What a cool experience staying in the cabin. All the modern conveniences and comfort in a 200 year old log cabin. Plenty of acreage for your dog to run. Awesome pond on property to hang out by. My wife, puppy and myself were all very comfortable.

You might want to check some light bulbs working but it might be plug in not working well. There is also an alarm that rings at midnight that we could not find. Loved your cabin and decor and it was peaceful and quiet.

We only stayed for one night coming home from Florida, however, it was the cutest little cabin and very peaceful/relaxing! My kids loved the loft where one of the beds was located, but it does need to be noted that the only way to get to that loft is by way of a wooden ladder. It is sturdy, but if you are older or have some physical disabilities/limitations, you just need to be aware of that. The master bedroom is easily accessible and the beds were very comfortable. I really appreciated the owners labeling everything in the house with clear instructions. I was also pleasantly surprised to see that they provided a lot of essentials, like coffee, creamer, condiments, waters, etc. Their communication was very good as well! We would definitely stay here again.

The cabin was very clean. Our host communicated with us quickly. We were able to park two SUV’s at the cabin, although the Suburban stuck out into the driveway a little. Each room had a separate air conditioning unit which allowed us to set the desired temperatures for each family. The only real negative was that my brother-in-law is over six feet tall and he could not stand up straight in the kitchen because the ceiling is so low. He also had some difficulty with the low shower head. All in all, the cabin was cozy and allowed us to spend time together.

Cheryl was such a joyful host, and went out of her way to come greet us when we arrived and came the day before our departure to hug us goodbye, which was such a personal touch. We really enjoyed getting to meet and interact with Cheryl. The cabin was perfect for our stay and gave me the time I needed to simply breathe and live in the moment and find healing from a traumatic experience. We enjoyed roasting hot dogs & marshmallows for smores right outside the cabin, as I brought a little CityBonfire with us. There was a firepit by the lake, but because my mother walks with a walker, it was just easier for us to have our little bonfire right at the cabin. We drank lots of apple cider with whipped topping and enjoyed the flavors of Fall. I loved hearing the rooster crowing and dogs barking in the distance. I'd also like to say how much I love the fact that this cabin has a dvd player. It is so hard to find a cabin that has a dvd player anymore, and this was one of the reasons why I chose this cabin. Another thing I really got a kick out of were the dinner plates and matching mugs with the log cabin design! I actually am going to look online to see if I can find the same ones, I'd love to have those at home! We had a wonderful time, just wish we could have stayed longer. I would definitely come stay again. Thank you again Cheryl for such professional and personal hospitality. It was a delight getting to chat with you! Your cabin was exactly what my family and I needed! Thank you!
