About this property

Large upstairs detached garage apartment. Main house is on Lake Granbury in a sheltered cove, with private dock.

The Bent Oaks Treehouse is ready for short or long term stays: business or leisure travel, features a full kitchen, living room (sleeper couch) laundry room and master bedroom (king bed).

The Treehouse has internet, flat screen tv, Dish Network, DVD Player and WiFi. Master suite includes a large bathroom with two sinks and tiled walk-in shower. Long-term guests will appreciate the laundry room, large closet, iron and ironing board and extra rollaway bed.

Relax and enjoy. We are minutes away from the historic Granbury town square. See live shows at the Opera House and "Granbury Live" venues. Afterwards, enjoy casual eateries, or try fancy dining at Christina’s, 1890, or Farina’s, and browse the quaint shops.

Fish off our private dock, play in the water on our kayaks and paddle boards, golf at nearby courses, or just relax on the balcony porch and watch the birds.

There is ample on site free parking for your vehicle. If you bring a boat, we have plenty of room for you to tie up at our dock, plus space for your boat trailer, if needed.

We are on a sheltered cove, so there is only minimal wave action, but it’s smart to bring a few fenders to protect your boat.

Minimum stay is two nights. For longer term stays we offer significant discounts.

Not as advertised

This is not a lake property. It is a property relatively close to a lake. There is NO lake view, but the photos & listing certainly imply that there is. The only view you have from your balcony is of the owner’s house. You cannot see the lake at all. This is not a Vacation Rental, but a B&B. The owner, while nice, lives on the property. You do not have direct lake access. You have to go in the owners back yard & share the lake with them & their 2 dogs - one of which “will probably lick you and the other will nip at you” according to the owner. Instead of getting keys/code we were contacted by the owner to see when we would be at their place so he could meet us because he had a dentist appointment. We were awakened each morning by the owner opening the garage below us. To be fair, the pics of the actual living quarters interior are accurate. It is very nice inside & well appointed. If you are looking for a B&B, this is a nice place. However, if you are looking for a vacation rental with some degree of privacy & your own lake access, this ain’t it! We needed a getaway from people for a few days & were sorely disappointed. We would have had much better lake access for about 1/2 the price by staying at the Hilton in town. Please remove this listing from VRBO, as it is not that.

Relaxing waterfront suite

Very clean and well-stocked with many personal touches. Having access to the water toys was an extra amenity that we enjoyed so much. Mac and Belinda were gracious and friendly hosts. We highly recommend this property.

Wonderful Sanctuary

Our stay at Bent Oaks Treehouse was wonderful from beginning to end. Our hosts were very generous and accommodating. The property was a sanctuary away from the daily busy routine. We enjoyed the time there playing in the lake with our granddaughters. They had a blast!

Very Enjoyable. Comfortable seating on boat dock at back of house with great views of the lake and sunset. The space is relatively new construction with nice features. Hosts were friendly and very helpful! Would definitely stay again.

Stayed for work! It was very clean, stress free, quiet and hospitable owners. Low traffic lake access. Beautifully decorated with a fantastic view and location!
