Riley Crest - Oceanview, walk to beach, modern, air conditioned - loft

Riley Crest is a modern, comfortable, open-concept cottage with amazing ocean views and access to a beautiful (secluded) beach. It is located in the popular Sea View community on the north shore of Prince Edward Island.

As you enter the large foyer you immediately have a direct view of the ocean through expansive glass doors. Through those doors, you step onto the ocean front deck with large Adirondack chairs under the shady pergola, over-sized and very comfortable club chairs, a BBQ, picnic table and stone fire-pit just down the main stairs.

From the foyer your bedroom/bathroom/laundry wing is to the left. The spacious, bright and luxe main living area is to the right. A sliding barn door closes the bedroom wing off from the rest of the cottage to allow for a quieter area when the kids are in bed, but the evening is not yet over for the adults.

The entire main living space (air conditioned) has white-washed pine ceilings that run from 8' high at the back to 11' high on the ocean side and offer an expansive yet cozy cottage atmosphere. The custom kitchen provides a beautiful 7' island (with extra seating), a custom-made trestle dining table with banquette and traditional seating, a large awning window above the sink, high-end slate appliances, open shelving for easy access, a food pantry and oodles of extra storage space.

The family room has a propane fireplace, a 55" smart TV, comfortable sectional sofa, 2 chairs, a desk (for the working vacationer) and direct access to the huge ocean front deck. The family room is true to its name and includes a cozy kids corner with a games/puzzle table and floor poufs. The entire front side of the cottage looks out to the ocean through a wall of windows and 7.5' patio doors between the dining and family rooms. The large windows on the fireplace wall overlook the Island's countryside and rolling hills - the best of both worlds for a great view!

Riley Crest sleeps 6 people. There is a master bedroom with a king bed and full ensuite and the large second bedroom has 2 queen beds (and a smart TV). A second full (main) bath is outside the Queen bedroom and the full-size washer and dryer are just outside the main bath (in the wide hallway).

The cottage is complete with air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen, full-size washer and dryer, wifi, satellite, bed linens, towels, beach towels, beach chairs, beach toys, an outdoor shower, a BBQ, a picnic table for outdoor or messy dining and a bonfire pit.
