From the moment you step into our apartment, you will be absorbed by the gorgeous views that jump out at you - whether you are in the kitchen preparing a cocktail or lazing downstairs in the spa bath. You walk from the buggy port (buggy provided and included for your stay) straight into the apartment - great when you have luggage and children. Shorelines 34 is located between the marina and resort and enjoys the best sunsets on the island. Imagine yourself sitting back on the balcony, cooled by the overhead fan, sipping something cool and being absorbed by the colour and beauty around you.
The apartment comes with exclusive use of our buggy. Please read below important information about the buggy.
The kitchen is spacious, modern and well equipped with all the gadgets like a home away from home. We have a coffee machine that takes ground coffee (no grinder for beans). Supplies can be purchased from the IGA.
Our living room has a large television, DVD player and a sound system with blue tooth connectivity so you can listen to your own music. There is also a selection of movies, board games and books for your use when staying at our apartment. The upstairs balcony leads out from the living room and has a comfortable table and chairs where you can sit back and enjoy the wonderful views across the Whitsunday Passage. Of course, we have a barbecue. Most meals tend to be eaten out here.
Bedrooms are downstairs and each has its own bathroom. The master bedroom has a large bathroom opening out into the bedroom with a spa bath where you can relax and enjoy the sunset. You also have your own private balcony with sunlounges. Crisp clean linen and very comfortable pillows and mattresses that are regularly steam cleaned, ensure your sleep is sound.
The 2nd bedroom has two single beds that can be converted to a king size bed, plus we can provide a 5th bed which is a single inflatable mattress. This bedroom opens out onto a small deck.
We love our apartment and regularly check and maintain to make sure everything works for your special holiday. Beds and curtains are steam-cleaned regularly. We provide pool towels as well as bath towels, to help lighten your luggage on the plane.
Our electric golf buggy has mag wheels, seatbelts and personalised number plates so you won't lose it in the crowd.
Things to do on Hamilton Island:
If you have never been to Hamilton Island before, you are in for a treat.
It is not like the typical "resort" island where you are limited to resort life.
Hamilton has small shops, boutiques, a supermarket, bakery & deli, a bank, post office and lots of restaurants.
Tours and activities can be booked, and you can do trips to the outer reef, Whitehaven Beach, archery, go-karting, diving, snorkeling, paddle boarding etc - but the main thing is to RELAX.
From the moment you arrive, you are met at the airport or marina by our friendly valet service, who will take you to the apartment and give you all the advice you need to have the perfect holiday. Please note there’s only one valet pick up and drop off per stay. Keep this in mind if you have guests arriving or departing on multiple flights.
At the end of your stay, they will return to take you to the airport. You will have lots of fun exploring the island in our golf buggy. We love Hamilton Island, and we want you to be able to afford to come and see for yourself what a great place for a holiday it is.
Please note:
*Check out time is strictly 10am and late checkouts are unavailable. We need to allow enough time to clean and renew the apartment in between guests. Our valet will make arrangements with you to pick you up from the apartment and take you to the airport. Please keep this in mind when booking flights as a late check out is not available.
*On arrival at either Hamilton Island Airport or Marina, you will be met by our valet who will take you to our apartment. We will request your arrival and departure details before your stay. Check in time is 4pm so you will be able to leave your bags at the apartment on arrival and use the buggy to explore the island until the apartment is ready. Early check in is unavailable as the apartment needs to be cleaned between guests.
*Car seats are not provided for children. You can bring your own or hire one from the buggy hire shop on Hamilton Island. They need to be correctly fitted. A port-a-cot is available for your use, but we don't provide the linen, so please bring your own cot linen if you need to use the cot.
*As this is a self-contained apartment, mid stay cleans are not provided. There is a laundry with a washing machine and dryer for your use and various cleaning products provided.
*As our apartment is self-contained/self-catering accommodation, we don't provide the same service as a hotel. We don't provide food, coffee grounds, or make reservations for guests. There is an IGA in the Marina to purchase items you need. You can book activities and restaurants via the Hamilton Island website or App.
* As per our rules and policies, a cleaning fee of $75 will be deducted from your refundable 'damage deposit' if the BBQ or coffee machine is left unclean after use. Please use the products provided to clean the BBQ if you use it. Please refer to the coffee machine instructions for cleaning requirements.
* As per our rules and policies, a cleaning fee of $75 will be deducted from your refundable 'damage deposit' if dirty dishes are left, if the dishes are left in the dishwasher and if garbage is not removed. Please place all clean dishes back into the cupboards/drawers. All garbage needs to be removed from the apartment and placed in the bins at the top of the driveway.
*The pool fob costs $50 to replace every time it is lost by a guest. Please ensure that the fob is returned to the Valet on your departure. A $50 fee will be deducted from your refundable 'damage deposit' for lost fobs.
*Please note that only guests staying at qualia, Beach Club, Reef View Hotel, Palm Bungalows and Hamilton Island Holiday Homes have the cost of beach activities included in their accommodation costs. If staying at privately owned holiday homes such as this one, a hire fee is charged. Activities include catamarans, kayaks, stand up paddleboards and snorkeling equipment.
