Luxury Manhattan Duplex, 3 BR, 2.5 Bath&Garden-flexible length of stay available
CONTACT OWNER FOR FLEXIBILITY WITH DATES AND LENGTH OF STAY This luxury 3-bedroom artist’s duplex with 2-1/2 bathrooms, and outdoor garden sits within exclusive Strivers Row, a stunning landmarked neighborhood in Upper Manhattan’s vibrant Harlem district.
1500 square feet with an open living-kitchen-dining plan and 3 master bedrooms! One bedroom with a king bed (with en-suite full bathroom) and two bedrooms with queen beds (one with en-suite half-bathroom and the other with its own full bathroom). All with high-end mattresses and fine linens.
This landmarked townhouse and its surrounding homes were designed by legendary architects Stanford White and Bruce Price, of the famed McKim, Mead & White architectural firm, at the turn of the 20th century. This particular townhouse was recently gut-renovated with high-end appliances, washer/dryer, large-screen smart TVs, Sonos music system, and high-end appliances, finishes and decor. Owner is an artist and the home showcases her impressive photography collection.
You can’t beat the location for immersion in New York City culture, history, and night-life—located close to the Apollo Theatre, Minton’s Playhouse (the oldest standing jazz club in the country), the Studio Museum, Alexander Hamilton’s house, Marcus Samuelsson’s Red Rooster restaurant, Ginny’s Supper Club, the Museum of the City of New York, the Audubon Society, gospel churches, and countless jazz clubs, soulful speakeasys, and trendy restaurants with creative cuisine and soulful vibes.
Fabulous location. Just two blocks from St. Nicholas Park and walking distance from Riverside Park. And, convenient to the A, B, C, D, 2, and 3 trains, it is easy to get to Broadway and downtown Manhattan. Also close to the Harlem train station, a more manageable alternative to catching the train at Grand Central Station.
Convenient to important NYC events and institutions: Only 2 blocks from the path of the New York City Marathon, close to Columbia University and Medical Center, Mt Sinai Medical Center, and City College, easy access to Yankee Stadium (via the B train) which is the location not only for baseball but also NYU’s graduation ceremony, and just down the hill from the Empire State Trail, the 750-mile bike route that connects lower Manhattan to Canada!

About the host
Hosted by Alane McNulty

Hello, New York City traveler! I am a photographer, my husband Paul is a tech investor and we have 3 kids. We are an active and fun-loving family who enjoy the outdoors as much as we love the culture, diversity, food, art and energy of New York.
Why they chose this property
After many years on the Upper West Side, we wanted more varied food and entertainment options and a cooler vibe. We found it in Harlem and then spent two years looking for the perfect house in the perfect neighborhood. Strivers Row, where our townhouse is located, is special. We gut renovated the historic home with a design we call "soulful contemporary!" Come visit and find out for ourselves!
