    Property is exactly as described. While there isn’t air conditioning, we did fine without it by opening windows. Beach access is directly across the street. Those from out of the area may not realize it is a deep beach, meaning that there is a bit of small sand dunes to walk through to reach the water. So just a short hike. Quiet neighborhood. Excellent communication from the host/property manager.

    Great Property and Location

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It's a nice house. beautiful kitchens and bathrooms. The reason I would not recommend or stay again,The furniture in both living/tv areas very uncomfortable. For gathering and chatting or watching tv, terrible. Master up top, no nightstands. No hand towels bathroom, just washcloths. Upper patio deceiving, needs higher chairs, once you sit down, no view.

    The house is beautiful. All amenities we needed were provided. Beds were very comfortable. Area is quiet and well maintained. Nice quiet, walking beach steps from the house. Close to Channel Islands. We also found an amazing coffee shop nearby!

    Quiet Getaway

    We had a great time at this property! The neighborhood is very quiet and easy to bike or walk to coffee/restaurants. It was a really great spot! East beach access and the house was comfortable and super clean!

    Beach holiday dream!!

    We stayed at this property with 2 families visiting from Australia (9 people). We had the most amazing time celebrating Christmas here. The kitchen was fully stocked with every kitchen appliance, serving, cooking equipment that we could wish for. We walked to the beach which was directly across the road and enjoyed playing volleyball. The garage was stocked with beach holiday equipment, that meant everyone was entertained. The roof top area was magnificent for afternoon drinks. Thank you for a trip that we will remember forever.

    Great location and space for 8

    We enjoyed our stay and it’s proximity to the sand, ocean and harbor. The roof deck was awesome for hanging out eating and bbq. With a gorgeous view. The main areas were spacious as well. Our only complaint is that the supplies of basic household items such as dishwasher soap. Salt and detergent were lacking. Some of the furniture was shabby, but the beds were xcomfortable. Overall it served out multigenerational family trip very well.

    Great location and house!

    Our stay was for a family vacation. The house had lots of room for us and was close to the beach. The best beach was Silver Screen, which is a 5 minute drive. The kitchen was easy to cook in, bedrooms laid out to accommodate kids and adults. Nice views. Downsides--the dishwasher didn't work and the repair person didn't work on that brand, so we were left to clean our own dishes (for 7 people). A bathroom sink was clogged--the repair person did fix that immediately. We had to hunt around for the extra sheets and towels.

Beautiful ocean views indoors and from full rooftop deck. Furniture layout left plenty of uncluttered room while always providing a comfortable place to relax. Newly listed property could use binder for operation of amenities such as fireplaces, big-screen TV's. Garage full of fabulous beach toys from little kid (sand toys) to big kid (paddle boards and kayaks). Great getaway!

    Spacious, clean, and across the street from the beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is very spacious with three stories, four bedrooms, and a rooftop terrace. The beach is right across the street. We came for Thanksgiving and the kitchen is very well appointed for cooking. We wished that the beautiful and spacious master suite had a king size bed (my brother, sister-in-law, and 2-year-old niece slept there). There is a king size bed in the bedroom on the second floor that was comfortable (where my husband and I stayed). We did not use any of the beach equipment but appreciated that there were kayaks, beach chairs, and bicycles available for use. The house was very clean and in good condition.

We had a power outage our first night which caused the sensor alarm to beep...called agency and they connected us to the power company to rest assure us that this would be taken care of. Only two minor issues, this property listed 3 baths, one was not working and dishwasher not working. One suggestion, ceiling fans would be nice even though large windows open, at night with no breeze it was a bit warm. But overall loved the place! Thanks!

    Not as Advertised on Rental site, Disappointing Condition.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this property for my mum's 80th birthday & 10 members of our family stayed. Our goal was to spend time at the house & at the beach & BBQ much of the weekend. Upon arriving we found that the home slept 8 not ten as advertised..disappointing for the family members who had to sleep on couches that did not fold out.The home appeared tidy but not well maintained. The carpet on the stairway & upstairs had several stains, some of which were quite large mading it hard to miss the overall poor condition ... the carpet should absolutely be replaced. Continuing up to the rooftop, as you exit the upstairs room, the enclosed stairway has a windowsill that is so noticeably filthy. Not sure what the cleaning crew are required to clean as each guest leaves but it was apparent this was not an item on their list.The biggest disappointment was the condition of the patio/rooftop, which is completely different from the patio picture posted on the rental website. No pretty blue cushions to sit on & certainly no bright shiny BBQ. What was there was an old filthy rusted BBQ with only two working burners & that was only possible because my husband & brother in-law worked on it for over an hour to get two burners working, try cooking Tri-tip & chicken for 10 people on two burners... There are a few other things but I think you now have an idea of the condition of the home. To the owners: Understanding the amount of money your guests are paying, give them the rental experience they the very least; buy a new BBQ & new comfortable patio furniture for the rooftop, replace your carpet & if you are going to advertise sleeps 10, buy two fold out couches & finally, hire professional cleaners to perform a deep cleaning of the home. Your guests deserve what you advertised, not this. The best thing about this home is its location.Please note, my family & I have stayed at many VRBO & Airbnb's, this is my first Negative review.

    This is a fantastic vacation spot. The house is lovely with lots of space and great views from the top floor and rooftop deck. There are bikes, kayaks and beach chairs for use in the garage. The location was wonderful- right across the street from a quiet beach and a short walk to the shopping center (where there is a farmer's market on Sundays). Overall, we had a wonderful stay at this property.

    Magnificent home right at the beach.

    Gorgeous property, multiple great places for groups to congregate, roof deck with spectacular views. Fully stocked with everything you need, easy walk to the beach. Top floor suite is spectacular too.

    Beautiful home, great views, amazing neighborhood

    Just finished a few days at this terrific property. We enjoyed the rooftop breezes from the beach as we watched the sailboats cruise by in the marina and as they headed out to open water.Oxnard is terrific - close enough to L.A. but not nearly the mad pace.We were able to walk to the coffee shop, enjoy the park areas and beach, and the fresh fruit at the farmers market was the freshest imaginable. House was clean and well equipped with the common expected items - so thankful for the warm welcome and comfortable stay!
