Seascape,Art Deco cottage

Two bedroom Art Deco cottage on 6 acre estate. Minutes from ocean and downtown amenities in the village of Chester. There are some great places to eat such as N.S.oldest pub The Focsile tavern, Kiwi Cafe and White's Gate fine dining. The village has some very unique shops such as Chez Glass, Light my fire and the Emporium shop. Also the village offers beauty salons, a bank and the famous Chester playhouse. On the other end of the road is the grocery store and n.s.liquor commission. Located 5 minutes away by car is the Chester golf course which has a fabulous restaurant and beautiful view of the islands and ocean. The cottage offers a fully equipped kitchen, T.V.,cable and Wi-Fi. Barbeque, lawn chairs provided. No pets and no smoking allowed. Priced per week $1200.00. (Closed from Dec.-May)

The cottage was comfortable, quiet and fully equipped. Its interior decoration is strikingly unique. Kim and Gary are very pleasant, available and helpful when needed. It is a perfect place for a restful holiday.

Beautiful setting

The cottage is located in an idyllic setting close to all that Chester has to offer. Very comfortable with lots of quirky and unusual pieces. Really appreciated the supply of condiments, spices, sugar coffee etc provided.Great sound system with a good selection of music.The cottage has everything you need for a great stay.

Great property and location; very walkable area. Kitchen well-stocked. Comfortable bed; good shower. 15 minute walk to Kiwi Cafe! Hosts very nice, accommodating, and helpful. Enjoyed the entertainment.

My home away from home for an entire month! The location made it easy to plan day trips, and coming back at the end of the day was something to look forward to as well. Set in a quiet, wooded area, the peacefulness Hosts Kim and Garry were like family, making sure I had everything I needed to be comfortable. They live on the property, yet their presence was never intrusive. I was always happy to trade quips with Garry or while away some time with Kim on the stoop.If you have an opportunity to book this place, do not hesitate to do so!

Great stay at Gary and Kim's cottage in Chester

Gary and Kim couldn't be nicer or more accommodating. Their place was comfortable and beautifully furnished. The Village of Chester was charming and we were able to walk to its center from our very private spot in a wooded area. During our week there we took easy day trips to Halifax, Lunenburg, Peggy's Cove, and Digby (the farthest drive, 2 hours away).

Wonderful Week in Chester!

We had a wonderful and relaxing week in Chester. Our hosts, Kim and Garry were the best! Anything that was needed was quickly addressed. The property is quiet, private and lovely. A walk to the Chester waterfront is easy and enjoyable. We used this cottage as a convenient location to make day trips to Halifax and the surrounding seaside towns. We had a wonderful stay and would have no hesitation to return.

"Sea Scape" Chester, Nova Scotia

We had a great, relaxing holiday. The cottage was fully equipped, very cozy and situated in a beautiful country setting. The owners of the property were awesome and very friendly and accommodating. This cottage is close to everything. Within a walk to the village of Chester on the Ocean, beautiful beaches, a short drive to Halifax and Lunenburg where you can spend an awesome day, sight seeing, whale watching, museums, etc. The landscraping is absolutely beautiful down East and we highly recommend this location "Sea Scape", Chester, Nova Scotia.

Peaceful Vacation

This is a beautifully decorated, well equipped cottage in a quiet setting. Occasionally deer will wander onto the lawn and pheasants are seen almost daily. It is well situated close to such attractions as Peggy's Cove, Halifax, Mahone Bay, Lunenburg and beautiful drives along the ocean.
