This three bedroom, two bath home is a wonderful place to relax and rejuvenate, enjoy the surroundings and the location. Having the ability to admire a beautiful, groomed garden with lots of plants and pots, is just one more reason to consider a stay. The home is nestled under a large Live Oak Tree, providing plenty of shade. Most activities are reachable by foot or bike. The home is updated with brand new windows, facing greenery and peace. Tiles throughout with adorable kitchen and baths. The Ringling School of Art is within a few blocks, the supermarket and Sarasota Bay is just around the corner, downtown awaits you with great restaurants and shops (Whole Foods/Starbucks) are a 15 minute walk. The home has everything you need for a relaxed and healthful stay. The back garden area is fenced and private with lots of mature plants and flowers.
The Master Bedroom has a king size bed and the lanai is facing the back garden. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and the third bedroom a full size bed. There are TV's in the living room and one bedroom with internet connection throughout. A Tennis court is down the street for unlimited tennis playing . Beach towels and chairs are available for your convenience.

Yes, the host was accommodating and helpful. We enjoyed the close proximity to Sarasota Bay. Walking to the parks on the coast was very relaxing. The location of the property was also very convenient for shopping and sightseeing. Our stay at the Crab House definitely exceeded expectations.

Cozy and stylish cottage

Everyone in the family was happy with the house. I loved the decor and all the space saving features. I also loved the small room of the master and the back patio!! Our two teenage boys loved having their own rooms and the TV, of course, and caught up on movies when we were not at the beach. My husband is a fisherman, and it was great to be able to hose everything down when we got home. Este is a very gracious host and made sure we had more than everything needed to be comfortable and enjoy our stay. Thank you!

A true home away from home

First, I would like to point out that Este is an amazing homeowner! And last but not least, the Crab House is in short, AWESOME. It's clean, well decorated with nice furnishings and art work; plus, nice linens provided. The kitchen is equipped with all top of the line appliances and .... wait for it, supplied with water, flavored water and tea (cold); an a Keurig machine + coffee and cream! Este, thank you for taking such good care of your short term tenants and for making us feel, during our first week of the new year, in a home away from home!! My husband and I go to Sarasota at least 4 times per year (considering that town our retirement home). And we will definitely be staying with you again! Be blessed B&G

Great vacation!

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent visit to Sarasota! Central Cocoanut was a beautiful house with plenty of room for our family. The homeowners were very easy to communicate with and even gave recommendations for local places to visit. The house was clean, updated, well furnished and even had some snacks for us. We would definitely stay in this house again. The house rules are located on the shelf in the living room. We did not see those until several days into our visit. The only thing that we were surprised by was the renter living in the backyard but we did not run into him often. The homeowner quickly reassured me that’s who it was. We will definitely back to Sarasota. Thank you again for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home!

Beautiful home close to the sights

This was a wonderful property for my husband and I and our 15 month old twin boys. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and the refrigerator/freezer had plenty of room. We have to take a lot of down time with the boys and couldn’t have picked a better/relaxing home. The back patio is a delight. We spent a lot of time back there after the kiddos went to bed. We decided last minute we wanted to stay an extra night and Esther was accommodating and made the process easy. I highly recommend this home if you’re on the fence, do it, I promise you’ll be happy with the outcome.

Loved the Crab house!

We all really enjoyed this little place, it was very comfortable, and just the right size for us. We loved the decorating, all the renovations were well done and it's just an adorable little cottage. Very centrally located as well, we didn't spend much more than 10 min. in the car going most places. Would definitely go back!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The property is perfect for a couple with two children as there is a master bedroom with a bath and two other bedrooms which share a bath. The backyard is a nice little setting to unwind. Esther was very accommodating and responsive.

The house was nice. Ceiling fans don't go fast at all to help circulation of air. Loved the kitchen. Bed in master is very soft, not good if you have a bad back or like harder beds. Outside patio and back porch very nice. Great for you to relax. Location is close to all shops and close to very good restaurants. If you have any questions or problems the owner lives next door.

This unit has all the modern conveniences and is beautifully decorated. It is central to the all the places you want to see. Property manager Esther was very helpful, we locked ourselves out in the back garden, just after we got there! Lol! We will stay there again!

Adorable little house

This was the nicest property we have ever rented in Florida. The place was adorable. The owner has a wonderful flair for design. BUT, the greatest thing was the way the house was equipped. First, it is furnished with toiletries similar to a hotel. The kitchen has everything, including a Kurig coffeemaker and the canisters to go in it The owner is so welcoming and answered all of our questions including the best restaurants where to eat It was a perfect close get away for us and we would come back again and again.

Very clean, modern comfortable house close to downtown with a cute backyard.

The house was clean and big enough to have 3 bedrooms and two baths. Close to downtown and everything at your fingertips from the beach to shopping or just take a walk.Owner was very accommodating and friendly. House was cooled nicely and had an updated kitchen. Bedrooms nice size. Hangout room large screen tv with dish network.We had to evacuate Myrtle Beach because of hurricane Florence and spent five nice relaxing days in Sarasota. I would stay here again .
