We recently remodeled this rustic A-Frame cabin near Yellowstone National Park in summer 2018 and we couldn't be more excited to have YOU stay in it as one of our first guests!

This cozy cabin is located just walking distance from Henry's Lake with access to both the lake and Henry's Lake Outlet (river)! Bring your canoes and kayaks!

The view out the back windows onto the deck make for the best evenings! You'll enjoy relaxing in hammocks as the sun goes down behind the massive Mt. Sawtelle!

Welcome to our favorite place in the world - Island Park!

This comfy and cozy Island Park A-frame cabin is just 20 minutes away from Yellowstone National Park in West Yellowstone! We sit a few hundred yards from Henry's Lake and all the great fishing that takes place there!

If you are planning a family vacation to Yellowstone, our cabin will provide wonderful memories for all!

Our cabin has a fantastic deck view of Mt. Sawtelle with a fire pit 🔥 in the back! It is only a few miles off the main highway.

We enjoy walks around the area. This has been a wonderful location for a cabin for many years!

Summer 2018 new renovations include:

Great Place for Family Trip

Rebecca was a wonderful host. Our check in was very straightforward and she was available if we had questions or needed anything. She checked in to see how our stay was going and really made us feel welcome. The house was great for families and had a travel crib, games and other useful items for traveling with children.

We all enjoyed our stay We were here to see Yellowstone and this house added to the experience. The drive from the A-frame to the park was very picturesque. I would love to come back and stay in the fall

Good launch pad for Yellowstone

Had a rough start that was almost a disaster. Upon arrival, interior door to property from garage was locked. We were only provided an exterior door code. Luckily, the front entrance doesn’t lock very well so we were able “break in”. Had it not been for this work around, we would have been extremely screwed given owner wasn’t reachable until the following day. Place is plenty roomy and I think there are actually more bedrooms than listed. We had a comfortable stay overall. Everything was clean and in working order. Really wish it had a dishwasher, as hand washing everything is a chore. My wife was bothered by no bathroom on second floor, which I didn’t find problematic. Overall, good stay and glad we picked it.

Yellowstone Getaway

Overall we had a great experience at this cabin. There was plenty of room for our group to spread out after a day in the park or enjoying the local area. The cabin was clean and had most everything we needed. The bedrooms and living areas have been updated and were comfortable. Important things to note about this property are the bathrooms and kitchen. Both bathrooms are downstairs, which for our group of older adults who visit the bathroom at night, was problematic to navigate the stairs at night. Night lights would have been helpful. The kitchen is very rustic. It had most everything we needed, except a dishwasher. But if you plan on making lots of meals beware. Overall, we enjoyed our time and would consider returning if we get back to the area.

Well-equipped home in idyllic setting

We were a group of 2 families with 4 young kids. There was plenty of space for everyone and it was great having 2 living spaces. The neighborhood is off the beaten track, but very beautiful. We loved the the home and would recommend!
