Explore the wonders of Michigan's Harbor Country while staying in our relaxing private home, The Getaway. A few minutes walk to charming shops, restaurants, and event venues including Journeyman Distillery, The Acorn Theater, and The Social Club in Three Oaks. Three Oaks is just a ten minute drive from the beautiful beaches of Lake Michigan and thirty-five minutes to Notre Dame. Enjoy the small town lifestyle and find your own moment to getaway.

The Getaway is a 3 bedroom 1.5 bathroom two story single family home. The upstairs hosts two queen size bedrooms and on the first story is an open layout kitchen, dining, and living room along with another bedroom featuring a daybed and trundle for two twin beds and bathrooms complete with laundry for your use.

Access to the entire house and outdoor space including front porch, rear deck and screened in porch. Large yard with cooking fire pit and bocce (supplied).

Interaction with guests will be via e-mail, text or phone with self check-in.

Guests will receive a code for the front door and host interaction will be limited to provide a private getaway.

A nice experience!

House was very clean and the hosts clearly considered the experience of their guests, from leaving hot-tub specific towels, to a deck of cards for games, to snack bags & a bottle of wine in the kitchen, to tasteful outdoor lighting with a privacy fence around the hot tub. Why they chose this property

The journey to Three Oaks started with a trip to Journeyman Distillery while planning our wedding. If you're looking in the Southwest Michigan area Warren Hall at Journeyman Distillery is hard to beat. The Getaway gave us a blank canvas to update to our liking and after a bit of renovation and some personal mementos what you now see is our first of three simultaneous rehabs.

What makes this property unique

The communal layout of this home is accentuated by the rustic beams between the living and dining room. In our best Johanna Gaines impression we removed a non-supporting wall and installed these decorative beams. Fun fact they were pulled from a barn in Southwest Michigan that my grandfather used to own!
