Your "Home away from Home!"...

Hi and welcome to our little slice of paradise.

Since the early 90's my family has been holidaying in and around Hamilton Island and the Whitsundays. We all loved it so much that my family bought property there. We absolutely think it's a very special place, and we have had so many memories made in this beautiful part of the world. Having had various properties on the island over the decades we believe that we have a pretty good handle on the good, bad and the ugly about the area (let me tell you there isn't much of the bad or ugly here...). The short story is we have great experience and we have various options for you to create your own fantastic holiday.

My wife and I have recently purchased a 2 bedroom penthouse style apartment on Hamilton Island, in an exclusive complex called "Blue Water Views". We think it's perfect (and it is for us) and it might be just the fit for you! It's very large compared to most 2 bedroom apartments with over 150sqm of floor area. Large living and dining, Extra large bedrooms both with own bathrooms and walk in robes. The second bedroom is easily large enough for the 2 double beds and is bigger than a lot of hotel rooms I know of.

We have a flat screen TV combined with Denon sound system that easily Connects to your own device for music, Nespresso coffee machine, full kitchen and BBQ, high quality kitchenware, PlayStation and some games as well as some movies if you just want to chill out at the apartment.


Hamilton Island...wow. Let's start with the climate. Hamilton island is just about perfect all year round, with temperatures in the high 20's in the heart of winter meaning you can swim all year round! Escape the winter blues and have Summer whenever you like! The Middle of summer is hotter obviously but never too hot (specially with a cold drink near one of the beautiful pools or snorkelling the reef!)... remembering a tropical holiday is what you go for!! There is SO much to do on the island and surrounds, but it's a great place just to exist and enjoy the atmosphere.... Or kick back by the one of the many pools available.

Hamilton island is a very unique environment, blending a relaxed community with resort style. Something is always going on and there is something to do. At your fingertips is the Great Barrier Reef (one of the natural wonders of the world) which can be explored in what seems like infinite ways on tours, there is a world class golf course and everything in between with Hamilton Island hosting almost every activity you can think of. There is a fantastic App for the island available on App Store.

Along with the complex pool, you will also have access to all the resort pools and access to book watersports, activities or tours. It's a perfect blend of a resort and island community in the perfect locale... It's Paradise! So if you're looking for a getaway with a feel like it's your own holiday home, explore the reef or to kick back in style in your own apartment or by one of the many resort pools.. this is it!

My family and I just came back from our holiday and absolutely loved the accommodation. Location is perfect! Close to everything but so quiet. Apartment had everything you need and the pool was an added bonus. We are already talking about coming back. This place was amazing! Ticked every box we could ask for as a larger family with 4 kids. It was so spacious and comfy! Every amenity you could hope for! The buggy included was an added bonus! It got us around the island with ease. The airport pickup and luggage drop off was exactly as planned. We really couldn’t thank the owners enough for everything including the ease of communication throughout to then reaching out to us amidst the unfortunate weather we encountered on our last day and offering us to stay the night if our flights got cancelled (which they did in the end!)..we are so so incredibly grateful and would highly recommend Blue Water 10, I hope one day we get to visit again too!

I also loved the location of the apartment as it was in a quieter place away from all crowds and had a beautiful view as well. Communication with the property manager was awesome. Great quiet location with beautiful views. Well appointed kitchen with everything you need to self cater. Owners were great to communicate with. No problems with check in/out, also very nice to have use of buggy after check out until flight departure. Only thing to fault is apartment could use a deep clean (one of the drawbacks being on an island with high staff turn over).

Hamilton Christmas holiday

Blue Waters 10 was spacious, so comfortable for our family of five, and had a beautiful outlook. The beds were comfy, the apartment had everything one needs, and was tastefully decorated. The owner was so nice to deal with and airport transfers help make it stress-free. We highly recommend this property. It was also great having a buggy to use to explore the island.

I highly recommend this accommodation. The size is bigger than expected. The use of pool, buggy and generous ammenities offered within the unit alleviated the impact of some unfortunately poor weather during our stay. Property as described. Good location a short buggy ride from everywhere. Open plan unit with a large balcony and very nice views. Gas BBQ was very handy. Making Wonderful Family Memories

Our family had a fantastic holiday exploring HI whilst staying at Blue Water View 10. The accommodation was well appointed and spacious enough for us and our 3 teenage boys. It is located within close proximity to all the regularly frequented areas on the island, however the included golf buggy made it all so much more convenient to get around. Michael & Shelley were great hosts and full of helpful information for first timers like us. We hope to make it back again soon to create more wonderful memories!

Blue Waters View 10

We had a fantastic stay at Blue Waters 10! The property was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing holiday. The beds were super comfy, and the amenities made it feel like a home away from home.The check-in process was seamless. We were greeted at the airport by a friendly driver who also took us back at the end of our stay. Everything ran right on time and was easy to organise.The online listing was 100% accurate. What you see in the photos is exactly what you get. There are no surprises, just a beautiful and well-maintained property with stunning views.Communication with the property manager was excellent. They were easy to reach and always responded promptly to any questions we had.The location couldn’t have been more perfect! It's peaceful, scenic, and close to everything Hamilton Island has to offer.We would stay here again. Highly recommended!
