerns which we had none. Also more than willing to help with suggestions on places to visit or things to do if new to visiting the area. Don’t miss out on renting here if you have the chance!

A Bit of Paradise was truly a lot of Paradise

Driving onto the property gave me a feeling of being in a secluded and lovely place with lush folliage and tall palm trees. But that was only part of the properites intrigue. Horse stables filled with beautiful and friendly horses, a welcoming pool and the lovely, large open accommadations with large bedrooms and 2 baths were the clincher. It was wonderful to bring my dog Trevor and have my granddaughters visit. We loved the easy access to the beaches (including a dog beach), to shopping and recreational facilities for all of us. We had everything we needed to feel at home in a lovely home. I stayed for 3 weeks then and have signed onto 2 months this year.
