This cabin incorporates plenty of outdoor amenities with an accommodating interior to give you the perfect hill country vacation. Enjoy the fire pit placed at the back of the cabin for your privacy. Allow yourself to relax at the end of each day in your own private hot tub, just steps away from the fire pit. Indoors, lounge on the incredibly comfy couch and chairs in front of the classic stove fireplace. Enjoy meals with loved ones at the four seat dining table. With a fully equipped kitchen adjacent to the dining area, this spacious and welcome living and dining area will make you feel right at home.

Venture onto the back porch and discover views of the valley and the incredible greenery that surrounds the home. For the early risers, sit and enjoy a breathtaking sunrise looking out over the hill country. On a cold night, gather around the fire pit and enjoy quality time with loved ones. As your day draws to a close, rest your head in one of the two bedrooms. With the master bedroom having glass sliding doors with porch access, you can embrace all the wonders of nature right from your room.

Being so close to the center of town will make your trip all the more enjoyable; with convenient access to Jacob’s Well, the town square, and many local wineries and restaurants, The Summit is your destination to experience a little bit of everything our little part of Texas has to offer.

Great stay. If you plan on cooking a lot., you may want to bring some kitchen supplies. But it was a great stay. STUNNING view. Its a cozy and comfortable spot. It was close to the square and Jacobs well. Which were the things we wanted to do.

Cold weather but nice and cozy home

We rode motorcycles up to Wimberly in freezing weather.. hot tub was on and ready. The home was nice and warm. Rode to HEB and picked up firewood.. you need to bring firewood if you want to make use of fireplace and outdoor chiminea. Bed was very comfortable. Used uber service once .. nice and quick pick up. I would stay here again.

Perfect Getaway

Great place to getaway and visit the Wimberley area! Hot Tub was nice and rooftop deck had spectacular views! Short distance from great breweries!

The Summit

Great location! Gorgeous views! Loved the hot tub and the fire pit. The place was very clean and pretty and comfortable. We had a great time and would recommend it to anyone! And we will be back as well.

Gorgeous View

This was our first trip to Wimberley. The house was perfect and as described. Close to everything but very secluded. We spent most of our time out on the decks. The views were absolutely gorgeous. We would definitely book this house again on our next to Wimberley!

It’s a beautiful home located in a nice neighborhood but you feel like your in the mountains somewhere! 100% recommend for all ages and retreats! We can’t wait to come back ourselves .

Great comfy get away.

We had a great time in this cozy house in the woods. Great amenities and extremely close to everything we wanted to visit in Wimberly particularly The Square. The star gazing at night was a amazing and pet friendly was a huge plus. My only critiques are the hot tub could use a slight cleanup and the king size bed has seen better days but we still enjoyed our time and would stay again when we return to the area. Thanks for the great stay.

Great spot for a weekend in Wimberley

We stayed here for a weekend at the end of July with and it was perfect. Plenty of room for the 6 of us. My two kids loved having their own space in the utility room. The view from the top deck is beautiful and the location was great, just a quick 5 minute drive into the town of Wimberley. Overall wet loved it and would definitely come back!

Everything we expected!

We arrived at the property and absolutely loved it! The morning view from the rooftop deck is just stunning. Everything was clean and all the necessities were provided. The proximity to town was icing on the cake! We thoroughly enjoyed our 28th anniversary get-away!

Nice Getaway

Cozy little spot nestled away in a quiet neighborhood with amazing views from the deck. Easy checkin and prompt management response. Only suggestion is to fence in the property for that added security.

Outdoor Living

Great location right next to everything and gorgeous views! We were a little disappointed at the cleanliness of the property and the outdated pictures online, but if you’re a fan of camping and the outdoors with a little vintage vibe, then this is the house for you! I would like to reiterate there’s no dishwasher and we found several dirty dishes from past residents. You also definitely need to buy a fly swatter or two and I might not recommend staying here for toddler and younger, but older kids would love the fusbol table and hot tub!

Wimberly Get Girls Away

I stayed the weekend with my daughter, daughter-in-law, and her mother to celebrate our girls turning 30! The location was terrific, and I enjoyed the upper deck, lower deck, and beautiful views. We did not use the hot tub or sun porch. The house was clean, and the beds were comfortable. There are two things I would note: The sun porch has an unpleasant odor, but the house is perfect! The kitchen faucet sprays water everywhere when washing dishes! I would recommend this property to anyone who does not want to use the sun porch to sleep.

GREAT SHORT STAY AT WIMBERLEY for 1 year anniversary

The Summit was an amazing getaway! The kitchen is equipped with the essentials, though I ALWAYS RECOMMEND to clean all utensils before you use them. They provided all the cleaning supplies so it made it very easy to clean up. ALSO, the kitchen sink does work it’s just motion sense. (Open it by pulling the handle to the right and then waving your hand over the sensor (a black square at the base of sink faucet) and wave again to turn it off. If you don’t open it by moving the handle to the right it will not release water. After you’re done close it by moving the handle back to the left) The terrace at the top of the house a a must! The stars look very beautiful. The hot tub is also really warm and the controls are easy to use. The hot tub had sand from the previous tenants, but that was no problem to us. The outdoor seating was so beautiful. The property is pretty private though you technically have neighbors but they’re covered by the big trees. Suggestions: Add a cap or a mesh cap to the shower drain. Our first night there was a scorpion in the bathtub and I was very scared. Luckily they provided RAID spray so getting rid of it was easy. Also, cleaning it after was easy as they had bathtub spray and scrubbers. There are two doors (outside and inside) so ensure they are both locked! The outside window has a mesh screen that is a little open so if you don’t want bugs to get into the house CLOSE BOTH DOORS.

Poor Cleanliness and Extra Agreement

Some things to point out not on the listing. After booking there is a background check. No biggie, I understand protecting your property. A couple of weeks before check-in I received a text saying I needed to sign the rental agreement. I missed an email that did not come from VRBO. They specifically have a place to upload rental agreements, so why is this not displayed in the listing? The 2nd agreement sent includes a slightly different cancellation policy, damage insurance is mandated ($10,000 content, $1,000,000 damage). No day guests allowed without authorization and a long list of rules. No biggie. We did have 2 friends meeting us for grilling on day 2 (locals) so I added them for authorization. I was then charged $50 for these guests. So annoyed a bit. If not signed you receive no refund. On arrival, the pictures do not live up to reality. The place was not clean. Dirt and muddy footprints in the jacuzzi. Stains on carpets. Yellow staining in bathroom and dirty shower. The toilet was not filling from the first use (as mentioned in other reviews) and needed tinkering. It was gross and needs updating. We did not shower day 2 to avoid. Honestly, we travel a lot and this is the first time I took the time to give a negative review as I was angry. They are for some reason not transparent, and the poor hygiene standards were a deal breaker. Also there is a $50 surcharge per hour early/late checkout that is not listed in the agreement but on a rule sheet in the rental.

Convenient location in wimberley

This property was good. Was a little more rustic than it looked in the listing but generally good. The bed was comfortable views were nice and the air con really kept it cool. Kitchen had most all the necessities to be functional but wasn’t the most well equipped or updated space. No dishwasher. The location was nice and convenient to town but it was pretty close tothe main road and there was some highway noise. Bathroom needs a major update.

Birthday getaway

This was a wonderful place to stay for a nice, peaceful getaway in the hill country. The place was cozy and warm. The place was vey clean and well kept. Beautiful view from the top porch. Would definitely stay there again.
