The property had everything we wanted and more. It was beautifully appointed, had every comfort we could ask for, spotlessly clean and very well located. We had an absolutely wonderful weekend and won't hesitate to return.
The property is a fabulous country cottage in the heart of town and short walking distant to everything you want in Millthorpe. Everyone enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to you if staying in the area. Welcoming touch from the owners of a local wine and chocolate was much appreciated. Dinner at Tonic was great and we enjoyed the local markets. Definitely go again.
The bedrooms - beds, storage, ambience and linens were perfect in every way. Property is close to everything. Gardens very pretty and peaceful. Whole house can be made very warm and cosy. A good kitchen. Easy to find your own space to read, reflect etc. We would recommend this home to others : )
I loved that there is a guitar there too!
A lovely, character-full cottage in a perfect location. Extremely well equipped and decorated with an eclectic mix of decor items. Such a cosy, warm place to return to after a day of sightseeing, eating and wine tasting. Spotless as well. Communication with the owner was efficient and professional. If you are fortunate enough to stay here be sure to dine at “Tonic” just up the road. Equally impressive.
We all really enjoyed our stay at Speckled Nest House. The house was spotless, well furnished and equipped, and really comfortable. Lovely and light on the sunny mornings, and warm and cosy on the chilly evenings.
Very much enjoyed my stay. Very pretty town and house was functional and warm. Thanks for the use of the fireplace - helped to dry some very wet cloths. Hope to visit again
Easy check in- fantastic location with a 1 minute stroll into town to great shops, cafes and three cellar doors. Great off street and covered parking. Very clean home and comfy beds.
Millthorpe has great cafes and Tonic restaurant was outstanding as was our meal at the recently re-opened Commercial Hotel.
This home has a fantastic verandah out the back with views to town- can highly recommend
We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend to Millthorpe. The Speckled Nest house was just perfect. Great amenities, and beautifully decorated/styled. Felt like a home away from home. Would definitely recommend.
Couldn’t have asked for a better spot and house. Beds were super comfy too.

Well appointed. Chocolates and bottle of wine were a nice surprise. Comfortable beds and furniture. Loved the fluffy towels!
Want to come back in warmer weather so we can sit outside on the back deck or in the yard!

A wonderful place to stay great for couples or families
We loved our stay and thought the house was very well presented. Everyone enjoyed the space and gardens, we sipped champagne on the deck and were very surprised by the owners thoughtfulness in supplying a few essentials like mills and crisps. Excellent overall. Could not fault. Will come again
