The kitchen is stocked with baking dishes, mixing bowls, casseroles, and serving ware, and these items are used regularly by other guests. The internet is provided by Bell and has supported remote work for many past guests, including extended stays. The cottage uses a UV-filtered lake water system, which is safe for drinking. As a personal preference disclosure (clearly communicated after booking), guests who prefer bottled water are welcome to bring their own. This is common for lakefront properties. To clarify, the downstairs patio door is equipped with a working latch and lock. The wooden dowel is supplied as an optional added layer of security, not a substitute for a lock. While we respect all feedback, this review is not representative of the experience most guests have. The property maintains a 9/10 overall rating, and we are a Superhost on another platform, based on many stays over several years. Like any home or seasonal cottage, there are occasional minor items that require maintenance. However, the property does not have major or numerous repairs outstanding, as suggested, and we actively maintain the cottage to a high standard.
