GREAT VIEW/SETTING!! - Deep Water, Sleeps 8, pet friendly, near I-85

Lake Hartwell is absolutely gorgeous. Our home has just enough elevation to provide amazing views of Lake Hartwell and to provide you with a comfortable slope/walk to the private dock. It faces west, providing beautiful sunset views in the evenings and allowing you to sleep in a little each morning should you choose to do so.

Located only 1.5 miles from I-85 makes it convenient to just about every attraction the area has to offer. If you're bringing your boat, Harbor Light Marina is less than 2 miles away, providing access to a boat ramp, a gas dock, and any boating supplies you might need during your stay. Harbor Light Marina also has boats that can be rented during your stay at the lake.

Big water views without the big water traffic. It's far enough away from the main boating thoroughfare to provide a great place to enjoy the water without getting pounded by the waves of passing boats. Deep water providing a great place to swim right off the dock. You don't have to have a boat to enjoy the water off this dock.

Lake Hartwell is an amazing fishery as well, and this property is located right in the middle of some of the best fishing the lake has to offer. Gumlog Creek, Shoal Creek, Little Shoal Creek, Payne Creek, and Fair Play Branch are major creek arms all located within 5 miles of our dock. There are several major bridges, and two marinas within 5 miles, and most fishermen know the value of such locations when fishing a lake whether it's their first time on a lake or their 50th time on the lake.

If golf is your game, the area provides ample opportunities for any budget. Cateechee Golf Club is only 17 miles from this property, and was named one of Georgia's best by Golf Digest. Arrowhead Pointe Golf Course, named one of Georgia's best new golf courses, and Clemson University's Walker Course, another beautiful lake front course, are both within 38 miles of the property. For golfer's on a budget, there are another half dozen courses within 30 miles of this property on which you can play 18 holes for less than $30 which includes cart fees.

During football season, whether you're an ACC fan or an SEC fan, you're in luck. Clemson University's Death Valley is less than 30 miles away, and the University of Georgia's Sanford Stadium is less than 50 miles away.

Into hiking and waterfalls, the Blue Ridge parkway is less than 5 miles away, and it will lead you to countless hiking trails leading to some amazing waterfalls in Northern Oconee County, SC.

Interested in wine? There are some wonderful local vineyards in the area where you can tour the property and indulge in tastings!

And...

There's shopping. Just 30 miles away, you can find more shopping opportunities than most men, and some women, can possibly stand at the Tanger Outlet Center which has over 85 brand name outlets.

Wonderful stay - we will be returning!

My sister and I had the pleasure of renting this beautiful home for Spring Break, allowing our families to spend quality time together. We had a blast jumping off the dock, fishing, and the kids went rock hunting in the backyard daily. Additionally, we explored the local hiking trails. The house was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches, particularly the provision of laundry soap, which enabled us to conveniently wash our clothes during our stay. The kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to prepare meals daily. We look forward to returning, hopefully this summer. As a suggestion for families with young children, I recommend bringing a life jacket to ensure their safety while enjoying the dock area, as the water is quite deep.

Stop looking, this is the one!!

We have stayed at many properties over the years, and our list of requirements seems to get longer! If you are like us... This is the perfect place for you!! CLEAN!!! Dock is gorgeous, we appreciate the care and attention to detail. Location is easy, and civilization is close enough!! Views and water, stunning and warm! Marty Mcfly Miller Our little beagle boy, misses sitting on the deck and watching the squirrels, and lovely area to walk. The neighbors are kind and very welcoming! Juli and Andy were helpful and so nice about it too, with our t.v. issue. Thank-you. Exactly what we needed!

The home and property were amazing. It was everything we hoped for and more! The views were beautiful and swimming off the dock was so much fun. Me and my family loved our stay which made it that much harder to leave. Can't wait to come back!

Perfect Lake House

Perfect house for a week at the lake! We have stayed at many houses on Lakes and Bays, and this was one of the best! Would definitely book it again!

We have boated on many lakes in the Atlanta metro region and found Lake Hartwell to be the best! Whether you're into swimming, skiing, tubing, fishing, etc. this lake is for you. Water is very clean and does not have the boat traffic you would find on lakes closer to large metropolitan areas.
