This home's wide open floor plan with high ceilings was made for entertaining. Enjoy a fabulous water view from each entertaining space. Expansive covered/uncovered South-facing deck reveals panoramic beach views. Wake up to Gulf views from the Master en-suite featuring deck access. Access to Terramar's pool, water front pavilion, boat ramp & slips.

We also allow access to the Shipt account that has free deliveries from Kroger, Office Depot, Target, and CVS. Don't waste your trip running to the store. They will bring it all to you.

Kitchen accessories include blender, coffee pot, full cooking set up.

Outdoor space has charcoal grill, lounge chairs, and an outdoor shower.

Wifi, TV, plenty of games and toys. Beach chairs, toys, and boogie boards are stored in the downstairs storage and ready for use.

The house was beautiful. The lift was so helpful with all our groceries and luggage. The view from this house was amazing. The windows allows a water view from nearly everywhere!

Family Spring Break

We wanted a beachfront house and this house delivered. Access was a short path to the beach. The deck was so nice to sit and watch the waves roll in. The house had plenty of room for three generations. All the beach equipment I was appreciated. We had a great stay.

Girls Beach Trip

This property is AMAZING. Pictures were accurate and the beach views were spectacular. House is well kept including up to date kitchen appliances. We will definitely be back next year. Very roomy house.

Beautiful View

We had a wonderful time. The view was beautiful from the deck and large windows. Our family took walks on the beach, played games, and worked a puzzle. Thank you for letting us stay. We will be back.

Wonderful location to beach

Older beach front home. The host was very responsive to my difficulty issue entering the property. Not the cleanest or best kept property. All countertops in kitchen & bathrooms unclean. As well, trash under bed from previous visitors. Bedding sheets in disarray, ? Unchanged. Washer & dryer function well. Multiple light switches taped over. The WIFI was outstanding. The refrigerator was clean & functional except the ice maker & water spout. Fully well stocked kitchen. Functional Various kitchen appliances. The view of The Gulf & beach is spectacular!!! Great outdoor seating , enough for a dozen or more guests. All in all a very nice property with a sweet Christmas tree set up. Would recommend staying at this property.

Very nice location and overall a great experience

We really loved the location and the stay was comfortable. Check in and communications were fantastic. We will most definitely return even with a few flaws I am about to report.We found dead / semi-dead roaches around, that was a bit worrying. Once we took care of those, we didi not see more emerge during our stay. On arrival we saw the refrigerator was leaking water on the floor. Must be a old problem as the subfloor is giving when you walk in that area. We reported it right away and a repair person did show up the very next day. It was beyond his capability to repair so he shut the water supply to the fridge (not a big deal to us as we were not relying on the fridge for ice or cold water). The other small thing was all the hand soap containers were empty. Not a big deal, we purchased some and left them there for the next guest. The cargo lift was a blessing and should be highlighted as a feature. The rooms are great and the beds are comfortable. The gulf facing large outdoor patio is also a fantastic feature and should be highlighted more in the listing. Overall a wonderful experience. Thank you for making this home available for our family.

Perfect location

Wonderful view of the beach from the house. Ample seating area. The lift was a game changer to move in and out all of the supplies for our Thanksgiving feast. We will be back.

It was a little further than I anticipated from Galveston itself. As far as downtown area it’s about 30 minutes. But outside of that great community and quiet

Nice stay and as expected

The house was clean and beds were comfortable. It was easy to get to the beach and very quiet. We had no issues. We did try contacting someone about the tv one night. It wasn’t a big deal but we never heard back. All in all I would stay here again.

Long Labor Day Weekend

We loved the house, and the beach in front of the house was never crowded. The kitchen is well-stocked and the patio is awesome. The lift made loading and unloading very easy. We highly recommend staying here. Our only 2 criticisms are that there are not many tv channels, and the driveway flooded when it rained. Othewise a perfect stay, notwithstanding marginal weather.

Relaxing 2 night stay

We had a great stay at this property! The location is perfect—quiet and away from crowded beaches and heavy traffic. The house is cozy and has a homey feel. The primary bedroom and bathroom were a bit stuffy, even with the fan on and doors open, but the living area stayed nicely cool. We were there for just two nights to test a road trip with our dog, so we didn't use the beach amenities, pool, or cook much. There are fantastic, pet-friendly restaurants at the West End Marina, as well as Watermans and Lil' Buffalo Grill. For grocery needs, Seven Seas Grocery offers a better selection of meat and produce compared to Sea Isle, and it's a bit closer for a quick shopping trip. Overall, a great spot for a relaxing getaway!

Relaxing And Fabulous (Adult) Family Vacation!!

With one of our kids working in Michigan and the other currently living in Japan, it's hard to get all 4 of us together in the same place at the same time! But proposing a week at the beach and sharing the link to Barefeet Retreat made it easy! The house was immaculate when we arrived and little touches like small soaps, shampoos, disposable toothbrushes, dishwasher tabs and laundry pods were really nice. We had a very relaxing time. We finished 3 puzzles! And the kitchen had literally every (non food - although there were a few spices and such) appliance and utensil you could ever want or need. The size of the house and the amount of very nice furniture inside and out ensured all of us were always comfortable. I highly recommend this property if you are planning a trip to the beach! And last, but not least, the view from the back deck was spectacular!

In 2018, we had an opportunity come up to invest in Bare Feet Retreat (named by my college best friend and biggest life cheer leader) as place not only to make memories within our family but to share with others.
